CHAPTER 40

Bastian continued to curse himself during the trip. He couldn't think clearly of his betrayal hours ago. He misses Kania so much that he vents her to another woman. He felt like a very jerk.

The journey was long enough for Bastian, he could not close his eyes when he was on the plane. Many times the flight attendant told her to rest. But he can't at all. He still felt guilty for what he did behind Kania.

At exactly 1pm, Bastian arrived at the hospital. He went straight to Kania's room. He waited inside, knowing Kania was doing his therapy. Bastian paced back and forth anxiously waiting for the lover he longed for. The sound of the door opening. Bastian sees Kania being pushed in by the sisters using a wheelchair. Emili has not been to the hospital.

Kania had not seen it yet, because the woman was looking down miserably. Maybe because the therapy hasn't worked. Bastian told the sister to shut up with her finger on her lips and told the nurse to leave. The nurse just nodded.

"Is there something down there?" ask Bastian.

Kania was surprised and looked up. He noticed the figure of the man he missed was in front of him. "Conscious Kania, it's just your delusion." he murmured. Bastian heard it when Kania said that.

"Is this handsome guy in front of you just a shadow?" ask Bastian again.

Kania widened her eyes. "Tian.you're really Tian." he said.

Bastian approached her and lowered his head and hugged Kania. Her crying broke, very heartbreaking. Bastian wiped his tears and began to kiss Kania on the face.

"I miss you so much, baby." said Bastian and ended up crying. "I'm sorry, sorry, I'm sorry." he said.

Isakan Kania grew louder and hugged her tightly. "I miss you too. I think it's just a dream. Oh my God, I really miss you." she said in tears.

Bastian raised his cheek and kissed her again, letting go of his longing until they were almost out of breath. Bastian stuck his forehead on Kania's forehead. Both are the same as managing their breath. Bastian kissed Kania's eyes which began to look puffy. Then he took Kania to put her on his bed.

Kania looked at Bastian closely. "I'm still disabled, I haven't succeeded..."

"Sssstttt.." said Bastian shook his head. "You'll be healed. Believe in yourself, baby." she continued. Bastian hugged Kania. "Oh my God, I can't be separated from you."

"Bring me home, I'm already bored at Tian hospital, I spent a lot of money. But results..."

Bastian silenced Kania's lips by kissing her to be quiet. "Don't think about anything, baby, there's only one thing you have to do "Cure". That's all I want, wait 6 months. If there is no result, I promise I will take you home whatever the end result is. I'll accept you if you can never walk again" Bastian said.

Kania is crying again. He is very lucky to get a guy like Bastian Widjaja. "You promised 6 more months" Kania said.

Bastian nodded back to convince Kania. "I promise." she replied. "You haven't had lunch yet, have you? Why are you getting so skinny?"

Kania shakes. "I haven't eaten, I'm thin because I don't want to eat every time I finish therapy. You rest Tian, you just arrived." said Kania.

"I'll rest after you eat." Bastian took the tray of food that had been prepared.

Kania shakes. "You should eat Kania. Otherwise I'll go back to Indonesia right now." threatened Bastian.

Kania pouted and began to open her mouth as Bastian bribed her.

Janeta searches for Bastian at the hotel and is shocked to meet Rafael and Delia. They say Bastian left for America last night. Janeta has seen Bastian's lover. "Last noon." answered Bastian.

Bastian kissed his grandmother's cheek. "Tian didn't want to disturb Grandma, then left grandfather because he wanted to quickly meet Tian."

Bastian chuckles. "But grandpa's healthy, right?"

"Grandmothers are more energetic, even though grandfathers are weak" Bastian told Kania when Emili had left them.
