...Chapter 10: "Limbo …."...
...["Espousa ..."]...

"Huh??" Satoruu was shocked, unable to understand the accusation.
As the knights accuse Satoruu of rampaging and invading the Emeralze kingdom, a crystal ball provided by two strangers seems to back up their claims.
Satoruu exchanged confused looks with his comrades, trying to process the accusations of the knights.
"Two strangers? If one of them is Kaminou, who's the other?" Saishira pondered, considering the possibility of one of them being Kaminou.
Regardless, the knights remained steadfast in their decision to forbid their entry. They are simply doing their duty to protect the kingdom and ensure its security.
Reluctantly, Satoruu and his friends, Yuka and Shelina, leave the kingdom, allowed to collect their belongings before leaving.
As they packed up their belongings and walked out of the kingdom, waves of anger surged through the crowd of citizens. Frustrated voices rose, accusing Satoruu of accusing.
"You're just a monster!" shouted one citizen, bitterness visible from their words.
A worried mother gently warned her son, her voice filled with fear. "Stay away from the man, honey. He's a dangerous creature."
Yuka's patience reached its limit, her hands instinctively gripped the hilt of her sword with a strong determination.
"How dare you call Satoruu like that! He risked his life to protect you from those Death Waves!" yuka snapped, her voice trembling with anger.
The injustice of the situation sparked his anger.
"And you showed no gratitude at all. What kind of people are you?" he continued, his tone was filled with disappointment and disbelief.
Satoruu, aware of the rising tension, intervened calmly, his voice piercing through the tense atmosphere. "Enough, Yuka."
Satoruu, without even turning his face to speak to the angry crowd, calmly advised Yuka to refrain from any actions that could potentially harm them.
However, Yuka could not bear watching Satoruu being ridiculed, especially after all they had done to save countless lives from the destructive Death Wave.
"With 'enough', I mean enough for us to help them. From now on, we don't have to help them anymore. Just let them be devoured by the monsters," replied Satoruu, his words dripping with scorn as he retaliated against the insults thrown by the citizens.
Taking a deep breath, Yuka drew back her sword, silently discerning the true nature of the people around them. "so. So anyway. It is true, yes, that man forgets a thousand good things just because of one mistake."
Filled with a mixture of resentment and disappointment, the three bid farewell to the kingdom. Satoruu, Yuka, and Shelina had no choice but to look for a new place to be called home, far from the borders of the royal territory.
Fortunately, they find solace in a friendly village called Chavix. Located outside the royal boundaries, it served as the closest settlement to their previous home.
Although it seems simple to its population, housing at least a thousand residents, the village hugs Satoruu and his group despite knowing the news surrounding his alleged magical rampage.
The village chief greeted them warmly, and like luck, an empty house awaited their arrival. This empty residence becomes their temporary refuge, offering protection until Satoruu masters his unruly magic.
In the silence of the night, Satoruu secluded himself in his room, engrossed in experimenting. Shortly after, a dark figure appeared by his side, revealing himself as the embodiment of the Demonic Dragon—the entity responsible for his chaotic magic explosion. The room was shrouded in an ominous aura.
Satoruu started the conversation, his voice filled with solemnity. "Seriously, Demonic Dragon, do you know anything about Kaminou magic? Why is the magic so powerful that it can match me? Even Saishira who has mastered dark magic is still having a hard time fighting me."
The Demonic Dragon finally responded, explaining the matter. Kaminou uses a form of magic known as Gieredy Darkness, an evolutionary version of dark magic similar to Demonical Darkness that flows through Satoruu's veins.
Ancient legends speak of Greedy Draconess, the boss of a monstrous monster-type dragon, harboring the magic of Gieredy, which when combined with dark magic, is manifested as the great magic used by Kaminou, Gieredy Darkness.
Satoruu's curiosity increased, and he was eager to learn the intricacies of this magic further, but the Demonic Dragon quickly disappeared. Although the Demonic Dragon's soul was within him, it could not be summoned at will. Thus, Satoruu had only a little bit of information, and the remaining puzzles were left in his mind.
On a quiet morning, Yuka had already taken her place in the kitchen, determined to prepare food for Satoruu and Shelina. Before cooking, he tied his hair into a ponytail style, preventing carelessness in his hair.
Deep down, he desperately wanted to give his support to Satoruu in whatever way he could, caring deeply for him. Her greatest desire is to bring happiness into Satoruu's life and, perhaps, even be considered to be his future dream wife.
Satoruu's eyes slowly opened as he woke up from his sleep. Gazing onto the bed, he noticed Shelina, still drowning in a peaceful sleep.
Reluctant to bother him, he decided to leave him undisturbed for now.
Stepping out of his room, he happens to see Yuka being engrossed with her culinary efforts in the kitchen. His sight filled his heart with a deep sense of tranquility.
He longs for this serenity to endure, even in the face of conflicts whose resolution is still uncertain.
As Satoruu enters the kitchen, Yuka welcomes him happily. His radiant smile spoke a lot, bringing immeasurable joy to the two of them.
