The rain poured with a rush on the burial ground that began to be quiet. Luxury black cars have been transporting their owners away who come only as a symbol of socialization on the burial ground.
The flowers above the cemetery began to be scattered carried by the flow of water and strong wind. Some of the remaining mourners began to leave Andrew alone still staring at the mound of earth in front of him.
The handsome man paid no heed to the heavy rain that flushed even though a bodyguard was still paddling himself but the raindrops still drenched the black suit he was wearing. While Briant faithfully stood a meter behind Andrew.
Andrew took a breath and exhaled it slowly, he wanted to release all of his burden and let the wind as well as the rain water take him away. Go with all the burdens and stretch your way to happiness
Still he vividly remembered a moment ago when the crate was lowered and the priest chanted a prayer and began to sow flowers.
He was reluctant to be the first to sow flowers despite his having to do so.
All eyes looked at him. Some blasphemed her presence in that place and others were the eyes of the women who were hoping for the position of Knight mistress that had opened. But he doesn't care. Even he did not heed the pleasantries of mourners who said condolences. The same hall with him does not care about the rain that flushes.
After quite satisfied staring at the grave ground, Andrew stepped away from the place with light steps. Although the sun had not shone brightly in his life but at least an obstacle had vanished.
FLASHBACKS
A gripping night. Andrew and Lia were standing guard next to Diana. Although agitated, the two men still tried to calm down. They just pray in their hearts.
The clock is rolling, indicating that the critical period of Diana will be over soon. In a few moments, even though the woman is unconscious, the critical period will be over.
Thirty minutes before the time was set, it appeared that Doctor Bell and several senior doctors entered the room and examined Diana.
While Andrew and Lia just daoat hope anxiously waiting for doctors who are busy doing action.
At that moment of uneasiness, Jason came back and gave support. Jason massaged Lia's shoulder from behind. The busy man somehow always took his time and appeared beside Lia especially at important moments. For Lia he was both a friend as well as a helper god.
Time rolled on and the doctor was done with their observation. Doctor Bell and the other doctors approached them.
"Mrs Diana's condition has stabilized. The critical period is over. At this time there is a recovery process that we must monitor so that he quickly realized" said dr. Bell smiled at her calm smile.
Finally twenty-four hours of critical time had passed. Andrew and Lia could breathe a sigh of relief. One by one things started to improve. The healing process is in sight.
Andrew immediately approached Diana and clasped the woman's hand.
"You heard, honey, your situation has improved. You must be strong and recover soon. Aaron and I need you. Quickly wake up baby, I miss the look in your eyes, your smile, your caress let alone your reprimand" said Andrew holding Diana's hand.
The man then lay his head on the side of Diana's body and placed the woman's hand on her head.
"I miss everything about you. I'd even eat the tempeh of the spiked penyet if you wake up soon." said Andrew while recalling the time Diana punished him.
Lia looked at them with tears in her eyes. At that time Briant entered with Grisella.
"How's Diana doing?" ask Briant on Lia's side. The girl turned her head and immediately immersed herself in Briant's embrace.
"My sister has improved, her critical period is over" Lia said in her sobs.
Briant let the girl cry in her arms while patting her shoulder slowly.
Whether they realize it or not, there is a murderous look from Jason and a disappointed look from Grisella. But both men chose to remain silent.
Just then, suddenly a bodyguard came and whispered something to Briant. The man became tense.
She lets go of Lia's embrace and guides the girl to the sofa by Grisella's side, while Briant approaches Andrew and whispers something to him.
The two men came out and headed to the room where Rachel was being treated. Isabella Doris, Agatha and Bertha were there with tense faces. All the equipment on Rachel's body has been removed. And the nurse will move Rachel's body to the other room.
"All because of you, my son died!" hiss Isabella with red eyes and a tense face.
Rachel though not the child she cares about the most, but only Rachel is the richest among her two siblings, because Rachel has the most Briliant brain among them. Rachel really has Bill's nature and prowess.
Andrew ignored their words. At that time the nurse came to him for the process of regristation and burial, because Andrew's employee who registered said that Rachel was Andrew's first wife.
And strangely the three women who from the beginning always blasphemed him, seemed to not care when the nurse came to Andrew for the process of making death letters and so on. As if the family did not spend a penny.
"Rachel will be buried by Bill's side" Isabella said without crying.
The three women still looked cold. No tears trickled down their faces despite their looks of being tired and sad. I don't know what their hearts are made of so that they can control their emotions so much.
"Please arrange everything, madam. Don't worry about hospital costs. I'll bear it." said Andrew.
"Indeed, you're Rachel's husband" Agatha said cynically.
Andrew smiled faintly.
Today he won't dispute anything. But the day is different, because the time comes when Andrew will demand everything.
The police arrive as soon as the hospital contacts and reports Rachel's death. Previously they had received statements from many people, if the shooting action against Rachel was carried out by Bill. Their arrival was merely a formality.
After signing the papers, Andrew left them. Lying if he is not happy and grateful. But she did not want to rejoice when Diana had just passed through a critical period and her consciousness had not yet recovered.
"What's going on?" ask Lia when they get back.
"Rachel had his last breath" Andrew said.
Lia breathed a sigh of relief.
"Am I wrong to be thankful for someone's life?" his question was glittering to himself.
"You're not wrong, she's been a thorn in Diana's life for too long" Grisella said.
Lia looked at Grisella confirming the woman's speech.
"She's a bad woman." sizzled Lia.
"Maybe he was born from the results of crime and died after committing crime" said Lia again shed all resentment in her heart.
"Hey feral cats, stop judging those who are dead. Let him deal with his creator. No one is born a bad person, it all happens because of circumstances and life choices." Jason advised Lia patiently.
Lia nodded confirming Jason's words. "I'm sorry God for judging others" Lia said softly making Jason smile.
While Andrew approached Diana's body which was still lying weak helplessly. He turned his head to Diana's side.
"Honey, the road to our marriage is open, sober up. I want to marry you." said Andrew Lirih.
