NO DIGAS ADIOS (Don't Say Goodbye)
NDA - 127-S

Tony was in a cafe, alone. This morning he woke up early and was confused about what activities. Going to school? Lazy. All sorts of***** are whining the requirements for diploma admission he completed a few days ago. Even as her phone kept ringing, which came from her schoolmate who asked her to come, she ignored it. So for a few days he just spent his time walking around the city alone, stopping by the basecamp, stopping by his father's office. The activities he did were just to distract so as not to constantly think about Selenia.

Tony smiled bitterly given his stupidity - forgetting someone by blocking the person's number - childish once right? But there is no other way. If he continues to know Selenia's number online, his heart is always eager to send a message. And if that happened, then his mood would deteriorate. He would continue to think of Selenia and there was no end to it.

While enjoying the treat, Tony took a deep sip of his filter cigarette. Then three seconds later a puff of smoke blew out of his mouth forming a sequence of O letters - he played the smoke. His eyes circulated the view to the entire cafe room that was not too crowded. Nowadays, people are busy.

But no matter how long, four teenagers were seen entering the cafe while joking. Tony stared straight at them for getting to know one of them. Marvin's. Tumben that child is not the same Cia, his inner. Tony's one hand was already half-raised and almost waved to call Marvin before he finally broke the intention. Marvin seemed to be engrossed in his friends. He doesn't want to disturb.

But unexpectedly, Marvin who was also circulating his gaze to find a seat, he saw Tony and waved his hand at the boy. Tony smiled wryly and waved back.

"Wait a moment, bro, I'm my samperin friend first," said Marvin patting one of his friends after they got a place on table number 18. It's pretty far from Tony's desk.

The three friends of Marvin nodded and sat down on the empty bench. One of them went to the counter table to order food.

"Is it early in the morning just smoking?" chirp Marvin upon his arrival at Tony's desk.

Tony smiled slightly and switched off his cigarette. "Ck, what the hell lo."

"I'm sure you won't do it at home. Unless you have suicidal intentions, hang your bokap alive. Haha...!" Marvin chuckles.

"Ah resek lo, just a bar doang kali. I stopped long ago too. This morning I suddenly wanted to."

Marvin shook his hand. "Lo's alone?" dingy.

"Lo is not the same as Cia?" Tony raised his chin.

"I was going to go out with him, but he went to the hospital. Jenguk Selenia said that."

Tony's eyes widened in shock to hear the answer.

"Selenia in the hospital?!" body vertical. "What is she sick?"

"Cia said she said she passed out last night."

"Seriously lo Vin?!" Tony stood up and deftly immediately packed some of his things on the table.

"Gue thought you knew."

Tony shakes. Of course he doesn't know at all. He had even blocked Selenia's number. It had been almost two weeks he had never heard from her and in fact he was in the phase of forgetting. But somehow, the news from Marvin just now made him unable to stay silent. What happened to Selenia? Why did he faint?

"Lo know which hospital?"

After Marvin gave the name of the hospital, Tony immediately rushed out of the cafe.

...🌺🌺🌺...

"Sus, what kind of patient Selenia Effendi is in?" tony asked the nurse when he got to the hospital.

"Awhile, I'm looking first" the nurse responded kindly while looking at the computer screen in front of her.

"Patient on behalf of Selenia Effendi." said the nurse and immediately made Tony straighten his face towards her with a serious look. "He's still in the ICU. You'll be straight there'll be a crossroad take to the left."

"What's? THE ICU? Okay sister, thanks!" tony said and rushed over.

Selenia being treated in the ICU? Meaning his condition is severe? Oh my God, what happened to him? Questions ran through Tony's head as he walked. He fainted in his own house? Tony's feelings became increasingly uncertain.

Arriving at the end of the hallway, Tony suddenly stopped his steps. He saw Adam with a doctor coming out of the ICU room. To prevent Adam from seeing that he was here, Tony backed off and hid behind a wall. From there, he could quite clearly hear the conversation of the two people.

"I've scheduled for surgery in two days, sir," the doctor said. "And for the afternoon I think Ms. Selenia can be moved to the ward."

"Thank God doc then. Thank you for all the effort you have done for my wife" Adam greeted the doctor with gratitude.

"Well, if it's time to move, I'll come back here. Then excuse me now, because there's another patient waiting for me."

Adam nodded and let. After the doctor left, Adam went back into the ICU room to accompany Selenia.

"Operation?" Tony muttering. "What operation? Isn't Selenia's pregnancy nine months? Why should I have surgery now?"

...🌺🌺🌺...

Finally, from the information he was looking for through the nurse who always checked Selenia's condition, Tony found answers to questions that settled in his mind. It turns out Selenia will be in a caesarean section and give birth prematurely due to the preclampsia she suffered.

From there he could not remain silent. Several times, unbeknownst to Adam and the others, he always came to the hospital to see Selenia's state even if only from the outside. The feeling is quite relieved but also a little painful every time watching the togetherness of Selenia and Adam in the hospital room. Although the oxygen hose and the infusion tube were still connected to her body, Selenia could still laugh and smile while chatting with Adam.

Adam is truly Selenia's soul mate. The one who can understand Selenia inside out and more importantly Adam is the one who can understand and complete Selenia.

Sometimes Tony himself thinks, if Selenia were his, would he be able to make Selenia as happy as Adam? And Tony always shakes his head or he doesn't know. It might, but it won't be like Adam.

Why is this feeling so hard to go? Until when will it continue to be there, even though I have tried to forget as hard as possible? If he's not for me, why don't you throw this feeling out of God's heart? Why is it as if you just glue it tightly even tears of disappointment are unable to let go?

Why do you blame God? another voice in his heart answered. Not everything that comes to you always implies meaning. Not everything you've got your heart to repay. You should have realized from the beginning that you had taken the heart of someone wrong. He never loved you and he will never be able to repay you. He came just joking around, asking you to rejoice at the reason you got hurt. And you should laugh, not fall in love.

That other inner voice struck Tony's consciousness. With heavy strides, he left Selenia's inpatient room which he never dared to enter. And this afternoon is Selenia's scheduled surgery.

Alright, this will probably be the last time I see Selenia before I leave Indonesia. I know, because I should have realized from the beginning that I had been pushed back by the circumstances. And stupidly, all this time I was forced to settle down because of feelings. Maybe this is the time. It was a good time for me to completely forget everything about you. I surrendered...

I give up on reality.

Goodbye Selenia, hopefully we can meet again in a different version.

Tony sat on the motorbike with his gaze turned to the hospital building in front of him. He breathed a long and slow breath. Hopefully your operation goes well Cell, he said in his heart, before then starting his bike and darting away from the hospital.
