Not Just a Milk Mother

Not Just a Milk Mother
Chapter 65

A few days have passed. Ani's mother has been allowed to return home. However, despite that, he had to undergo further examinations to continue monitoring his health.

Allura kept asking Aunt Erni to stay there for a while longer, until her mother was completely healed. Luckily, her aunt was willing to comply with Allura's wishes.

"Ra, you go to a hospital every day like this, isn't your employer angry?" asked Aunt Erni because she felt astonished at Allura who could easily visit the hospital every time.

"Mmmh, Alhamdulillah, Bi. My employer understood and they allowed me to continue to visit Mama until she was completely healed" Allura replied as she was.

Yes, what Allura said was indeed true. Lady Fika and Mr. Anderson gave Allura the freedom to visit her mother. Even so, Allura also did not forget his obligation to take care of the Stars.

Instead, Mr. Anderson and Mrs Fika were very supportive of what Allura was currently doing. In fact, they are also never late to warn Allura in order to maintain his health.

"Thankfully, Auntie was very worried that they would get angry with you and get you fired from your current job" Aunt Erni said with a sigh of relief.

"Thank God, no, Bi."

After finishing who cleaned up the items, Allura also guided Mother Ani to walk out of the room. Ani's mother was able to walk on her own, but Allura was too worried and chose to help her.

However, they had not yet reached the door, suddenly someone opened it.

"Rara, why didn't you tell me that your mother is going home today? If only my mother hadn't said it, then I wouldn't have known it" Arzan scolded as he approached Ani's mother and Aunt Erni.

Allura knitted her brows when she heard Arzan reprimand her. He did not intentionally tell Arzan because he did not want to bother the man. However, who would have thought, it turns out that Arzan knew it from Mrs Fika.

"Sorry, Sir. I'm not telling you this because I don't want to trouble you. After all, don't you also have to work. But why did you come here?" allura asked as the man stood straight in front of him.

"You take it easy, I always try to make time for all your needs" replied Arzan as he rubbed Allura's head. In fact, he originally told Edwin to replace the meeting he had to attend this afternoon.

Arzan did not feel awkward at all as he rubbed Allura's head in front of Mother Ani and Aunt Erni. Unlike the case with the girl who had lowered her head in so much shame on her mother and aunt.

Mother Ani and Aunt Erni did not make a sound, they both continued to pay attention to the movements of Allura and Arzan with a small smile. There is a speck of worry in Mother Ani about Arzan and Allura, she is very afraid if Arzan to have a heart in her child. Especially after his story was with the husband, he did not want his son to suffer because of the feelings they had.

"Ehem." Ani's mother cleared her throat to resuscitate Arzan who was still staring at her son. He could guess that Arzan already had a heart for his son and that was what he feared.

Ani's mother was aware that feelings can never be forced and we do not know to whom the heart is anchored. However, for this time he hoped that Allura would not follow his heart. No mother in this world wants bad luck for her child.

Arzan seemed to wake up from his daydream, the man immediately turned his attention away from Allura while rubbing his face slowly.

Oh my God, every time I'm with Allura, I always forget myself.

"Ma–maaf, Mom. Can we continue the journey?" ask Arzan finally to Ani's mother.

The two middle-aged women nodded and agreed to Arzan's question. After making sure there were no more items left behind, they continued their journey slowly. Arzan took the initiative to take a wheelchair available in the corner of the room to be worn on Ms. Ani.

"Mom, I'd better use a wheelchair. So that Mom's body is not too tired," suggested Arzan while preparing the wheelchair in front of Mother Ani.

Ani's mother seemed hesitant to ride it. However, after seeing the nod from Allura, then he sat his body in the wheelchair. Allura smiled and started pushing Mother Ani's wheelchair followed by Aunt Erni who was walking beside her and Arzan who was on her right while carrying things belonging to Mother Ani.

When the four passed through one of the hallways, they accidentally passed by the middle-aged man who a while ago charged at Allura.

Arzan stopped his steps and greeted Mr. Darion. No one noticed the look on Mother Ani's face which immediately stiffened when she saw the middle-aged man. How not, even though he had not seen the man for decades, but he still kept remembering how the man said rudely to him.

Mr. Darion had glanced at the woman sitting in a wheelchair, but he could not recognize her because she partially covered her face and bowed deeply. Allura herself chose to keep quiet while watching Arzan and the middle-aged man who was still sailing.

"How is Mr Okta doing at the moment?" asked Arzan after he finished shaking Mr. Darion's hand.

"Well, it's still the same as it was a few months ago. Especially after hearing the news that my sister had died, she was devastated and tortured herself even more," replied Mr. Darion.

Allura could see a look of sadness emanating from Mr. Darion's face. However, for now he still did not understand the direction of their conversation.

"Well, I'll go home first, sir. May Mr. Okta recover soon and you may find the family of your late sister" Arzan said before he left Mr. Darion completely alone.

"Thank you for the prayer, Arzan."

Arzan only nodded for a moment to respond to Mr. Darion's words. As well as Allura, he also nodded faintly before returning to continue his journey.

Why do I feel so familiar with that girl's face? Or .. could it be .. Mr. Darion's inner self while staring at the backs of the four people who started entering the floor elevator.

"Cannot be. I'm sure it's not Adnan and Ani's son. They won't be able to pay for the hospital and take the VIP floor like this" muttered Mr. Darion who recalled a little how his sister used to leave the house without carrying a dime of money, only the clothes he wears. So, he assumed that until now the economic situation of his sister-in-law is still the same as before. Especially after the departure of her husband, she was increasingly convinced of it.

Arzan and deliver Mother Ani and Aunt Erni to the rented house where they used to live. Although the house has been uninhabited for several weeks, the atmosphere is still clean and well maintained. Viana always comes there to help Allura clean up the house.

Once there, it turns out that Allura's best friend was waiting for his arrival with several residents and welcomed Ani's mother who had just returned from the hospital.

"Allura, I miss you so much!" viana exclaimed as she approached Allura and hit him.

"I miss you too, Na. Thank you for welcoming me and Mama" Allura said in her arms.

"Together, Ra. I'm glad to be able to help you," replied Viana.

Allura invites Mother Ani and Aunt Erni and Arzan to enter her simple rented house, followed by Viana walking behind them.

The neighbors were so enthusiastic to welcome the arrival of Mother Ani and Allura who had returned from the hospital. They also congratulate and thank you because Mother Ani has recovered even though she has not fully recovered.
