Flashbacks
A month ago at Arthur Knight's mansion Andrew's real father.
The middle-aged man was sitting quietly in his study while looking out of the window that showed a beautiful garden. For years he never opened the window of the study and let air in. Yes since the death of his wife, the mother of Andrew twenty-six years ago.
At this moment due to the words of a woman who was very young, began to tickle the door of her heart. The words were always echoed in his ears, "Don't you want to live peacefully together with your grandchildren?"
A granddaughter, something she longed for and dreamed of.
Arthur opened the drawer in the closet and took out a small album to open it sheet by sheet. There are pictures of his happiness, while little Andrew and his wife are still alive.
There is a photo of Andrew naked baby and a photo on his stomach, there is a photo of Andrew sleeping in his arms, there is a photo of Andrew when he first walked, the first time pedaling a bicycle. It's all so funny. Laugh and cheer along with their family togetherness.
But the further he opened the photo sheet, he saw the less often they took pictures together and when the boy was a teenager, the laughter and smiles disappeared. She could not find any photos of her teenage years, college years and receiving any awards that showed her childhood cheerful smile.
There was nothing on the album, except....
Yeah, except for the photo sent by the man who followed Andrew and Diana. There was a smile there, a row of white teeth on display due to his loose laughter. Happy embrace and eyes full of love.
Arthur took the photo. He wants to go back to the time when Andrew was always smiling, hugging himself and calling daddy. But it all seems too late. Her hair was bleached, her skin was wrinkled.
Since the death of his wife, Arthur has led Andrew to become a businessman. He didn't care when Andrew was ten. He let Andrew's days be filled with schools and business meetings. Even when Andrew was only seventeen he already took Andrew to a business night party and let the boy see himself dating women.
Now he regrets, because of his ambition Andrew had to sacrifice further by marrying the son of the Willingthon family. It is no secret that families are cruel. Arthur thinks a business marriage with the beautiful Rachel will also secure Andrew's position.
Too bad, it's all wrong. Andrew was never happy and they were always gnawing at Andrew's position.
"Sir, there's someone looking for you" said a butler.
"Who?" arthur's forehead is wrinkled. It's not usually that he has guests without an appointment first.
"That's. uh. young master and a woman" said the butler.
Arthur jerks. Andrew never set foot in this house again. Now he's here. Not only was Arthur surprised. All the old servants were also happy to know Andrew's presence.
Last time Andrew left this house while arguing with Arthur was because he had to marry Rachel. After that once Andrew came just to visit Arthur who was sick. Not even a word was said at the time.
Arthur steps up gallantly to meet Andrew and Diana. He could see a warm smile engraved on Diana's face while Andrew looked tense.
"Good day, big master." said Diana.
Arthur only nodded his head at Diana.
"What brings you here?" The big master's question was directed at Andrew.
"If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have set foot in this house again." said Andrew coldly.
Diana turned to Andrew and patted Andrew's hand slowly.
"Andrew dear, remember our agreement last night" Diana said with a small smile. Andrew snorted in annoyance. If it wasn't his selfishness last night, he wouldn't be here.
The flash back
For days they debated about the name that would be given to the baby in the womb Diana.
Somehow Diana was so stubborn as to reject all the names given by Andrew.
"I don't want my son to use the first letter A. Why A, there are other letters. My name also starts with D and it's also beautiful" Diana insisted.
"But our first son is a man and He must be on the front row. The letter A is the leader."
"Ah, that's a theory. Briant is not the letter A is also always leading, Jason the letter J is also a businessman." Diana strongly denied.
"But Briant was only doing the job I ordered."
"Jason is not. Obama is also the front letter is not A, Jokowi the front letter is J. Queen Elissabeth is not an A either, but they are all leaders" Diana said.
Andrew at that time really did not understand and drained his emotions to see the attitude of Diana who was suddenly persistent, even though Diana had always been understanding and tended to agree with his wishes.
"I like the front letter A" Andrew exasperatedly said.
"What name do you want for our baby?" diana asked in surprise.
"Aaron. I like that name. Sounds macho." said Andrew with a hopeful smile.
Ah... Diana sighed pretending not to care.
"Dear baby.please name Aaron yes." woo Andrew.
"Stop it.."
"Please..." Andrew really hoped Diana would grant his request. But the woman seemed to be very persistent in refusing and did not care about her request until finally after a long time.
"Well Aaron's not bad either. I agree with Aaron as long as you fulfill my request."
"You sure, anything?" ask Diana again
Andrew nodded.
"I want to go to the big master's house and you make up with your father."
Flash back off
And this was where he was at the moment, clumsyly.
"Great master how are you?" diana asked softly.
"As you can see, I'm still alive" he replied.
"That's the most beautiful gift sir, alive!" diana said softly while emphasizing the word life. That sentence was able to make Arthur turn to him.
"What do you mean you expect me to die?"
"Oh, that's not so, sir. I'm just grateful to be given a chance to live and be here" said Diana with a big smile.
"No, I told you, it's free to be here. He won't be friendly to us" Andrew said resentfully at the attitude of his father, whom he took as cynical to Diana.
"So why are you here if you don't like to see me!" arthur replied with annoyance.
"Hey...Hey. gentlemen who are honored here is a lady, be manly." Diana spoke firmly to the two of them. Father and son are silent. Diana smiled slightly looking at their attitude.
"Great master can I just talk to you?"
Arthur was silent but his eyes glanced at Andrew.
"Alright, I'll leave you both" said Andrew, who was upset to be expelled.
"No Andrew. You stay right here. Look they seem to miss you." Diana said as she pointed to the butler and several other servants peering on the doorstep.
All the servants are old servants who used to accompany Andrew in times of joy and sorrow. They miss Andrew after not meeting for nearly ten years.
Diana stood up from her seat and approached Arthur. He waited for Arthur to stand up and followed him to Arthur's study accompanied by Andrew's eyes.
After their departure, the butler ventured to approach Andrew.
"Young master how are you?"
Andrew turned to the origin of the voice, "Ah butler Markus, sit down. I'm fine you see me now."
"Right, the young master looked happy." Butler Markus sat down in front of Andrew. He could see Andrew change first before marriage, after marriage and now when with the woman.
"Yes, I'm both happy right now and worried."
"What is the burden on your mind, young master?"
"My divorce process seems to be hurting my lover."
"Mrs Rachel and her family aren't easy sir."
"You're right." Andrew leaned his head against the back of the chair. His eyes were staring at the ceiling.
"You must endure for the happiness of those you love." Advice from butler Markus.
"Sir, how's John and Nanny Maria doing."
"Ah yes, I should have brought them here. You haven't seen each other in a long time, have you?" Andrew looked at Mark's butler with a guilty look.
"Perhaps, next time when the great master visits, I'll ask permission to come along."
"How's the old man doing?" andrew's question refers to his father.
"Great master mused a lot lately. He seems to miss you. Especially after going home to meet your lover, the big master often confines himself in the workspace to open the old album."
"Ah, is it true that the old man doesn't insist anymore? He was also one of the people who opposed my divorce." Andrew snorted in annoyance.
"Because at that time the great master was worried about you. Madame Rachel and her father have been here to threaten the great lord if you get divorced, they'll hurt you."
"They're a crazy family! I'm sick of their pressure."
"Initially the great master was affected. But lately he doesn't seem to care. He wants to believe in you."
"God! I didn't think he could change."
Andrew stood up and looked at the photo of the wall where both his parents and his little self were smiling happily.
Andrew walked deeper and deeper followed by Butler Jhon. And just then she heard Diana's screams from the direction in her father's study. Suddenly he immediately ran over with worry and opened the door of the study room violently.
