My Life with the CEO

My Life with the CEO
93. But I'm curious

In the morning Diana woke up in Andrew's arms. Her desire to accompany Lia at the hospital is void as both Andrew and Jason force her to go home. This time the two men were so compact. They agreed and told him to rest at home and leave Lia to expert supervision. Jason promises to look after Lia.

There is doubt within Diana, leaving Lia on the watchful eye of the newly-acquainted Jason. But when Briant came, Diana began to breathe a sigh of relief. Prayer certainly believes in Briant more than Jason.

Diana got out of Andrew's arms and saw the clock on the wall still showing at five in the morning. It's too early to call Briant to ask Lia.

His eyes could no longer be closed. Diana came out of her room and went downstairs. The lights of the room were still on, some of the servants who had started their work nodded respectfully to Diana. The woman smiled back at them.

He walked towards the side yard about to straighten his body on the sofa near the pool while enjoying the morning air. He just broke his body. Butler Jhon has come in with a glass of warm milk.

"Thank you." Diana held the warm milk in her hand out.

"Today there will be a special servant to prepare all the needs of the mistress and pay attention to your pregnancy."

"Thank You Butler. You've worked hard."

Butler smiled faintly.

"How's Miss Lia doing?" ask Butler Jhon.

"He was conscious but still weak. Is there any progress with lab results?"

"Not yet madam." Butler Jhon is still keeping a secret about Sandra's arrest early this morning. He had to report to Andrew first. Butler Jhon is worried that this news will have a bad effect on the health of his young mistress.

"Don't forget to give me the test results. Oh yeah did you observe that woman?" diana asked enthusiastically.

"Of course, madam. Sandra she's still under observation. You better rest again madam." Butler bowed respectfully as he walked away letting Diana rest.

He had asked the security chief to keep Sandra from Diana a secret. He promised to tell Andrew straight away when he woke up. Not even the servants knew about Sandra's arrest, though they wondered why Jhon's butler ordered Sandra's clothes to be cleaned.

Unconsciously Diana fell asleep back on the garden sofa. The cool morning air brought him back to dreamland. Nanny passes by and sees the sleeping Diana immediately grabbing a thin blanket and covering the mother's body of her foster child.

*****************

The sun began to rise and its rays hit part of Diana's face. The woman opened her eyes waking from sleep.

He immediately got off the sofa near the pool and rushed inside the house, almost having misfortune to prepare breakfast with Andrew and Conrad.

The clock is at nine in the morning. Conrad must have gone to school. While trying to find Andrew, Diana saw his figure walking hurriedly with butler Jhon towards the security house.

Seeing the tense look on Andrew's face made him wonder what was going on. Despite that she undoes her intention to follow them and turns towards the kitchen.

In the kitchen Diana finds a cheft named Paul.

"Paul, have you seen Sandra?"

"No madam." replied Paul.

Another servant who happened to be there heard Diana's question to Paul.

"From yesterday we didn't find Sandra, madam. It's not usually. But butler Jhon ordered us to fix Sandra's clothes" the maid said.

Diana frowned.

"Mad please have breakfast first." Paul offered a plate of omlet with a slice of beef bacon as well as potato wedges.

Diana enjoyed the food with no focus, just put protein into her body for the needs of the baby in the womb. His mind floated as he watched Andrew go towards the security house with a tense face.

Without finishing her meal Diana rushed towards the security house. He recalled how he had told Butler Jhon to watch Sandra.

When they got there at the security house, no one dared to block Diana's move inside. Inside Diana, looking through the large glass through the interrogation room, Andrew was sitting with a tense face before a woman who was kneeling and crying sobbing.

"Sandra." Diana's voice was choked. Heart's pounding. He turned towards butler Jhon and the head of the bodyguard looking for answers.

From their point of view he could guess that his suspicions turned out to be true. The instincts of pregnant women are more sensitive.

"You have to take responsibility for what you did. I'll send you to jail." said Andrew coldly.

"I'm sorry sir. I have a child who is still in school and an old mother. Forgive me sir." the woman begged for mercy while putting her hands on her head and kissing the ground begging for forgiveness.

Diana was about to go inside, but Butler Jhon prevented her.

"Mrs let Mr. Andrew finish it."

"Butler, is it true that he deliberately poisoned Lia?" diana asked with restraining emotions.

Butler Jhon and the head of the guard were silent. They are afraid that telling the truth will make their mistress shaken and affect her pregnancy which is still in the early stages.

"But why, is Lia wrong?" diana's half-screeching voice rang out into the room that was not tightly closed.

Andrew's face stiffened. While the woman in front of him screeched, "Mrs help me. I am not guilty. I'm framed. I'm sorry madameaaa." shouted Sandra inside.

"No madam, don't be affected. Trust in sir." Butler Jhon dared to touch Diana's hand.

Everyone must have a reason.

"alright. I'm gonna get out of here. And I need an explanation for everything." Diana left the interrogation room.

*********************

Diana waited for Andrew in the living room. It was almost over forty minutes long. She flipped through the sheets of the mother and baby magazines without being able to focus.

Her desire to know what exactly happened with Sandra far outweighs her obligation to go to the hospital.

"Lia, how are you?" diana finally decided to contact Lia first.

"I've been much better. But brother, come here quickly. This fruit fly needs to be silenced."

"Be friendly to him. He's the one who picked you up, took you and looked after you in the hospital."

"Ahhhh just come here fast."

"good. Fine."

Diana smiled, her sister looking fine. Although his voice was still weak it seemed that his energy was starting to fill up.

By then, Andrew had arrived.

"Andrew, what happened. What about Sandra. You're gonna take him to the police? Is that necessary?" Diana leaned in with various questions as Andrew even approached.

"I'm hungry" Andrew said regardless of Diana's question. He walked through Diana while directly holding her hand.

They walked to the dining room. Diana let Andrew eat his lunch without asking a single question. He patiently waited for the man to finish his meal.

"I can't believe you still have patience waiting for me." Andrew chuckled at Diana's bent face holding back the upset that Andrew had deliberately eaten slowly.

"Don't you worry about that waitress. You don't have to worry."

"Is it true, he deliberately put in the medicine that made Lia sick?"

Andrew nodded.

"But why? Even Lia had not had the chance to meet him. Is..." Diana was silent for a moment.

"Is that drink supposed to be for me?" ask her with a shudder.

Andrew looked at Diana softly and touched the woman's hand before him.

"You don't have to think about that. Now concentrate on the good. Are you trying to stress our baby out?"

Diana remained silent. It's true what Andrew said but his curiosity was also strong.

"But I'm curious." he said.

"The woman accidentally put laxatives into the drink. And right now as a punishment I took him out of this house and hired him to another part."

"Ooo. I must apologize to him for prejudging him."

"He's gone. You don't have to feel sorry for him. I don't like him for not respecting you."

Andrew continued firmly.

Diana was silent she finally complied.

"Let's see Lia at the hospital to make you calmer."

"Bring first."

"Of course." Andrew lifted Diana in his carry.

"Andrew put me down, it's getting heavier" Diana said worriedly.

"You need to add protein to your body. Your body is still light as it used to be."

"Don't hurt me. You know I don't stop chewing." Indeed, since knowing her pregnancy instead of vomiting when nausea, she actually ate something to relieve nausea.

" But you're still light." Andrew chuckled while still carrying Diana in his carriage up the stairs and led them into the main bathroom.
