CHAPTER 3

"Mami.." cried Bastian as if he were 5 years old and hugged Delia.

Delia welcomed her son's embrace. "You're so mean, son, now you're so rare to see me." Delia pouted. "Sir Jodhi please come in, Rafael is in the lounge." Delia told Jodhi.

Jodhi nodded and walked over to Rafael.

"Tian is really busy mi, especially Tian has not found a smart secretary. Tian is really upset at the end of this" Bastian said as he followed Delia in. "Where are grandparents, Mila and Mili?" tanyakanya.

"Grandfather is in the reading room, if grandma as usual kitchen favorite place especially he knows his favorite grandson wants to go home, almost all seafood cooked. If Mila and Mili, they're doing get together at school, so they have to camp there" Delia replied.

"But I miss those two bad girls so much" Bastian said.

"Often go home, they often ask you. If Cristin is in England, you are in Jakarta Tian." said Delia.

Bastian nodded. "Tian wants to surprise grandma" said Bastian.

"Meet your baby first." Delia asked.

"Every Queen Widjaja." Bastian's tease makes Delia just shake her head.

"Papi.." he said when he met Rafael. He always hugged his father.

"Bad kid, don't forget us even if you're busy" Rafael said.

"That's because of uncle Jodhi's secretary of choice" Bastian said.

"You blame others, find the right secretary. You're getting older" Rafael said.

"Whoever Mr. Widjaja, you guys talk, I want to see grandma." said Bastian and left them.

Bastian slowly stepped behind Emili. Then he grabbed it from behind. "Grandmother.." she said.

Emili gasp. "Oh my God, grandma could hang Tian. When did you arrive?" tanyakanya.

"Just now, didn't grandma miss Tian?" ask Bastian.

"Don't ask, baby, grandma misses you. You're really busy, you can't see us." replied Emili.

"He's very busy with secretaries who haven't met his standards ma'am." Delia said behind them.

"That's the truth mi." replied Bastian while tasting one by one Emili's cooking. "Tian is really hungry, everything is delicious" he said.

Emili chuckles. "You're as enthusiastic as your mom is when it comes to seafood."

"That's why Tian is very comfortable if he's been talking to mami nek, mami is Tian's drug of turmoil all this time" he said.

"You're very good at teasing Tian. Similar to your papi." said Delia.

"And mami really likes every temptation from papi" Bastian said with a chuckle.

Delia's face reddened like she was young if it had been teased. "You're getting slacker. Let's get ready for dinner, you pick up grandpa in the reading room." Delia ordered.

Bastian nodded and headed for the reading room. "What are you doing?" bastian asked as he watched Derry sit down and read.

"My grandchildren. When are you there." asked Derry.

"Maybe about 15 minutes ago cake, how's grandpa doing?" ask Bastian. Derry is often sick.

"Grandfather is old boy, grandfather's body is not as brave as before. Just stand up for a long time Grandpa will be exhausted." said Derry.

Bastian helped his grandfather stand up. "Let's have dinner." take her with him while bringing out the already difficult Derry walking by himself. Derry is older than her grandmother. So he looks weaker than Emili. Bastian went straight to the dining table, where everyone had gathered, including Jodhi's uncle.

"So tonight I have seafood to eat?" rafael said, he does not like seafood too much.

Delia chuckles. "No dear, there are others too" he replied.

"It's true to eat big when the prince comes home" said Rafael made everyone chuckle.

"Slow down Tian, you'll get a stomachache" Delia said.

Bastian just nodded and continued to enjoy his meal. Delia likes seafood but not as bad as her son. Emili just chuckled at seeing her granddaughter.

"Didn't you eat for a year?" ask Rafael.

"I eat pi, but I'm eating new grandma and mom's now. And this is so delicious." Bastian replied as he chewed his food.

Rafael just shook his head, Jodhi often smiled at Bastian's behavior. Rafael's son is very different in his family. He will turn into a cute cat here, different while at work. He will be a starving lion ready to pounce on anyone who approaches him.

They all enjoyed dinner until the end. Bastian really left nothing on his desk. He finished a dish that Emili and Delia made.

"You can get fat Tian if you eat you like this" Delia said.

"I'm a guy who always exercises mi, no problem eating this much" replied Bastian.

"Bring grandpa into his room. Grandpa can't sleep at night." Delia ordered.

Bastian follows his mother's orders and takes Derry into his room. Rafael and Jodhi return to talk in the lounge while Delia and Emili clean up their former dinner.

"Are you ready to retire Jod?" ask Rafael.

Jodhi nodded. "But Tian didn't want to find my replacement, he said he didn't need any more help if he found the secretary he wanted. So all that time, I still have to be by Tian sir's side." he replied.

Rafael breathed. "My son doesn't have a friend like me, he should be able to seek help as well as his secretary. There are times when business will find the road difficult. He could only rely on Delia. He said enough of his mammary as a medicine all of it. But I'm still very worried about Jod. Tyar moved to Australia with his family, while Huda after marrying Delia's best friend. They decided to stay in Korea to run a cafe business there. I only have you Jod. But your son is a cop, I can't make him Tian's assistant." Bastian said.

Jodhi nodded. "I'll persuade Tian to find my replacement, I'll find the best assistant for him" he said.

"No need uncle, papi overrated. Tian doesn't need help." Bastian said as he approached the two.

"You're very stubborn, papi is only worried about you" Rafael said.

"Tian promised to say whatever Tian's problem was if it couldn't be solved" he replied.

"Omong is empty, you always keep any problems Tian. Papi knows you for 23 years" Rafael said.

"Since when can your son be coerced by Raf?" ask Delia.

"You always defend him Del, look at your son being too independent" Rafael said.

"I believe him." replied Delia.

"This is why Tian loves Mami so much. Mami has always supported Tian's decision." Tian said as she hugged Delia.

"Well I lose again" said Rafael.

Delia reassured him with a smile and held onto Rafael's hand. Rafael nodded.

"Where's grandma?" ask Bastian.

"He was so tired that he went straight into the room" Delia replied.

"It's getting late, it's time for Tian to go home" Bastian said.

"Stay one night here, son, you still miss you. Let Mr. Jodhi pick you up tomorrow morning." Delia asked.

"But mi." Bastian saw the look on his mother's face. "Alright tonight Tian stayed over." he continued.

A smile returned from Delia's face. Jodhi went home. Rafael drove him to the front of the house.
