CHAPTER 18

Bastian brought Kania to the dining table for breakfast after the woman finished her clean in the bathroom. She was so beautiful in her mother's dress.

"Why? Your eyes are judging me." Kania said as she looked at Bastian who kept looking at her.

Bastian smiles. "You're prettier at home than at the office. I love your natural face Kania." replied Bastian.

"I'm allowed not to work?" ask Kania.

"Who said? I had Mr. Jodhi deliver the file today. Of course we'll work at home." replied Bastian.

"You're not going to the office either?" kania asked in surprise.

"Of course, leaving you stubborn is very dangerous. You'll wander around using your swollen legs if I leave you. And it's very risky. You can't have legs after a week. I don't want to make you a cripple" Bastian said.

"You're crazy to scare me Tian, I'll be careful with my feet. You will be troubled if you have to work here." said Kania. "I'm just an ordinary secretary, you've been paying too much attention to me." she continued.

Bastian reluctantly opened the door.

"Tian.." cried Sahara as she hugged Bastian.

"Stop Sahara, how do you know where I live?" ask Bastian.

"You forgot my father was a major general of the police. Of course it is very easy to find the address of a rich man in Indonesia" replied Sahara.

"Why did you come so early Sahara. It has not been 5 years since we met. Whatdoyouwant?" bastian flat said.

"You don't change you'd be fierce if you met me. Of course I miss you. After I finish my S2. My goal to Indonesia is of course to meet my puja man." replied Sahara.

"You who have not changed the Sahara. I don't like you, you keep bothering me. How many times have I said it, we can only be friends." replied Bastian.

"You're so mean, but I don't care. I still like you." Sahara replied as she walked into Bastian's house.

"Wait for Sahara, where are you going?" ask Bastian.

"Fast hour is of course breakfast." replied Sahara shamelessly and headed straight for the dining room.

Sahara was shocked to see a woman there. "Who is he, baby?" ask Sahara.

"Don't call me dear Sahara. You're getting a little talkative." snapped Bastian.

Kania was shocked when she saw the beautiful and elegant woman in front of her. And that woman called Bastian DARLING...

"Don't get me wrong baby, he was just my college friend back in America. Her name is Sahara." Bastian explained to Kania. "This is Kania my boyfriend, and I'm seriously in a relationship with him. So don't bother me anymore." Bastian told the Sahara.

"Since when did your level become Tian's lowly, and I'm your future wife. Om and aunty would have preferred me." said Sahara and immediately sat down at the dinner table.

"You have the Sahara, since when I was your future husband" Bastian said. "You're shameless, change a little" he continued.

"Enough Sahara. You're getting crazy. You're disturbing our breakfast. Now home. Next time don't see me again." snapped Bastian.

"You've always been cruel, that's why I like you more. You must realize that woman does not deserve your degree Tian. Very very classy." said Sahara. "Well today is enough, tomorrow I'll see you again." Sahara kisses Bastian's cheek. "See you tomorrow." continued while staring cynically at Kania.

Bastian followed Sahara out and locked the door.

Kania pouted as Bastian returned to the dining table. "I'm losing my appetite." Kania forced herself to stand up.

"Sit down, Kania, I'll explain. You don't get me wrong." ask Bastian.

"No, the beautiful woman was right. I'm not at your level, I'm not Tian classy. You deserve to be with her." said Kania. He dragged his feet to leave Bastian.

Bastian slammed his spoon violently and carried Kania towards the lounge and sat him on the sofa. "The woman is crazy Kania, I have absolutely nothing to do with her. He's been bothering me ever since I was in college. His father was a police major general, and was very good friends with my father. His father wanted me to marry him. But not with my father. My family loves me so much that I'm free to choose the woman I love and that's you Kania." Bastian explained.

Kania lowered her head and finally sobbed. "But he's right Tian, you're a handsome man and very rich. I don't deserve you at all. I should have thought about it before accepting you. And my dream last night was real." she said sadly.

Bastian. "Only I can determine who is worthy and not for me Kania. My God, I don't like women's tears very much, especially your tears" Bastian said.

Kania tried to calm herself down, but her heart still hurt over the humiliation of the woman earlier.

The doorbell rings. "I'm sure this is Jodhi sir. Don't move your legs or I'll punish you Kania." threatened Bastian again.

Bastian came to the door and opened it. Permitting Jodhi into the living room, he comes with the file that Bastian asked for.

"Thank you uncle Jodhi, while I'm going to work at home. Kania is sick and needs my treatment" Bastian said.

Jodhi nodded. "Sir Rafael has explained it, but son you must find my replacement, in a week I will retire. You need a confidant for something like this. You can't handle Tian yourself." Jodhi said.

Bastian sighed, he wanted to refuse but he also needed it. "Do you have any recommendations?" ask Bastian.

Jodhi nodded. "Hopefully he will work for you, son, his name is Galih. He graduated from college but preferred to open a catfish farm." replied Jodhi.

"Whether such a man would be my subordinate, usually an independent man would prefer to keep trying on his own" Bastian replied.

"I just heard he was looking for Tian job vacancies. May he be able and willing to work with you." replied Jodhi.

"Alright please train him if he finally wants to work in the company." pinta Bastian.

Jodhi nodded. "Well, now it's time for me to go back to the office. Greetings to Kania." said Jodhi while leaving.

"Again thanks uncle." replied Bastian.

Bastian approached Kania again who was still bending his face.
