It had been almost a week since Ani and Allura's mother were in the hospital. However, until now Mother Ani has not shown any signs of soon awakening, making Allura very worried.
"Mama, why haven't you woken up yet? Doesn't Mama miss Lura?" allura muttered softly, the girl's voice was already a little hoarse because it had to endure her cries. Even occasionally Allura hit his chest to ward off the tightness that suddenly constricted his breathing.
Viana who was standing beside Allura looked at him with pity, she herself did not know what to do other than to provide support for Allura to be more patient.
"Ra, if you want to cry, cry. Don't be held back like that" Viana suggested as she looked at Allura who was trying to hold back her cries.
"No, Na. I. .. I don't want to make Mama sadder because I have to see me cry. I ... I can definitely hold this all in," Allura refused.
Viana moved closer to Allura and hugged her from behind, just then Allura immediately shed her tears. His eyes were no longer strong to stem the water that had been trying to break his defense, in fact Allura was not as strong as that. He remains a weak man and strives more often to be strong.
Viana continued to rub the back of Allura who was still sobbing in her arms, the two girls crying together in front of the middle-aged woman who was still unconscious. They tried to strengthen each other through the gap.
"You're strong, Ra. You can get through this" said Viana. There were no other words he could say anymore. How not, his best friend is now desperate and slumped in front of him. However, he could not do anything.
Allura did not respond to Viana's words, she herself continuously shed all her heartbreak through tears. True what people say, crying will not solve the problem, but by crying at least the heart can become calmer afterwards. It was quite evident, Allura began to calm down after almost half an hour had passed.
Viana swiftly took a drink of water for Allura who was on the nightstand, next to Mother Ani's gurney.
"Drink first, Ra," said Viana, handing over a bottle of bottled water.
"Thank you, Na." Allura picked up the bottle of drinking water and gulped it down until the remaining half was left.
"How are you calmer?" ask Viana.
Allura smiled as she nodded a few times.
"Now I feel better, Na" she replied.
"Kan, if you're sad, it's better to get kicked out and not be held like that. I don't mind accompanying you. You don't be ashamed because I saw your tears" said Viana, rubbing her best friend's shoulder with affection, she felt Allura was more than just her best friend. So, Viana had better see Allura crying than the girl held back her cries to the torment like before.
Allura smiled back, but her head shook. He is not used to showing his weaknesses in front of others. To him, enduring grief was the way he showed patience.
"No, Na. I am ashamed to cry in front of you again. Now you know how hard I am" replied Allura, looking down and cleaning up the trail of tears still on her face.
Viana shook her head slowly, she was indeed Allura's best friend for a long time and during that time she could count with her fingers how many times Allura cried in front of her. When his father was very sick before he died, then when his father died and the last Allura cried a moment ago.
"Oh my God, Ra. You don't talk like that. We've been friends for a long time, so it's only natural that I know how hard and sad you are" Viana said.
The two girls embraced, Allura was very grateful for being able to have a friend as good as Viana.
"Thank you, Na. Thank you for always being by my side and accompanying me." Allura hugged Viana from the side, Viana herself hugged Allura back.
For a while, the two fell silent in a position of hugging each other. Until a while later, Viana accidentally saw Mother Ani's weakly moving fingers, she immediately let go of Allura and asked the girl to look at her mother.
"Ra, look! Mother's fingers move, you take care of Mom for a moment, I'll call the doctor." Viana quickly walked out to call the doctor around.
"Ma ...." Allura tried to call Ani's mother. A few seconds later, the eyes opened despite the weight.
"Mrs ... Mama's conscious?!" asked Allura with excitement.
Thank God, O Allah. Thank you, thank you for returning Mama to me, Allura's mind while holding the hand of Mother Ani.
"A–air." Ani's mother started muttering her first words asking for water.
Allura swiftly gave drinking water that had been fitted with straws in it to make it easier for Ms. Ani.
"Here, Ma."
Slowly, Mother Ani immediately drank the water. Once enough, he released the straw from his mouth. Shortly after, Viana came with the doctor and two nurses who would check on Ms. Ani.
Allura took a few steps back to make room for the doctor who was about to examine her mother, a sweet smile that was imprinted on Allura's face. The girl felt very grateful that Ani's mother had regained consciousness.
"Doctor, how's my mom doing?" asked Allura with enthusiasm.
"Thank God, he is better. We will continue to monitor his health every two hours. Now please allow him to rest first and not to give him any heavy pressure" the doctor advised before he left.
Allura nodded in understanding when she heard the words of the doctor who had just examined her mother.
"Good, Doctor. We understand," Allura and Viana replied together. Both of them smiled when they realized their silliness.
After saying goodbye to the three women in front of him, the doctor passed from there.
"Lura" said Mother Ani slowly.
Allura who felt called by her mother immediately approached her. Meanwhile, Viana walked directly across from Allura so that she could stand next to Mother Ani's gurney.
"Yes, Mom. Lura and Ana are here" Allura replied.
Viana immediately touched the hand of Ani's mother.
"Mother don't move much first" said Viana who was immediately embraced by Allura.
"Yes, Mom. Viana's right, I don't move much just yet" Allura said.
The middle-aged woman smiled as she nodded faintly in response to the child's words.
"Mother misses Lura" said Ani's mother.
"Lura also misses Mother," replied Allura while bringing her body closer so that she could hug Mother Ani, Viana also hugged them both. For a moment the three women fell silent in the position of embracing each other, they dissolved in gratitude and happiness.
