Not a Savings Woman

Not a Savings Woman
Jihan's Advice

Ainaya sat pensively. His gaze was empty, as if there was no hope of living his life. Almost a full day he was drowning in deep sorrow. Haris not only ruined her future, but also ignored her feelings.

''You eat first, Nay.'' Aunt brought a plate of rice and put it on the table.

Ainaya turned his head and threw the food in any direction. The sound of plates hitting the wall sounded loud. The food that was neatly arranged was now messy on the floor.

''If I eat, will Auntie be able to return my son?'' screeched Ainaya with teary eyes. Evaporating her frustration that from earlier stifled her chest. It was as if the matter was dissatisfied and continued to approach him.

Aunt mute. He fused ten fingers. He couldn't possibly grant Ainaya's request this time.

''Preach him, Nay. Uncle is sure someday you will have another child. Poor Jihan ma'am who can't be a child.'' Uncle came closer.

Ainaya spilled the remaining tears. His heart was too weak to accept that fact.

''Auntie knows it's hard for you, but we can't back off anymore, Nay. They are not just anyone we can underestimate.'' Aunty tried to calm down and hoped that Ainaya could accept it.

''But it's not fair, Bi. Mas Haris has taken my son, Ainaya said intermittently.

Uncle took a deep breath. Then sit on the couch. As a parent, he could do nothing but accept it. Moreover, the Haris family has given them a lot of decent lives.

In another room

Bilal who had just opened his eyes continued to stick out his tongue. Her perfectly grasped hand continued to swipe towards her tiny lips.

''Papa's son is awake.'' Haris who was busy with a cell phone was forced to approach her baby who seemed unsettled.

''How do I carry it, Sus?" ask Haris who is still clumsy.

The nurse lifted the still weak baby's body and gave it to Haris, while Jihan looked at the two of them from the direction of the gurney.

''It looks like the baby is thirsty, sir.'' The nurse took a bottle of warm milk and put it in Bilal's mouth.

Not her accept, instead the baby was crying loudly. As if he didn't respond to something in his mouth.

''What's the matter, Sus? Is it possible that the milk is too hot?" Haris snatched the bottle from the sister's hand and stuck it on her cheek, making sure of it.

It's not hot, but why doesn't Bilal drink it.

Haris panicked as her son continued to cry without accepting the milk he had put in his mouth.

''Maybe she wants breast milk from her mother, sir, '' said the nurse as often happens to other babies.

Jihan was silent and occasionally glanced at Haris who looked panicked.

''Please go to her mother first, Mas. Pity her, later if you have been quiet just bring it here, '' Jihan's advice is directly approved by the sister.

It was heavy for Haris to take that advice and take the baby out.

Haris entered Ainaya's room without knocking. There was no one there, but the sound of water gurgling could be heard indicating that Ainaya was currently in the bathroom.

''We sit down first, ''' invite Haris to take Bilal to the sofa.

Ainaya did not come out for long. His entire body froze as he saw Haris who was busy silencing his son in tears.

Up to a few minutes the atmosphere was silent making Haris open his voice.

''Puck here, your son is thirsty!'' snarl it with a sharp look.

There was not the slightest bit of pity and compassion on Ainaya who was still pale.

Ainaya walked slowly towards Haris. His tongue was so twisted that he simply filled the man's call without protest. Unbuttoned one button hesitantly, then turned to look towards Haris.

''Why ''Why?'' ask Haris suspiciously.

''Come out for a minute! I want to breastfeed my son, said Ainaya timidly.

Haris moved from his seat.

Ainaya rushed to unbutton the next one after kissing each inch of her baby's face in turn.

''Mama will definitely miss you, son.''

Clear circles dripped just like that, given what was about to happen.

Haris looked at the circular clock in his hand, it had been almost fifteen minutes he was standing there. However, there was no sign of Ainaya calling out to him, for Haris to open the door to confirm what was happening inside.

Ainaya calmed his son with a soft song. Haris approached and sat back down.

''Wait, Mas. I still want to be with my baby, Ainaya said without staring.

Haris took a long breath. Trying to give time to the seemingly happy Ainaya. In fact, in his heart was impatient and wanted to leave, but undone.

''Mama's son is fine yes.'' Ainaya rubbed gently on Bilal's cheeks which began to fall asleep.

''Cepetan, Pa! Poor Jihan.'' Ms. Ida pulled Indrawan's hand. They rush out of the airport after previously getting word from Haris that Jihan gave birth.

"Just calm. Jihan's son was born." Mr. Indrawan showed me a picture of a tiny baby that Haris sent a few minutes ago.

They stopped his steps then settled the picture intensely.

Mother Ida's eyes glazed over. After a long wait, he finally had a very handsome grandson.

"Like Haris yeah, Pa." Ms. Ida gently stroked the baby's cheek through the phone screen.

"Yes yes, now we go straight to the hospital."

Mr. Indrawan and Ms. Ida rushed to the car. They told the driver to drive his car at high speed because he could not wait to meet his beloved grandson.

"Where's a patient named Jihan's room, Sus?" ask Ms. Ida at the receptionist.

Sister escorts mom Ida and Mr. Indrawan to the nursery of Jihan. Because, Haris had told him first before they misunderstood.

Along the way to Jihan's room, Ida unceasingly thanked God for her matchless happiness.

"This is the room, Mom." The nurse pointed at the door of Jihan's room that was tightly closed.

"Alright thank you," said Ida and Mr. Indrawan simultaneously. Then open the door slowly.

Jihan is sleeping on top of the bed. There is also an empty crib confirmed that it belongs to their grandchildren.

''Where's our grandson, Pa?'' mother Ida asked her husband with a scared face.

Put the bag down and check every corner of the room to the balcony.

''It's possible in the baby's room, Ma. Haris doesn't exist either, right?''

Ms. Ida went straight out to the passing nurse to inquire about the baby room.

''There's at the end there, ma'am.'' Pointing towards the fairly elongated passageway.

Madam Ida smiled and continued her steps. In the middle of his journey he suddenly stopped when he saw Haris coming out of one of the rooms with a baby in his sling.

''Haris,'' shouted Ida from a distance.

Haris was speechless, he was confused between advancing or staying stopped in place.

Gawat, how about you meet Ainaya. He will be suspicious.

Ainaya, who was inside, walked towards the door when she heard her husband's name called.
