Not a Savings Woman

Not a Savings Woman
Palau

Ainaya sat on the edge of the bed. Imagine Bilal's tiny face when he smiled. Must be funny and adorable. His presence is indeed with a less precise way, but very meaningful in his life.

''Had Haris acknowledged me as his wife, I would have been the happiest woman in the world. Swiping a picture of the heart from the phone screen.

''It's a pity that I have to separate from my son and husband.''

Ainaya's face suddenly dimmed. How can he call Haris a husband, while they are currently living each other. Although there was no word of divorce, Ainaya had decided to leave the man's house. Sure you can get happiness.

''He is not my husband anymore. I should be able to forget about Haris.''

Ainaya put down her phone. He's out of the room. Opening the refrigerator.

There was nothing there except drinking water.

''I'll just buy it.'' Ainaya sat back down at the place. Just picking up the phone, the knock on the door surprised him.

''It's almost seven o'clock at night, who's coming?''

Ainaya out. I hesitated towards the door.

He opened his body wide. Look at a man standing in front of the room.

''Excuse me, Ma'am. I deliver food on behalf of Ms. Ainaya, '' he said back while looking at the name and address listed.

''Yes, I am alone. From whom, sir?'' ask Ainaya back.

''From Adam, ''' he replied.

Ainaya took the food and brought it in and locked the door. He called Adam to make sure before opening it.

''You shouldn't bother, Mom. I can buy it myself, Aienya said from a phone call.

''No papa, I'm sorry I couldn't accompany you to dinner. There is important work with Gunawan, said Adam from across the street.

There was a rumbling sound, it was certain that this time the man was in the middle of many people.

''I am the one who apologized has been troublesome.''

Ainaya disconnects him, fearing to disturb the busy Adam.

Ainaya opened the food given by Adam and ate it alone.

The clock had shown at one o'clock in the morning, but Bilal had not closed his eyes.

''Did you deliberately invite papa to stay up, son? If that's what you want papa ready for.'' Haris lay down beside Bilal. His lips kept telling stories and singing alternately. Hope the baby falls asleep soon.

Is this what Ainaya does every night, or just this time?

Haris sips a cup of coffee that has warmed up. Trying to keep her eyes open that feel heavy.

Nearly thirty minutes later, Bilal fell asleep too. Haris fell asleep considering tomorrow his work piled up.

Early morning

Only overnight Ainaya left the house but the longing began to feel piercing. Despite repeated denial, the heart cannot lie. Even the more forced will be more aches and pains.

I don't know what I'm feeling right now, but I hope you come back, Nay.

Haris contacted someone to get back to work at his house. He could not if he had to take care of his son alone and maybe so would lighten his burden a little.

''Bilal hasn't woken up yet, Mas?'' ask Jihan who just came in.

Haris shook without a sound. Staring at the appearance of Jihan who was neat and beautiful.

''You look tired.'' Jihan approached Haris and began to wrestle spoiled.

''Sorry, Ji. I have to go to the office.'' Pushing Jihan's body slowly. As if reluctant to make love. In fact, since Bilal was born they only did it once for Haris feels bland.

''You take care of Bilal, there will be a maid who will work in this house.'' Haris walked to the door.

His hand had not yet touched the knob, a hand coiled around his stomach from behind.

''But I want to, we haven't done it in a long time.'' Jihan kissed Haris' back gently. Then switch in front of him. Touching sensitive parts hoping to get a response.

''But it's noon, Ji. And I'm afraid it's too late.'' Put down Jihan's hand that was wrapped around her neck.

''Alright, but you have to promise tonight we will, '' Jihan asked expectantly.

Haris nodded slowly. As a husband, he did not wind to make his wife disappointed. Moreover, what Jihan asked for was an obligation that she had to do.

Haris flushed all over her body under the shower. Not understanding himself who is currently confused. His mind was confused and dead-end.

If your departure makes me upset like this, then I will take you back.

Haris left without breakfast. Calling Andik to request an appointment with Adam.

''Adam could have been this morning, sir. He said that later in the afternoon there was a dinner with his friend, said Andik explained.

Is that friend Ainaya?

''Well, ask him where I should meet him.''

Haris tidied up her appearance. Waiting for an answer from Andik who was busy talking to Adam via mobile phone.

''In the restaurant near the hotel, Mr.'' Andik put his phone in his pants pocket and then followed Haris from behind.

''Good morning, sir, ''' said Adam extending his hand.

''August.'' Haris received the client's hand. He sat in front of the man.

''Is there anything still to talk about? I think everything is enough and the project has been carried out, said Adam who leads on the work.

''This is not a business matter, but Ainaya.'' Looking at Adam who seemed to be smiling crisply.

''Ainaya, isn't it you and him already separated?'' ask Adam to investigate.

Actually it is not his business, but he considers the feud between the married couple a little interesting.

''Did Ainaya say that?'' ask Haris back.

In the past Haris had planned, but at this time there was no intention to divorce his wife. Moreover, his heart began to feel comfortable when he was near her.

''No, but if a husband and wife do not live in the same house and are not on good terms. Wouldn't it be better to get divorced?'' challenge Adam. ''And it seems like Ainaya is also comfortable living alone. He can smile and laugh. It was different when I first met. She was crying and drowning in grief for not being considered by her husband.''

It's not a satire, but a reality that has ever happened.

Haris went silent digesting every word that slid from Adam's lips.

''You don't know anything about my relationship with Ainaya. Now tell me where he is?'' ask Haris seriously.

Adam took a long breath. Staring at Haris with a relaxed look.

''Why do you know where Ainaya lives if it will only hurt him. Sorry, Mister. I've wanted to take your wife away for a long time, but it's all her goodness. I know she's not happy being a second wife.''

Haris lowered his head.

It turns out that Ainaya told Adam that he was only my second wife.
