CHAPTER 31
The journey was quite tiring for Rafael and Bastian to deliver Kania to America. They had been in the air for 16 hours, and finally arrived at John F International Airport. Kennedy they transit there to take care of all kinds of immigration permits and so on. Then they went back to Baltimore Washington. They arrived at Rhurgood Marshall International Airport. It turned out that Emily was already at the airport welcoming them because her grandparents did live in Maryland.
"Grandmother.." cried Bastian while hugging Emili.
"Oh my God, Grandma's favorite grandson" replied Emili welcoming Bastian's embrace.
"Mom.." said Rafael while kissing the back of Emili's hand.
"Son Rafael, you must be tired" replied Emili. Then the old woman looked behind them. There was Kania lying down and immediately got into the ambulance. "So that woman is the future granddaughter-in-law of grandma's?" ask Emili.
"That Tian must have loved him very much, Grandma. Where's grandpa?" ask Bastian.
"Grandfather can't come, you know grandfather can't be tired" replied Emili.
Bastian nodded and helped some nurses raise Kania to the ambulance. "But with grandma, let Tian be in the ambulance." said Bastian.
Rafael nodded and took Emili to his car outside the runway. "We met at Johns Hopkins Hospital" Rafael said. The hospital is where Derry Laros was treated for years.
Bastian nodded and got into the ambulance. Bastian clasped Kania's hand. The woman looked very pale, making Bastian even more afraid. "Is the patient okay?" bastian asked the nurse who picked them up.
The nurse checked the state of Kania and nodded. "The patient is simply exhausted from being long on the master's journey. We will do our best to cure the patient."
"Thank you sister." replied Bastian. He looked back at Kania. "Dear, come back to me. I miss you so much. Forgive my stupidity." he said sadly.
An hour's drive, they arrived at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Doctor George greeted them. There are even neurologists and internal medicine who will deal with Kania until the woman is conscious and ready for bone therapy.
Rafael knows the doctors there, they look very familiar. Rafael asks the best for his son-in-law. Kania was immediately taken to a special ICU room. They are not allowed to enter until the installation of tools on the body Kania completed.
A few hours later the doctor came out of the ICU. They explain the state of the patient's return. "Everything is very stable, we expect Mrs Kania to be conscious after 3 days of treatment here" Dr George said.
The news makes them happy. "Thank you doctor." replied Rafael.
Doctor George and the others left the ICU room. They are not allowed to see patients in the hospital room until they are transferred to the treatment room. Bastian is actually very reluctant to leave Kania. He wanted to be near Kania. But he has to be patient, because the transfer of Kania will be done tomorrow.
"Tian misses grandpa." said Bastian.
"Let's go to the apartment. Grandpa misses you too" replied Emili.
Bastian hesitated to leave the hospital.
"Tian, Kania's been handled well here. Tomorrow we'll be back here. And mami send greetings to you when papi gave it earlier." said Rafael.
Bastian finally nodded and followed the two towards his grandparents' apartment.

"Kania and the others have arrived in America safely ma'am" Delia told Rosa.
"Thank God, you saved them to their destination" Rosa said.
"Kania's condition is also getting better, the doctor estimates that only 3 days he can regain consciousness, we just pray that Kania can return as before" said Delia.
"Amenas. Thank you, Miss Delia. Your family is like angels, very good to our poor family." answered Rosa.
Delia shook her head. "There is no difference between poor and rich ma'am, you are already our family. I saw Mila Mili and Tobi Geisha, the four of them were very familiar. And there's a greeting from Cristin, my second daughter. He was very curious about the family of his sister-in-law" said Delia while chuckling.
"I've seen Cristin on television several times as the best designer from Indonesia. That girl is so beautiful." said Rosa.
"There's a time we'll regroup, together and part ma'am. The success of the Widjaja family children because of their parents' excellent attitude towards others. Kania is very lucky to be in a match with Bastian." Rosa hope.
Delia held Rosa's hand. "After the disaster and all that we experienced together. I wish they could get married. I really like Kania."
"Again thanks for everything." answered Rosa and got a nod from Delia.

"So how was it today in high school?" ask Mili to Tobi.
"It's a little awkward, because I'm the only one who's poor" Tobi replied.
Mili narrowed her eyes. "How can you be poor? This is my sister's house too. So brother is not poor."
How does the Widjaja family have an angel heart like this? I'm so confused, I think the rich put us down so much the poor.
"Hey.kak Tobi even daydreams." said Mili resuscitated Tobi.
"Then what about Geisha. He's your class, right?" ask Tobi.
Mili nodded. "Geisha is so beautiful. So the first time to go to class, even men in class at a scene" replied Mili annoyed.

Mili widened her eyes. "How possible. I'm no less beautiful" she replied narcissistically.
Tobi chuckles. "You're so beautiful Mili, I'll protect you if anything bothers you. So tell me anything, if anything pisses you off."
Mili nodded happily. Since Tobi's arrival at home. Mili feels like she has another sister besides Bastian. But Bastian's age is very far with him, so he feels more familiar with Tobi.
"What are you talking about?" ask Mila.
"Sister Mila is very curious. This is our business." Mili replied as she stuck out her tongue.
"Based on a bad girl." said Mila pouting.
"You're my sister now, so from now on, whoever's bothering you, Tobi's brother will fight her" Tobi said. "Where's Geisha?" tanyakanya.
"It's not the same with Rosa's mother." replied Mila.
Tobi narrowed his eyes. "Why?"
"Because the man in our class approached her the first day she entered" Mila replied chuckling. "He's disturbed, tell him who has a pretty face like Kania's sister."
They finally laughed together.
