CHAPTER 14

The next day, Bastian returned to work. Since Kania took care of him he's been better. But suddenly Bastian returned emotions when Kania did not remind his meeting with clients from Malaysia.

"You're so stupid, what are you thinking. Why are you reminding her now?" bastian.

"Sorry sir, but I reminded him an hour ago." replied Kania.

"You should remind me again after an hour, if I haven't left my room." cried Bastian. "It's too late, the client will be angry for waiting for me." he snapped again.

Kania just looked down. This man is very cruel, he forgot why vent it on me. Kania murmured in his heart.

"Come out...Call that client to postpone the meeting an hour later because I'm stuck in traffic." Bastian snapped.

Kania came out of his room. You arrogant man, said Kania annoyed.

Kania contacted Mr. Kimoto and thank God the man was willing to wait and understand that, before long Bastian came out. "What's he saying?" ask Bastian.

"The client understands and is willing to wait for sir." replied Kania.

Bastian left Kania with a cold face. This time the man did not invite her out, Kania was confused to follow him or not. But Bastian yelled in the elevator.

"What are you waiting for? Should I say it over and over again to you, if you should always follow me to the meeting." he shouted.

Kania is shocked and immediately chases Bastian until his leg is sprained. He frowned but still endured the pain and continued to follow Bastian. His legs were throbbing even more as they reached the restaurant where Mr. Kimoto was waiting.

Kania endured her pain and tried to walk as usual even though her sweat started to come out from enduring the pain. The meeting took so long as 2 hours, and thankfully came to an agreement. Mr. Kimoto couldn't stay for long, he left Bastian and Kania.

Kania tidied up the documents on the table, her hands were sweating and shaking. His feet really hurt.

"We eat first." said Bastian.

Kania nodded. "I'll go to the toilet first sir." replied Kania.

Bastian nodded. Bastian wanted to order food but he noticed Kania as he headed for the toilet, the woman slightly dragging her feet. Bastian undoes the order, he takes care of the paperwork and his briefcase. Bastian waited for Kania in front of the toilet, before long the woman came out, her face paled and sweaty.

Bastian saw his leg. And look at his right ankle that's turning blue and swollen. "Based on a stupid woman." Bastian snapped and carried Kania, past the restaurant guests.

Kania was no longer able to struggle. He wanted to faint. His body is so limp. Bastian immediately took her to the hospital.

"When have your feet been like that?" bastian asked annoyed.

"Since I chased you into the elevator." replied Kania.

"You're so stupid, you should have said it. We can get to the hospital early." snapped Bastian.

"That will make Mr. Kimoto wait again, no way sir." replied Kania again.

"I'd love to strangle Kania's neck" Bastian said, speeding his car to a nearby hospital.

Arriving there, Bastian again held Kania.

"I can walk alone sir." said Kania.

"Shut up or I'll punch you in the ass." threatened Bastian.

"It's going to be a long time, sir, because you're late to bring him here" the doctor said. "Don't walk for the next 2 weeks. If you do that, it will take longer to heal." he continued.

Bastian nodded and thanked the doctor. He went out to take care of the payment. "Don't go down." Bastian ordered Kania.

A few minutes later Bastian carried Kania again to drive her home. Bastian's treatment is very different to Kania's. Kania was well aware of that, as hard and cruel as she was. Bastian won't take responsibility when he's sick or hurt.

Kania was watching the road, this was not the direction of her house. "Where are we going?" ask Kania.

"To my house, I'll make sure you're in bed for 2 weeks. If you go to your house, you'll do something stupid again." snapped Bastian.

"But sir, it's not appropriate for us to stay together" Kania replied.

"Fuck the inappropriate words, I'll make sure you get well and can help me in the office again. I'll ask your mother for permission, so you can stay with me." Bastian said. "No words but again Kania. You follow my rules or you're out of the company." threatened Bastian.

Kania can only follow Bastian's words. He can't refuse Bastian, it's about the cost of his sister's brother who increasingly requires a fee. He still needs that job.

They were at Bastian's mansion. He returned to carry Kania. And put it in the guest room.

"If you dare get out of bed. I will punish you Kania." threatened Bastian again.

"Then what am I going to do here." asked Kania.

"Not doing anything. That's an order." Bastian replied.

Kania just nodded.

An hour later Bastian brought food to Kania's room. "Eat it, I ordered it. Then take your medicine." he said.

"Thank you sir." replied Kania.

"Tian.Call me Tian Kania, you always forget that" Bastian said.

Kania breathed her breath. "Sorry Tian, thank you very kind to me." replied Kania.

"That's my responsibility as your boss" Bastian said and left Kania.

Bastian sat in his study at home, reading the documents of the agreement with the Japanese client many times, not because he did not understand but because his mind was only on Kania. Just now he wanted to be indifferent and avoid the woman, but God always gave trouble so that he was always close to Kania.

It was all because of his mistake that the woman was injured. It was very difficult for Bastian to ignore his existence. What if he told Kania about his feelings and rejected her. It was embarrassing for him. But for at least 2 weeks Kania will stay with him. It was so easy to make the woman fall in love with him.

Bastian is concentrating on his work. It did not feel like he had been in the office for 2 hours. He went out and approached Kania again. The woman was very beautiful when she fell asleep. Bastian approaches him, and envelops Kania.

"Do you know Kania, it's been since you got into my company. I'm very interested in you. I paid for your mother's hospital, I paid half of your sister's school fees without you knowing. That's what I do because I love you. Until when are you going to run away from Kania." Bastian told the sleeping Kania. "I'm not saying anything about my feelings because I know you're just thinking about your family, and stupidly, I'm afraid of being rejected" she said.

Bastian kissed Kania's forehead and continued to stare at the woman. Once he was satisfied, he turned off the room light and left it.
