54. It's Takes Time

Nyssa still avoids Azmy, until Azmy is confused by the attitude of his little wife.

After swimming, Nyssa leaves Azmy alone and returns to the room. At lunch, Nyssa does not want to eat together, his little wife prefers to eat in his room. Although their rooms are connected, Nyssa does not allow Azmy to cross. Azmy initially still harbors the hormones of his little wife, but he increasingly feels distant with Nyssa. Eventually, he decides to break Nyssa's ban.

Azmy went into Nyssa's room, seeing her little wife sleeping on a pillow. He tries to slowly improve his small wife's position, but Nyssa awakens.

Nyssa's first response was surprise, perhaps not expecting Azmy to enter the room.

Immediately Azmy locked both of Nyssa's hands beside the head. Stared at his little wife who is increasingly adorable. The increase in weight does not necessarily make it ugly, precisely the beauty is more radiated. He brought his face closer until Nyssa's breath breathed warmly on his face. But just as their lips would unite, Nyssa turned her face away. So Azmy can only kiss his little wife's cheek.

Azmy lets go of Nyssa, then sits back to Nyssa.

"Darling.." "Suami.." said the two simultaneously. Which makes them now sit facing each other.

"Please husband first."

"Darling, why do I feel like you're avoiding me? What's wrong with me? Just tell me, but don't silence me." Azmy said languidly. Her husband is sleep deprived, Nyssa can see eye bags there.

"It's not you who's wrong Azmy, it's me."

"Azmy?" asked Azmy who was astonished by Nyssa's call. Nyssa ignores Azmy's confusion and continues her words.

"Azmy, do you remember that question I asked on a rainy day?" ask Nyssa.

Azmy still remembered the question clearly, because the question Nyssa asked was very strange to him. Azmy nodded his head.

"You must have found out Nyssa's identity in detail before marrying her." Nyssa's guess was not wrong, Azmy nodded. Azmy feels like she's talking to someone else, not her little wife.

"You also know when Nyssa started wearing the hijab. Aren't you suspicious of Nyssa's character who is different from the information you get?

You must think Nyssa's change is because she's a convert."

Indeed Azmy had felt it, but he was tepis because he considered the change of Nyssa because he became a convert. Nyssa's words on target make Azmy increasingly clueless with Nyssa who is in front of him now. While Azmy is still confused by his thoughts, Nyssa leaves him and walks towards the walk in closet where he keeps his notebook.

Nyssa comes to hand the notebook over to Azmy. With doubts Azmy received the book, slowly he opened it greeted with the writing of Nyssa's name on the first page.

On the second page, Azmy read information that made no sense to him. The date listed there, a 10-day gap from her conscious self from the coma. Azmy began to open another page and digest the information carefully.

"So, you're not Nyssa but another soul named Nyssa?" azmy asked doubtfully, the information she got was really hard to believe.

"Right, I'm Aeesha Nyssa, my nickname is Nyssa. My soul entered Nyssa's body, right after Nyssa's decision as a substitute bride."

"Then, where's the real Nyssa?"

"I don't know either. Last time I felt his soul when you proposed to him, after that I didn't know."

"Why are you telling stories now?" azmy's voice is getting colder.

This was the first time for Nyssa to hear and see Azmy turning cold to her. But Nyssa was undaunted, she was used to many characters in her life.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lie to you, my memory just came back last night. As long as I live the life of Nyssa the owner of the body, only the memory of the owner of the body I remember. So that I go through the routine like a body owner, but stick with my character. Nyssa is a docile, shy, quiet, and thirsty for affection. Despite being equally quiet, I never felt sympathy for his family who had ignored him. You must've felt it, when Nyssa's dad was in the hospital."

What Nyssa said was right. In the hospital, Nyssa did not cry or feel sad. Quiet and show no sympathy at all, only fulfilling the obligations of a child. Azmy began to doubt his judgment.

"How can another soul enter the body? You didn't cheat me, did you? Don't tell me this is how you fucked me!" azmy's voice is rising.

"Azmy, I know everything that's happened is impossible. I have also questioned my situation. But if God wills, what can I do? "What happens, it happens." That's the power of God." Nyssa recounts everything she went through, including her inner war and her alleged dual personality.

"Why not find a religious expert or ustadz to ask this?" ask Azmy.

