My Life with the CEO
Obviousness

The night of his day. After finishing dinner with Caroline and Francesca, Conrad went into his room as Caroline had instructed.

The woman reasoned, if she had an encounter with someone. The man who wants to invest in his vineyard. Caroline promised to come home at night and tomorrow would take Conrad and Francesca for a walk.

Conrad, who felt lonely for doing nothing, walked around the house. He wondered why this big house had only two servants. The female servant who took care of Francesca at once cleaned the entire house and the big man who always guarded the gate.

Conrad went back upstairs and looked at Francesca's room. There she finds that the nanny is brushing her hair lovingly, while singing a melodious song.

Their activities were halted when Conrad entered. They looked at Conrad with great attention. Conrad could feel an aura of doubt from the radiance of their eyes.

"I just want to spend time with you. I feel lonely here. Can I be friends with you?" ask Conrad slowly.

Lena looked at him for a moment before finally continuing her singing and combing Francesca's hair.

"Aunt Lena, why is this house so quiet?" Conrad asked at last.

Lena fell silent.

"Are you really Miss Caroline's son?" Ask Lena back.

"That's what he said."

"How can you believe it?"

"He's showing evidence of DNA testing."

"Ah.. Surely you are happy to meet your real mother." Questions from Lena. The woman noticed Conrad's face turning softly.

"I don't know, should I be happy?"

"You're not happy? But why?"

"All this is so sudden. There's another woman, my father's wife, she's so gentle and loving to me. She always took care of me and never forgot my needs. But she's not my real mother." Conrad said in despair.

Lena and Francesca looked at each other.

"You love your father's wife?" ask Lena to investigate.

Conrad nodded.

"There's my little brother too. I can now feel how much I miss them. They always make me feel like a part of the whole family. But, mommy Caroline she's..." Conrad was confused by the sentence he had to say.

He held back his sentence as well, fearing that his words were being misinterpreted by Francesca and Lena. Francesca is Caroline's son. And he's a one-sister with Conrad.

"Why are you here, why do you have to follow Miss Caroline. Go back to your family. They'll make you happier. You shouldn't let go of a mother who loves you so much, even if you're not her flesh and blood." Said Lena in a fiery manner.

Conrad looked at them in wonder, why they didn't want him here. How unhappy are they with his presence in this place?

"You guys just calm down. I won't grab the attention of mommy Caroline from Francesca. I won't take anything from this place either."

"You misunderstood, son, that's not what we meant. Look at this room, can't you see something strange?" Lena.

Conrad looked once more around Francesca's room. From the beginning he felt something strange, but he did not know what it was. Then Conrad touched Francesca's rough bedsheet. He looked at Lena in surprise.

"Women are very selfish. This plantation was Francesca's, but she didn't even pay attention to her biological children and used the estate's money just to live up to her lavish lifestyle." Continue Lena with a fiery.

There Conrad could see the big difference. The room was very beautiful and spacious. Hairy carpets decorate the floor. Bed linen with best quality. Not to mention a closet full of luxury clothes and shoes and bags lined up. It was inversely proportional to Francesca's room.

Conrad looked pityfully at the boy, Francesca. She didn't understand how Caroline could be so happy. Francesca's fate was worse.

"Is Francesca not her real child?" Ask Conrad astonished.

"It may make sense that this little girl is not the woman's biological child. But in fact, I saw for myself how she gave birth to Francesca." Lena said with a wistful.

Conrad became very guilty of Diana. That woman was a really good mother to her. When shopping, she prioritizes her needs and Aaron above her needs.

Now the biological mother who he thought was an extraordinary woman and was hurt, turned out to behave like this towards her daughter. Conrad suddenly felt that he was only being used.

The car stopped and the gate opened. Caroline has arrived. They hurriedly came out of the woman's room. From the upstairs window, Lena could see if she was drunk again.

"Hurry into your room, don't open the door no matter how she knocks on it." Lena warned.

Conrad then saw how Francesca got into the wardrobe by hugging her doll. He could see the frightened look on the boy's face. Conrad was confused as to why it could be like this.

Back with her eyes she saw Lena telling her to leave. Conrad immediately entered his room next to Francesca's. He locked the door tightly.

*

Caroline entered the house staggered. He was already half drunk, having enjoyed a wonderful night with Theodore. Actually the woman still wanted to stay with Theodore, but there seemed to be an urgent matter so the man drove Caroline home early.

And Caroline was upset about it. Staggered he went upstairs, entered his room. He took off his shoes and threw the bag in a directional drift.

Caroline then headed to the alcoholic beverage storage cabinet. Pour a glass of red wine, tune the music and drink it slowly.

He poured wine in his empty glass. Sipping the wine while dancing to the music.

The third glass is empty. And the last pouring in his fourth glass. Caroline staggered to look at herself in front of the mirror.

"I'm still beautiful and charming. I'll get you Andrew! I'll get all the men I want! I will not lose to anyone! I won't lose to you either!" Show Caroline on her own reflection.

Caroline then finished her last glass once upright.

"I must warn Francesca, don't ruin my plans."

The woman then stepped towards Francesca's room. He closed the door to Francresca's room, unfortunately not very close.

"Francesca where you darling. Mommy wants to talk to you, baby." Caroline opened the blanket on the bed and did not find the little girl.

Then he looked down under the cover. Blank. Looking to the bathroom, empty.

"I told you to stay in this room. But he didn't listen to me. You should be taught a lesson." Caroline poked with emotion.

Caroline was about to come out of the room, when she heard faintly sobs. Caroline came back and looked for the origin of the sound. Then his eyes fell on the locked cupboard. Caroline's hand stretched out to touch the handle of the closet door.
