The night was rolling, but his pair of eyes were still reluctant to be closed, the flash of events this afternoon was still playing around in his memory of asking unanswered questions. She knew that it was not just what Damaresh had explained to her, but she chose to believe it because she deserved her unconditional obedience as a wife.
But this is what happens when the logic cannot take everything for granted without a reason
to his satisfaction, he fell into a disturbing curiosity and drove away the drowsiness that should have been at this hour warmly in the humming of the goddess of the night that led him to the dream.
How many times the prayer before going to bed he recited, and how many times he also chanted the prayer he was kicked at the bottom of his soul, but the drowsiness was still reluctant to approach and even tend to stay away.
Prunes
Suddenly a shattering object sounded like it was coming from the second floor, Aura immediately sat down from her lying position staring around questioningly.
And out of nowhere came his courage, the girl immediately came out of the room and quickly now her feet had climbed one by one the thick velvet-lined stairs leading to the upper floor.
Climbing the second floor of the magnificent house, Aura turned her head to the left to find the source of the voice that was now no longer heard, and when she saw a room whose door was slightly opened, Aura immediately approached and turned her head to look at the atmosphere in the room that was illuminated by the dim lights.
There was a glass falling on the floor and breaking apart along with the blackish liquid that was probably a drink, he said,
Arrgggh
A loud groan from inside the room that suddenly made Aura push the door open wide, looked someone who was laying his head on the table between the piles of paper that some were also scattered on the floor.
"Aresh," Aura touched the man's shoulder slowly as she called out.
"Get out!" soon Damaresh let out a loud snapping sound.
"Aresh, it's me-"
"I said get out! who let you in here!" Damaresh raised his head and looked at the girl sharply. Anger is not only clearly reflected in the dense netra that looks shiny even on the overall look of his face that looks hardened.
"A-I-" Aura became nervous.
"I'm just worried about hearing things break just now, I'm worried there's nothing-"
"Nothing, now get out!"
Aura shuddered with the rude speech, not believing that the man who in the last few hours always clasped his hands in the car all the way home until he got home, now it was snapping at him violently even with a gaze that implied as if he was a stranger.
But instead of feeling afraid, Aura was more worried about seeing the situation. From the bottom of his heart Aura can feel that something is happening in Damaresh who certainly does not want to be seen or known by others.
"You okay, Aresh?"
"You didn't hear what I said!?"
Damaresh raised the volume of his voice so that
produced a gripping atmosphere in the room.
"A-I-" Aura became shocked and nervous.
"Don't interfere with what's none of your business,
get out!!" Damaresh again snapped violently.
The man was not expecting his presence. Aura's fear was eroded with the awareness to "know self" and read the situation that was now not on her side, Aura immediately turned around and rushed quickly to get out, but it turns out his steps are not as smooth as his intention to
get out, when Cress..
Aura restrained along with the broken glass that pierced her feet, the girl was in a daze because of the pain that felt slashing, her hands immediately reached the end of the table to hold the weight of her body that almost fell.
The aura sat on the floor with the sound of hiss holding back the pain, blood splattered from the soles of his feet making the girl's face paled.
Aura clenched her eyes tightly to gather strength to step out of the room again, but suddenly felt someone lift up her body sitting on the floor, before Aura fully realized what was happening, she, his body now feels floated in the right head position leaning on the chest of Damaresh who raised it ala bridal style led him out of the room to another room which is also on the same floor.
Damaresh rests Aura on a very soft king-size bed in a room dominated by dark gray. Moments later, Damaresh left him without a word before coming back with the medicine box in his hand. Damaresh grabbed Aura's injured foot on her palm and placed it on her lap before starting to clean the bloody wound that was there.
It did not take long when Aura saw that her feet were wrapped in gauze and no longer felt sore. Aura inched about to wake up, but Damaresh held back with her hand.
"Stay here!"
The man himself was out of the room for quite a long time, until he came again when Aura almost fell asleep because the atmosphere of the room was so comfortable plus the time that was almost reached midnight.
Damaresh threw himself beside Aura, the girl immediately turned to look at him.
"Aresh I'm sorry, for my sassness earlier,"
"Why not sleep?"
Damaresh asked another.
The aura shook weakly.
"Do your feet hurt?"
"No."
"Then go to sleep!"
The sight of Damaresh closing his eyes made Aura do the same. Silence rippled between the two for quite a long time, as if they were now both lulled into a deep sleep, but not for Damaresh, in fact, the man was traveling decades ago, a time when he was a witness
father and mother's last quarrel.
The flasback
Damaresh stood there, everything he heard, everything he saw was more powerful than the thunderbolt that hit his soul, the thirteen-year-old felt his body stiff. Claudya who had only realized her existence only glanced at the very edge of her eyes before proceeding a step towards her room, unaware of what kind of wound she had inflicted in the soul of her only son, without even realizing what kind of wound she had inflicted, a wound that made her feel no need for a mother in her life.
"Young master, let's go to the room, it's time for the young master to rest!" Dirga guided his young master back up the stairs to his room, two steps Damaresh followed, but the man ran to finish the last ladder and continued to run out of the mansion.
"Where are you going?" Dirga ran after.
"I'm going to catch up with daddy." Damaresh headed to the car garage and immediately climbed one of the rows of cars lined up there.
"I will drive, young master!" Dirga immediately took over sitting at the wheel.
"I need it fast!" snapped Damaresh.
"I will be quick," Dirga insisted and he fulfilled his master's wish of driving the red car away at high speed leaving the mansion while Damaresh sat beside him with a sharp gaze.