Their bond, including Shelina, goes beyond mere friendship, it feels similar to a complete family relationship, despite the fact that Shelina is their adopted sister.
With Satoruu and Shelina also ready for breakfast, they invite Saishira and Claire to join them. Fortunately, there is enough food to suit everyone's taste.
However, in the midst of the silent atmosphere, Claire detected an unsettling presence. A faint feeling about something was wrong within him, yet he struggled to pinpoint its source exactly, as if a strange event had slipped from his memory and tried hard to recall it.
It is at this moment of calm that they allow for surveillance of their security.
Yuka, intending to dump the trash in a nearby trash can, suddenly finds herself approached by three masked strangers, their mouths closed.
Shouts came out from Yuka's lips, instantly attracting the attention of the others. Watching Yuka being kidnapped by the three, Satoruu's anger surges, prompting him to draw his sword and launch an attack. However, his attack is deftly fended off by the second kidnapper.
The kidnappers shut Yuka's mouth tightly, silencing the screams further. Reluctantly, they take him away, their evil purpose revealed.
Their journey leads them to an old hut located near a dangerous ravine.
Inside its dilapidated walls, the kidnappers release Yuka into a figure wearing a green jacket, none other than Kaminou himself. It turned out that these three people were hired by Kaminou to carry out the kidnapping.
Kaminou holds Yuka's chin, her malice manifested in an evil grin. "If he's so strong, maybe without you, he'll be weak."
Suddenly, the door of the old hut was forcefully opened, shocking everyone inside. All have arrived, except for Saishira, who remains as absent as her inclination.
However, it was the absence that counts. Strategically positioned behind Kaminou, Saishira immediately launched her assault, obliterating the structure of the hut and freeing Yuka from Kaminou's clutches.
Realizing that only he stood as Kaminou's true rival, Satoruu issued a firm order. He directs everyone to protect Yuka and eliminate the kidnappers, while he personally engages in a duel with Kaminou.
Saishira engages in a fierce battle against the first and most formidable kidnappers, their clash filled with intensity. "Consider this, Satoruu. Using Demonical Darkness magic here would pose a great danger. You know that, right?"
However, the odds are not in their favor. Unbeknownst to them, it was all part of Kaminou's scheming.
An explosion arranged by Kaminou himself shook the hut, leaving everyone severely injured, except for Kaminou who remained unharmed.
"So, you want to play with explosions, huh?" muttered Satoruu, trying to get up despite being seriously injured.
With a unanimous determination, Satoruu changed his grip on the sword several times, finally lifting his blade upwards with his eyes closed. Slowly, as his eyes opened, he started chanting.
..."Limbo, Luxuria, Sugar, Avaritia …."...
Satoruu turned his sword into a reverse grip, bringing his wrist closer to his face. His blade resonated with the magic energy emanating from his hand, aligned with the spell. A purplish-black light enveloped the sword, flashed from the hilt to the tip, as streams of magic aura surged.
In a desperate attempt to stop Satoruu's spell, Kaminou launches a relentless assault. However, to his dismay, Satoruu's speed surged as he chanted a spell, easily fending off each blow with great agility.
His eyes shone with a deep red hue, his focus unshakable as he continued chanting incantations. Gripping his sword tightly, anger seemed to surge in his heart.
The morning sky that had been quiet changed, as if the clouds themselves wanted to release lightning into the earth. The atmosphere around them became dark, although it was still early in the morning.
..."…, Ira, Haeresis, Violentia, Fraus, Perfidia."...
..."Explode."...
Satoruu completed his spell, quickly turning his sword back up. Lightning snatched his sword the moment the spell reached its peak.
Saishira quickly ordered everyone to seek refuge. She conjures a shield of darkness to protect herself and Shelina, while Claire seeks refuge inside her own shield of darkness. Yuka used her magic to create a light shield.
An unimaginably large explosion resounded, unleashing an earthquake that shook all the way to the village of Chavix.
Despite its enormous scale, Saishira, Kaminou, and the others managed to withstand its destructive power, despite requiring considerable energy expenditure to maintain their shields.
Finally, after a terrifying few seconds, the explosion subsided, leaving an unimaginable destruction in its wake.
Their bodies were damaged and depleted, all of them lying in a severe condition, their energy was drained away. Kaminou, who was both battered, took the opportunity to escape, leaving behind her comrades.
The three kidnappers, who had no means to install protective shields, apparently met their end after the explosion.
Saishira gathers the last vestiges of her powers, allowing her to rise with Claire. They surveyed after the destruction, contemplating the almost catastrophic impact that the Demonical Darkness magic had unleashed, without even using it directly.
With tired footsteps, they approached Satoruu, who was lying unconscious after he used the explosive skill. However, just as they were about to reach it, the ground trembled slightly.
A hairline crack appeared under Yuka's feet, very close to the edge of the abyss. In a tragic turn of events, the ground succumbs to the pressure, collapsing under its weight and making it fall into a gaping abyss.
"Yuka!!" saishira shouted, her instincts pushing her to save him.
However, luck proved to be unkind, as he arrived late. Yuka had disappeared into the depths of the abyss, even though it was not too deep.
