Not Just a Milk Mother

Not Just a Milk Mother
Chapter 112

The afternoon. Madam Fika asked some servants to help Allura move to the upper room, more precisely to Arzan's room. They also prepared another room to be occupied by the Stars. In fact, Arzan deliberately broke into the wall of his room in order to connect with the room that will be filled by the child.

"Mas, wouldn't it be a pity if the walls of his room were fitted with a door like this?" asked Allura while looking at some workers who were installing a connecting door between his room with the Bintang room.

"Why is that, Ra? Isn't that nice. So, Bintang can practice sleep on its own" replied Arzan without getting up from his bed playing with the Stars.

"But .. I don't think I can let him sleep alone. We better let him sleep in the box alone," Allura's advice was immediately responded to by Arzan's headband.

"No, Ra. I don't agree."

Allura slumped her shoulders after hearing the answer from the husband. Of course he understood why Arzan had come this far, but he thought the Star was too small to sleep alone.

"Honey, I want to train Bintang to get used to being independent early. Besides our room next to each other, the door can be opened at night. So, what are you worried about?" ask Arzan to the wife who looks disappointed at the answer earlier.

Allura fell silent and pondered Arzan's words. There's no harm either. The stars are not alone at night. Allura confirmed Arzan's words in his heart, but he did not speak them verbally.

"What do you think, do we just empty the room. And ... let Bintang sleep with us, maybe even until later he grew up because he was used to sleeping with parents," continued Arzan again when he saw Allura who never answered his words.

"Alright, alright. It's up to you, Mas. After all it was also for the good of the Star," Allura replied as she got up from her seat. He intended to pick up the items left behind in the lower room. However, Arzan thought that the woman was angry because she was dissatisfied with the answer.

Why did Rara suddenly leave? Is he mad at me? But ... I just do what I should do, Arzan's mind while staring at his wife's departure from the room.

"That's it. I'll apologize to him later." Arzan got up from his bed holding the Star, he walked towards the walk-in closet to pick up something. Afterwards, Arzan came out of the room and went downstairs to join his parents.

Arriving downstairs, Arzan saw only Madam Fika and Mr. Anderson, there was no Allura there. Arzan joined his parents without looking for Allura.

"Lho, Zan-chan. Where's allura?" ask Mr. Anderson who realized the child's presence first.

"So Rara came down, Pa. But, I don't know where he is now" replied Arzan as he sat his body on the sofa sebrang papa and his mother.

"Oh, maybe he's in his old room" responded Mrs Fika without distracting her from the television screen.

Arzan and Mr. Anderson nodded their heads when they heard his mother's response. "Maybe."

"By the way, Zan. Have you prepared for your honeymoon?" madam Fika asked as she looked seriously at her only son.

"Come, Ma. I talked about it with Rara, but she refused. Even when I suggested the stars to sleep apart it seemed like she didn't like it."

Mr. Anderson looked at his son with raised eyebrows, he was slightly astonished by Arzan's statement. Very rarely in this day and age women refuse to go honeymoon. Moreover, they are newly married couples, usually very happy if they have free time together.

"What does Papa mean to ask like that?" madam Fika asked while looking intently at her husband.

"Papa doesn't mean anything, Ma. It's just ... in today's very rare women who refuse to do honey moon or sleep separately with their children. Especially the stars that only children connect. But, in contrast to Allura who chose to stay asleep with the Stars. So, Papa is a little hesitant if Allura loves you," explained Mr. Anderson.

"Pa, don't be so bad. Allura did all that because he loved the Stars so much. What Papa does not remember, Papa also forced Mama to sleep separately with Arzan when he was a baby. So, Allura was really worried about Bintang," Madam Fika responded after hearing the explanation from the husband.

Mr. Anderson fell silent again and slightly fondled his wife's words, what Mrs Fika said was true too.

"Pardon Papa for prejudging our daughter-in-law. Hopefully, Allura is not hurt when he hears Papa's statement," said Mr. Anderson after he realized his mistake.

"That's it, Pa, Ma. I know, this marriage was so sudden for her. So, it was only natural that he would still keep his distance from me. I'm sure, after we move house later Allura's attitude will not be embarrassed again like this." Arzan mediates the words of his parents with his confidence.

Hearing the word 'move house', made Madam Fika speechless. He did not want his son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter to leave the house. Really, the other wish is that all the members of his son's family live together there. He did not want the house to be quiet again as before, when Arzan chose to split the house when he married Rivera.

"Zan, can't you stay here? Mama did not want to part with Bintang or Allura. So, don't move, yeah .... After all this house is wide enough for us to live together," said Mrs Fika to the child.

Arzan immediately shook his head violently, his desire to move house was very round and he did not want to cancel it just because of the wishes of the mother.

"Ma, if we continue hitchhiking here, when will Allura and I be able to live independently? Wouldn't it be better for a house to be occupied by only one king and one queen?" asked Arzan again which immediately made the mother speechless a thousand languages.

"Our son is right, Ma. Anyway, we can still visit her whenever Mama wants." Mr. Anderson rubbed his gloomy-looking wife's shoulder after hearing the child's words.

Madam Fika could only sigh deeply after hearing her husband's words. Besides he wanted Allura to be his son-in-law, he wanted to stay with the young woman to accompany her boring days. Since Allura's presence in the house, she has never felt lonely again. In fact, Allura has always been a place to tell stories. So, he was a little sad when the child planned to take him away from home.

"Yes already. But, you guys have to play here often. Do not let Mama be lonely because she feels neglected by you guys," said Mrs Fika finally.

Arzan nodded and agreed to the mother's words. "Of course, Ma. I'm not gonna let that happen."
