"I don't want to die fast, Aresh," said Aura as she closed her eyes tightly.
"At least we can die together" Damaresh said.
Haa..The sentence sounded sweet and beautiful, and could calm Aura from her overwhelming worry, until now she no longer fussed, but chose silence and tried to put everything aside, for whatever happens later. But his eyes were still unwilling to open,
for there is only horror when he looks at the streets ahead.
For how Aura would not stir up trouble
death by driving the above normal Damaresh.
The distance from Probolinggo-Surabaya on public roads is 107.51-km or 66.66 miles, which is to pass that distance at the speed of the vehicle
80/km per hour, it takes about an hour, but in traffic conditions now, normally it can be reached within one hour and forty-five minutes to arrive in the city of Surabaya.
But Damaresh only passed him no less than forty minutes by driving a successful way to make the heart of Aura seem to stop beating.
"Open your eyes Arra! we've arrived,"
"really?" Aura opened her eyes slowly and blinked a few times.
"We've arrived?" He asked as if he could not believe it.
But to deny how, the view of his house is now clearly displayed in front of his eyes.
The luxurious Damaresh car lands perfectly in
the home page is very simple.
"Alhamdulillah, O Allah, do not die" Aura said, rubbing her face.
Damaresh looked at him while pulling the corner of her lips faintly. The man then shifted his body closer to Aura. Getting closer and
so close that his warm breath
feel clearly by Aura. Damaresh then lowered his head.
"What do you want?" tanya Aura was nervous, her mind had already wandered everywhere.
"Take off your seatbelt."
And the two hands of Damaresh immediately did as he said just now, after the seatbelt had slipped from Aura, Damaresh again distanced his body and got out of the car.
After taking a deep breath to normalize his heart beat that was as pounding as a night of sitting, Aura also immediately got out of the car.
And how surprised Lukman was when he opened the front door of his house and saw who was standing before him now.
The drowsiness that was still very controlling despite being forced to step to open the door after knocking many times, immediately disappeared already after knowing who came to visit these nights.
Even the face of his pillow immediately turned into a smile-clad cheer because the child and daughter-in-law who came.
They only talked for about twenty minutes before Lukman immediately invited his special guest to rest, because the night had reached the top.
"If you're gonna take a shower, I'm gonna get some warm water, okay?"
Aura cut off the awkwardness created between the two with her question. The reason, Damaresh looked at him fixedly without a word when the girl came out of the bathroom was very simple in his room with a face wet with water ablution. The naturally beautiful Aura's face looked so radiant in the view of Damaresh.
"No need," refused Damaresh, shaking his head.
"Then I want to pray 'isya first, it has not been time. Or we pray together, so I'll wait for you." Aura looked at Damaresh with a smile, hoping that her offer would be accepted by the man.
"You go" said Damaresh and quickly walked into the bathroom.
Aura sighed disappointed in her heart, one desire after marriage that until now has not been implemented, namely performing congregational prayers with her husband. But apparently for now, Aura had to suppress her desire first deeply.
Damaresh sat in a single chair beside the bed checking his phone, his handsome face looking very fresh after taking a shower.
The aura that had just finished praying 'isya immediately approached and grabbed Damaresh's hand, kissing her.
"Sorry, I forgot," Aura said with a smile.
In the pesantren earlier, when he saw Damaresh, Aura forgot to perform the obligatory ritual because
I was surprised by the presence
Damaresh was suddenly there.
"Just remember after an hour" said Damaresh.
"Are you going to sleep in the front room?" ask Aura later.
"You kicked me out?" Damaresh looked at him carefully.
"No, I'm afraid you're uncomfortable sleeping here" Aura said quickly.
"I don't think it's a bad idea if I sleep here, too,
do you mind, Arra?"
"Ti-No." Aura shook her head quickly along with her heart that started beating twice as fast.
"I'll sleep here, but you go to bed first! I still need to finish something,"
"All right,"
Aura immediately inched up onto her bed that was not as wide and not as tender as in the house of Damaresh. The girl caught her breath, read the prayer and began to close her eyes, But no matter how much time passed, and how tightly her pair of eyes clenched, Aura had not yet reached her sleep, but her body felt very tired
he should have flown straight into dreamland.
As the bed moved, Aura slowly turned her head, seeing that Damaresh had laid down her body not far beside her.
"Why not sleep?" asked the man, but he did not look at Aura, but he knew that the girl next to him was still quietly looking at him.
"I'm going to sleep,"
"Sleep! if you have bad luck tomorrow, I'll stay!" Damaresh poses little threat.
"It's okay, so I can be satisfied to let go of my longing for my father" said Aura.
Damaresh looked at Aura.
"So this isn't the right threat, is it?"
"That's how." Smiling aura.
Damaresh returned his body to position
at first, it seemed that staring at the ceiling of the room was more pleasant to him than staring at the face of Aura lying beside him.
