After venting the annoyance of Mr. Darion on his men, the middle-aged man rushed into his private area, the second room of former Mother Ani that he had conjured into his second room. No one was ever allowed to enter his second room downstairs. Even to clean the room, he did it alone.
The guilt in her heart after desecrating Mother Ani did exist, but all of it was swallowed up by anger because she could not accept if the love of Mother Ani and Mr. Adnan was so strong, she said, after the efforts he had made to destroy them, in fact he was the one who was destroyed.
Many women he made as an outlet of anger and na*sunya when he was young. However, she still could not replace her empty heart due to the departure of Mother Ani. When he's half-deterred, Mr. Darion comes to an orphanage, where he meets Ethan. Mr. Darion decides to adopt Ethan and not get married. Until now, the middle-aged man was still at home with his solitude.
Repeatedly Mr. Darion convinces himself to apologize to Mother Ani aats his actions first, but the ego in his mind always provokes him to do the opposite, namely by injuring and destroying Mother Ani. He hoped that Mother Ani would apologize to him and beg to no longer hurt them, that was when she would vent all the has*at in her mind.
"Ani, until when do I have to be like this? Living in the shadow of the past is very difficult for me. I thought that after you lost Adnan, you and Papa would fully consider me. But it turns out .. even though Adnan is gone, your attitude remains the same towards me," muttered Mr. Darion as he stared at the old photo of Ms. Ani that he secretly took.
No one knew clearly about the accident that hit Mr. Adnan, they only knew if it was a single accident due to Mr. Adnan who was exhausted. However, behind it all, of course, there was the interference of Mr. Darion. Yes, the middle-aged man could hurt his own foster sister. Mr. Darion forgot all the good Mr. Okta and his wife had done to him.
"If I hadn't denied it and kept you, could you be mine now?" ask her again with a glaring look deep into the past.
The regret that could not be expressed made Mr. Darion darkened his eyes and did not want to say sorry. In fact, in his heart he already hated everything he was doing right now.
After being satisfied to look at the old photo of Mother Ani, Mr. Darion made a quick exit from the room. Just as he closed the room door, one of his men came over.
"Master, I have word that the Great Lord has come out of his coma" the young man said as he stood before Mr. Darion.
"A–what? Ba–how could Ethan not tell me this?" respond to Mr. Darion with wide eyes due to surprise after hearing his adoptive father roar.
"Ma–maaf, Sir. Young Master Ethan left this town a few days ago. He ran away after robbing a friend of his restaurant's money" the young man reported.
Again Mr. Darion received a very surprising report for him, the child he raised turned out to be unreliable. A rough gust of breath sounded out from between his lips, disappointed and disappointed he felt again. The man was still silent with a blank look, there was no highlight of frustration or sadness that made his men wonder and worry.
"Tu–tuan, what ... are you okay? I ... I will ask someone to look for the whereabouts of Young Master Ethan," said Mr. Darion's men who were not at all responded to because the middle-aged man was still busy with his raging thoughts.
The young man then helped Mr. Darion to sit his body on the sofa not far from where he was standing earlier. After taking Mr. Darion to a seat, the young man intended to leave. However, just a few steps he walked, Mr. Darion called out to him.
"Stop!" the door was without looking at the man.
"Sorry, Sir. You mean what?" The man felt astonished because his master suddenly asked him to stop.
"Don't look for the boy. Let him do what he wants. I'm disappointed, I won't ask him to come back here." The disappointment Ethan makes for neglecting to look after Mr. Okta makes Mr. Darion reluctant to forgive him.
The young man in front of Mr. Darion was still sculpting, he felt a little astonished by the change in his master's attitude towards the child. However, it did not last long, the young man immediately nodded and followed Mr. Darion's orders.
After the departure of his men, Mr. Darion laid his head on a sofa bed. The middle-aged man looked very tired and dizzy, it was seen because Mr. Darion was currently twitching the base of his nose to relieve a headache that suddenly attacked him.
After a while and the headache lessened, Mr. Darion got up to meet his adoptive father who was still in the hospital.
At least at this time Papa is awake and hopefully he quickly recovered, Mr. Darion's mind.
The middle-aged man then asked one of his drivers to drive him to the hospital where Mr. Okta was being treated. Along the way to the hospital, Mr. Darion was so excited. He had long wanted to see Mr. Okta back to health.
The journey they took was not long. So, now Lord Darion has arrived. He rushed into the elevator which brought him upstairs, where Mr. Okta was being treated.
Arriving upstairs, she coincides with the doctor who just came out of Mr. Okta's room. However, what astonished him was the doctor he had just met, not the doctor who used to check on Mr. Okta before.
Why is the doctor different? Have you changed? But ... why is there no prior notice if the doctor is replaced, Mr. Darion's inner self while continuing to stare at the young doctor's back whom he had just met.
"That's it. It makes no difference either" muttered Mr. Darion while shaking his shoulder.
Mr. Darion immediately entered Mr. Okta's ward. He saw the man who had cared for him first, now already frail and living bones wrapped in skin only.
"Father," said Mr. Darion to Mr. Okta.
"May ...." It was a nickname for Mr. Darion while in the middle of his family.
"How's Papa doing? Forgive me for not being by your side when Papa woke up" said Mr. Darion, holding Mr. Okta's cold hand.
"Where's my grandson?" Mr. Okta's question made Mr. Darion a little surprised that Mr. Okta did not usually ask Ethan for his presence.
"Ethan isn't here, Pa. Di–"
"Not Ethan, Dion. But Adnan's son."