"How am I supposed to tell this beyond reason? Is there someone in this city whose level of understanding is on par with that in my world? The answer is no, because there is a Muslim minority. Ustadz is here, his understanding is nothing as deep as in my old world. If it was in my world, I would be able to meet someone who could answer my situation. No, no, no one's gonna think I'm lost my mind. After all, I can't tell others about my situation, just as I opened my disgrace. Not necessarily the person can keep a secret." Nyssa's explanation makes sense to Azmy. But Azmy doesn't understand Nyssa's intentions with her different world.

"Another world?"

"The world where I live. I live in Indonesia, more precisely on the island of Borneo, but I was born in Java. Padang cuisine is a typical food from the island of Sumatra. Soto with thick sauce is a typical food from the island of Java, while soto with clear sauce is a typical food of South Kalimantan."

Until here, Azmy begins to accept Nyssa's absurd explanation. Because he wondered about Nyssa's cooking last time.

"I've searched the map, the internet, and the books in the library. But everything is nil, there is no information related to the State of Indonesia where I live. Including the countries in my world. You read my notes, all my speculations are there. Even though the language, and everyday life are the same. Your world and mine are different."

"So, who have I been married to all this time?" Ask Azmy. He decided to accept Nyssa's explanation in the meantime. But there was still doubt in his heart.

"I." Replied Nyssa who had not shown his emotions. Azmy had clenched his fist. Seeing Azmy in disbelief, Nyssa continued her words.

"It is halal or haram for me to relate to you, not me to decide. To be sure, this body is legally and religiously married to you. But I'm sorry, after my memory came back I stayed away from you. Because I am a mother of 2 children who has a husband that I miss. Looks like we need some time to readjust."

"You mean, all this time our relationship has been meaningless?" Azmy asked who was closing her eyes.

"It's not meaningless, nor have I denied our relationship all along. But the memory of my current husband and son makes me feel sinful. I don't know how they are doing right now. I also feel guilty for staying away from you as my husband in this world. I should how? It's illegal for me to be in touch with you if my mind is elsewhere." Nyssa Bright.

Azmy fell silent, which was exactly what Nyssa said. Azmy wouldn't have done it if he was in Nyssa's position. If Nyssa is in front of him this is a soul coming from another world. What about Nyssa's real soul? Azmy had already tried to accept, but why did it hurt like this. Nyssa is serving her role all along because of Nyssa's original memories. So, if Nyssa hadn't lost her memory, she wouldn't be with Azmy right now. Azmy's mind branched out everywhere. A high IQ does not guarantee that you can make decisions right now.

Nyssa, who saw Azmy still silent, thought, she moved from the bed to walk this closet. Pack some clothes in a suitcase and get ready to go. Nyssa had already steadied her heart to stay away from Azmy first. Until his heart was completely calm. Although she had sincerely accepted His decree, but her memory still remembered her husband and son. Nyssa does not want to be more sinful because of her body's response to Azmy, making her relate in a state not wholeheartedly.

Nyssa pulls suitcase out walk in closet. The sound of a suitcase wheel, Azmy awakened.

"Where are you going?" Azmy asked, looking at the suitcase in Nyssa's hand.

"I need time to convince my heart, you also need time to make a decision. If we see each other, I'm afraid I'll hurt you even more."

"Didn't you love me all this time?"

"Love. I, from my old life until now, have never understood the word love."

"Then what about your husband?" Azmy asked who felt the pain in her heart.

"We're the same. They never say the word love. For us, trust, mutual complement, mutual understanding is enough to live a household life. Just the words "i sing you" we say so often."

"I love you." Azmy expresses her feelings, fearing regret if she reveals it too late.

Nyssa smiles at Azmy's love statement. During this time Azmy who often expressed love to him. But she would smile without answering him as she is now. Not felt, Nyssa's tears escaped just like that.

Azmy who saw Nyssa's tears, immediately approached his little wife. The tears of Nyssa, holding her in arms.

Nyssa felt a sense of comfort, which was originally just tears now increasing with a rush. Azmy gives a sense of comfort like her husband, giving the same attention, the same tenderness, the same warmth. Everything she felt and was given by Azmy, was the same as her husband. Her heart ached to leave Azmy, as painful as it was to be away from her husband.

"Is this why God brought him to Azmy's side?" Ask Nyssa in my heart.

Nyssa releases Azmy's embrace, still with tears in her eyes. Nyssa kisses the back of Azmy's hand, as she is a wife who must get her husband's permission when leaving the house.

Azmy was silent, her face coldly responding to Nyssa. No kiss on the top of his head for his little wife. His heart warmed because of his little wife, like it was frozen again. Azmy lets Nyssa leave him.