"So I met Akhtar?" ask Damaresh suddenly.
" Yes, he was the MC of the show,"
"It seems you guys have a chance to talk too,"
"You know what?" The aura looked astonished.
"I saw it" said Damaresh.
When he decided to stay in the car in the boarding school, Damaresh saw Aura talking to Akhtar before two of Aura's friends came.
"Yes, he just greeted me and apologized for being too quick to accuse me, she said."
Aura stared at Damaresh for a moment, there was no response from the man. "He is married and his wife
she is pregnant now" Aura continued.
Still no response from Damaresh, he has not even changed his sleeping position. His eyes are still open as well.
Aura changed the course of the conversation.
"Ask me!"
"I know that Mr. Alarick was her husband Sheriin, my best friend, but we never knew Mr. Alarick was your uncle."
"Yes, he's grandfather's youngest son,"
"Sherin doesn't seem to know that either, but they
married for more than two years."
"There must be a reason why Alarick didn't tell his wife that" Damaresh said.
"So, your extended family doesn't know Sherin's whereabouts either?"
thought Aura, she had the same fate as her best friend who was married to one of Willyam's families, but her whereabouts were unknown to Willyam Pramudya's extended family.
Do the men in Willyam's extended family really like to get married secretly?
"They don't know where Alarick is either
now," said Damaresh
"What! why would that be?" asked Aura astonished.
"Om Alarick left the Willyam family fifteen years ago,"
"Huh? Why would that be?" Again. The aura was further made astonished.
"One thing I can't tell you, Arra."
Damaresh remains determined that he has not been able to share his complicated family story with anyone else, even himself just wanted to bury in the story of his family who had incised a deep wound in his heart, but in fact all the wounds he had experienced were very deep in researching his soul, it has even shaped her personality, and changed her outlook on love and marriage. Until these two things become something that he really wants to avoid.
But who would have thought, if the consequences of his own game actually made him trapped in marriage with girls
who was now lying beside her, the girl who had a very different way of looking at herself about a marriage.
(The difference between Aresh and Arra's view of marriage is in part 10, for those who have not read it, you should read it first, in order to understand the storyline more fully)
Back to Aresh and Arra.
"Aresh, someday if you need a place to tell a story, I will always be ready to listen to you" Aura said sincerely from her deepest heart.
"When?"
"Yes, anytime," Aura insisted.
Damaresh changed his body position by sleeping sideways facing Aura. "You sure you're gonna last long next to me?" his question.
Which makes Aura momentarily silent with the question that seems to contain a broad meaning stored, but Aura does not want to guess which will only corner her to disguised prejudice. Aura chose focus only to answer what was asked
"Yes, Insha-Allah" replied Aura.
"You'll survive, no matter what?"
ask Damaresh with a deep look.
"Yes. Unless you're the one who kicked me out of your life," Aura broke up.
Damaresh pulled the two corners of her lips, forming a beautiful smile.
"You smile again, Aresh. I like to see it,"
Aura looked at the man with sparkling eyes.
"Your words are the reason I smile."
"So your smile is for me?" Aura still asked because of the flowery heart.
"Is there anyone else here, other than us?"
Aura shook her head without letting go of her smile.
"Sleep, it's late!" Damaresh rubbed the head of Aura briefly, it really made the girl's heart so cool, even her pair of eyes instantly clenched tightly with a smile that was still lying on her ranum lips. This was a very sweet moment for Aura.
Aura almost fell asleep towards the dream, when one hand of Damaresh hugged her slender waist tightly.
Aura immediately turned her head, it turned out that the handsome face was very close beside her, there was no longer any distance between the two.
"You mind?" the man asked in a hoarse voice.
"Ti-No. You have rights over me" said Aura.
"Even if I'll do more?" Damaresh stared at Aura intensely, while Aura painstakingly avoided direct eye contact with Damaresh, because the pounding of his heart did not want to be compromised.
"Yes" said Aura.
"I know you'll never turn me down, Arra.
Because it's one of the principles of marriage that you embrace.
right?"
Aura nodded feeling the thump of her heart that seemed to be getting too bumpy.
"But I will not do injustice to you" Damaresh said later.
"You mean?"
"I can get what I'm supposed to get from you, but you can't get what you're supposed to get from me, isn't that unfair to you?"
Aura immediately fell silent, her lips tightly shut, there was nothing more she could say after hearing Damaresh's words.
Cup
Damaresh kissed the soft Aura's forehead.
"We're sleeping!" invite him who immediately got approval from Aura.
The goddess of the night led them together to dreamland. Now what is seen is the handsome face of Damaresh who fell asleep quietly while holding his wife, and the face of Aura who fell asleep peacefully in the arms of her husband.
It's sweet, isn't it? Even too sweet.
