CHAPTER 26

A week later, Bastian had to go to Pontianak after the construction of the property there was almost completed.

"I was there 3 days Kania. I want you to come, but I need you here, too. So I'm gonna leave you here. But remember, don't be like that as long as I'm gone" Bastian said.

"I'll wait for Tian, you depart heart-hearted. And I don't dare to be like that." replied Kania.

Bastian hugged Kania. "I'm definitely gonna miss you, baby." she said.

Kania returns Bastian's embrace. "I'll miss you too." Kania replied.

"You've learned to drive. So use my car to get to the office" Bastian said. Before Kania answers, Bastian threatens her. "Don't argue. I don't want you to ride in public transport and jostle with men, if you argue that I'll make you sleep with me after I get back from Pontianak." he threatened.

"You've always threatened me Tian, but let me go back to my mother's house as long as you're out of town." said Kania.

"Of course, honey, you're safer with your family than living here alone" Bastian replied.

Kania is very happy to have a boss and lover who is considerate and kind like Bastian. He drove Bastian to Soekarno Hatta airport. Once there Bastian hugged her very tightly.

"I don't want to be separated from you Kania" Bastian said.

"Don't whine like a baby boy, you're only gone for 3 days" Kania replied with a chuckle.

"Be careful if I hear you like you here." threatened Bastian.

"I should have said it Tian, you'll meet a beautiful woman there, then you'll turn away from me." Kania said.

"There is no beautiful woman other than you, Kania" replied Bastian.

Bastian didn't use his father's private jet. He prefers to use public aircraft. The plane Bastian will be boarding will take off soon. They split up at the airport.

"Heart is on the way dear." said Bastian.

"You too, let me know when you arrive." said Kania.

The two split up and Kania headed straight for the company.

One and a half hours drive finally Bastian arrived at Supadio Airport Pontianak. He immediately contacted Kania but the woman did not pick him up. Bastian looked at his watch.

It's rush hour at the office. All right, I'll call you later, Bastian thought.

Bastian went straight to the hotel where he was staying, he was going to the construction site after a few hours of rest first. He missed his beloved sister. Cristina this late end is very difficult to contact. Being a famous artist designer makes him forget to go home to Indo.

"Oh my God if it's here at 8 am, then in Paris at 2 am. There's no way I'm interrupting Cristin's sleep." he muttered to himself.

An hour from the airport to his hotel, already at 11 noon, he took a short break before finally having lunch and contacted Kania.

Kania is very busy in his office, he takes care of files for Chinese clients with Galih. Several times Galih met him to talk, and at this time Galih invited him to lunch.

"Can we have lunch together?" ask Galih.

"Let's see Gal, I'll call you back. My work is not done yet." replied Kania.

Kania simply nodded in response to Galih's remark.

Kania looks at her phone and there's a missed call from Bastian. He saw the wall clock still at 11 p.m. Kania does not want to contact Bastian, he is afraid to disturb him. He'll wait until Bastian contacts him again.

If I had lunch with Galih, would Tian be mad at me. Kania thought.

An hour later it was true that Bastian contacted him. "You're so busy, baby, you're forgetting your girlfriend" Bastian said.

"Very busy, who forgot you baby. What are you doing now?" ask Kania.

"I'm going to the hotel restaurant for lunch, then straight to the construction site. What do you want to eat and with whom?" ask Bastian.

Kania swallowed his saliva. He hopes Bastian isn't mad at him. "I'm going out to eat soon, but I don't know where to eat" Kania replied.

"I haven't got an answer to my last question, so I can guess. You want to eat with Galih, right?" guess Bastian.

"Ehm... Are you mad if I'm with her?" ask Kania.

"You think?" ask Bastian back.

"Darling, I don't feel good about rejecting it. Allow me just this once huh." Kania pleaded.

"Give up." replied Bastian and his phone was immediately turned off.

Kania breathed her breath. Bastian must have been angry because he had said it no other time as long as he lived. Kania immediately contacted Galih.

"I'm sorry Galih, I can't have lunch with you. There is still a lot of work so I will eat at the office." said Kania.

"I'm with you, I'll buy some food outside and take it to your room" Galih said.

"Thank you Galih, I want to eat alone while working. I don't want Mr. Tian to know you're eating in his office, if I have his permission. Sorry." said Kania.

"Is Mr. Tian angry if you eat with me? Do you have a special relationship?" tanya Galih was curious.

"God is not Gal, I am really still a lot of work. And I don't want you in trouble just for eating in his office. It's a long time ago." said Kania again while turning off her phone.

Sorry Galih, I don't want Bastian to be angry. I love him, so I have to keep his feelings.

Kania tries to call Bastian back. But the man didn't pick it up. Kania is very upset with Bastian's attitude. The man was very jealous making Kania go awry to face him.

It had been 3 days since Bastian's departure to Pontianak, and since he was angry at Kania. They don't communicate with each other. Kania also did not contact Bastian at all. Every day Galih tried to invite him to lunch and even dinner, but always Kania refused. Until finally Galih gave up to get close to Kania.

Today is the day Bastian returns to Jakarta, the man did not ask to be picked up at the airport. Kania is confused as to how. He called Bastian but his phone died. Kania looking for information about the landing hours of Pontianak, Kania guessed the possibility of Bastian returning with a GA plane on a morning flight. Like when he left. Kania dresses up beautifully to pick up Bastian at the airport.

Kania arrives at the airport, waiting for Bastian's arrival. And he widened his eyes as a woman hugged Bastian tightly at the airport. Who else is that woman if not the Sahara.