But the pace of sports cars must be stopped when emblazoned with a car accident in front of them.
"Ahead there was an accident, young master,"
"That's a daddy's car," the observant Damaresh was soon able to recognize a black car overturned by a road not far in front of the two. The man got out of the car and ran over.
"Daddy!" damaresh's cry immediately shrill to see the figure of the father who was spattered with blood with the position of the body almost crushed by the wheels of his own car.
according to eyewitnesses, the single accident happened exactly ten minutes ago, when the car seemed to have lost control before it finally hit a large tree on the side of the road and overturned.
flasback off
Arghh.
Damaresh shouted briefly and immediately sat down with a face drenched in sweat.
"Aresh, are you having a nightmare?"
Aura rubbed the face of the man who was still sculpting after that piece of memory took his soul back.
"I haven't slept yet,"
"Then what happened? why are you yelling?"
Damaresh shook his head with a blank look.
Aura turned to look at the nightstand where there was a glass of drink there, the girl immediately shuffled to grab it and give it to Damaresh.
"Drink first! just so you can calm down,"
Damaresh said he immediately drank the drink until the toilet.
Aura rubbed gently on Damaresh's shoulder. "You okay?"
Damaresh nodded and sighed softly.
"What should I tell you?"
"What is your burden, share it with me!"
Damaresh smiled wryly at the remark, saying,
"I know, maybe I won't fully understand, and with that your burden won't completely go away either, but at least I can help you feel calmer, Aresh," said Aura softly.
"Lay back next to me, Arra!"
Damaresh looked at the girl.
Aura nodded, she immediately helped the man to re-break his body and Aura lay right beside him. Aura even wrapped her body facing Damaresh and wrapped her arms around the man's chest.
"Just tonight, at this hour, just twelve years ago, my father had an accident."
There was a soft word from Damaresh that made Aura flinch.
"It's still very imprinted in your memory?" Aura grabs Damaresh's hand and grabs him, to give the man strength over a memory that must have given him a deep wound.
"Yes, right at that moment, I should have been a couple of years, too,"
"That means tonight, too, is your birthday, Aresh?"
Damaresh.
"Let's celebrate your birthday, Aresh,"
"Having my birthday is like celebrating my father's accident" Damaresh said in a heavy voice.
"Let's make a pilgrimage to his tomb, we pray together there," Aura asked.
"My father is alive."
"A-What? ma-saf Aresh, I think-"
Aura immediately felt very uncomfortable with it.
"My father is still alive today, but a life that no longer recognizes anyone" Damaresh said.
"You mean?"
Damaresh shook his head, there were no more words he could say, no more stories he could continue, because all his sentences only stopped in his throat.
"Is that the color, you can't forget all that?"
"More than that, Arra. The fact that was behind the accident that made me feel sick, very sick, and untreatable until now" said Damaresh.
Aura now slowly understood the deep pain that Damaresh felt deep in the recesses of his soul. The pain that may have shaped his personality and his mindset about the life he lived.
"What can I do to treat all of Aresh?" aura asked based on what she felt, which was a deep concern for Damaresh.
"Nobody can treat Arra!"
"There's got to be a way, Aresh,"
"No," refused Damaresh loudly.
"Maybe not for now, but one day for sure, Insha-allah," said Aura confidently, Damaresh just stared at him with no expression, although in fact his heart was very doubtful of what Aura said, but behind it all, his heart was also asking why he believed to tell a little of his soul burden to the girl who was lying next to him.
"Sleep, Aresh!"
Aura said with a pair of eyes that already felt heavy for resisting sleepiness.
"Yes, we're sleeping" said Damaresh and immediately closed his eyes but his hand grabbed Aura's hand and held it tightly over his chest.
"I'm sorry, I was yelling at you" he said.
"I've forgiven you without asking" Aura said with a smile.
"Thank you,"
Both of them moved to dreamland by linking hands to bring a sense of peace in togetherness.
Hopefully this is a good start for everything.

"Where are you going?"
damaresh's question was quite surprising for Aura who was stepping slowly to get out of the room.
"You work,"
"Not work today! you're sick" Damaresh broke up as he stepped inside his room to grab his laptop and prepared to leave for the office this morning.
"My feet are fine, Aresh. Look I can already walk by putting my feet up, everything is fine," Aura said convincingly as she set her feet up many times quite hard on the floor. The girl really wanted to work today, after yesterday Damaresh banned her from the office because of her shard-pierced leg.
Damaresh. "No, you need to rest until your legs are fully recovered."
"Aresh, my legs have recovered. If I don't work today-"
"Don't argue Arra!"
"But I'm not comfortable being home alone" said Aura, hoping to be granted.
"There is Dirga, who will serve all your needs well,"
"Not that!"
"Then?"
"I'm also not comfortable in not seeing you all day" Aura said quickly.
Damaresh looked at him for a moment without a word, after which the man turned his steps towards the bed and took off his suit following his tie and the interior of his vest.
"What do you want?" asked Aura nervously.
The girl had been thinking about seeing Damaresh take off her work attributes even now she had also removed one button after another.
"Today I won't go to the office either, I'll be here, so you can see me" Damaresh said.
Aura lowered her head while holding a smile.
"You smile, just smile! no one is forbidden,"
Damaresh.
Aura looked up at him and revealed a perfect smile. "I have Aresh's smile, you too yes" Aura's hooked pinta saw Damaresh's beautiful smile.
Damaresh glanced at Aura with the tip of her eyes, and her beautiful smile rose on her lips.
Aura wanted to jump for her excitement.
