Mother To Aina

BUA 17'S

Alvin and Aina were in a shopping mall. Alvin is looking for something to be the hand of his first visit to the Haifa family. Although there is no official bond as a candidate or anything. But Alvin thinks coming empty-handed is not the right choice.

"What is this for?" aina asked while pointing at some of the groceries that Alvin had brought.

"It's for his family aunty dear."

"We're going to Aty Tantik papa's house?"

"Yes dear."

"Yeeee." said Aina very enthusiastically.

"What a hell of a princess is this papa?"

"Hehe."

It did not take long for Alvin to arrive at the place according to the Address shared by Haifa. It's not too far from Alvin's house.

Alvin parked his car outside the fence of Haifa's house.

"Bismillah" said Alvin then squeeze the bell on the wall of the fence.

Inside the house, Mama and Papa had gathered while chatting in the living room. Because Haifa told me that Alvin was coming today.

"There are people who ngebell tuh. It came maybe. Bukain there's the deck" Mama told Haifa.

"Smucky."

"Should papa?" said Papa.

"Or mama?" added mama.

"Mrc ah. I'll have no papa restui."

"This father is already like Mr. Alvin would actually ngajakin adek marriage. Haven't specified the person he came to just want to meet papa mama."

"Who said Alvin would marry you? Papa just said later no papa blessing that you are." said Papa while smiling teasing Haifa.

"Mama's son really wants someone to marry?"

"Ih papa mama mah." haifa.

"Udah gausah ngambek ngambek bukain there. Later later back again thought there was no one." said mama.

Haifa moved from her seat with a sullen face because she had been seduced by her mother and father.

"Smile deck. Don't pout and it's not good to entertain guests so." scolded papa.

"Yes Papa" said Haifa, smiling at her mom and dad.

Haifa walked out of the house to open the gate.

When the gate opened, Alvin and Aina were in front of him.

"Atalamualaikum aty" said Aina in the middle of the same two adults silent.

"Wa'alaikumsalam is beautiful for a long time. Come in yuk." take Haifa.

Aina walked straight towards Haifa. The two of them walked in while Alvin was still in his position from feeling neglected.

"Is it just Aina you're asking in?" ask Alvin.

Haifa who was still a few steps in front of Alvin turned her head again.

"You have grown up and you should understand yourself" Haifa replied.

"But I'm a guest. If the host has not been invited then it has not been entitled" said Alvin.

"Please enter Mr. Alvin." said Haifa as he continued to walk with Aina.

Alvin smiles. Although maybe he and Haifa are still just as rigid but at least Aina and Haifa are so familiar and can accept each other.

They go in. Mom and Dad were standing at the door.

"Assalamualaikum" said Alvin when he saw Haifa's parents. Then shake hands with Papa Haifa. And followed by Aina who greeted both Haifa parents.

"Wa'alaikumsalam" they answered.

"What's this beautiful name?" mama asked while crouching in front of Aina.

"Aina .." said Aina hanging because she did not know what to call. Aina also turned her head towards Haifa.

"Call me baby" Mama told Aina. Umi's call adjusted to the call of his two grandchildren.

"Judek. Please come in." take Mama.

They came in and gathered in the family room. Papa said to be more relaxed.

"Oh yeah about this aunt Alvin there's this little. May it be deigned." said Alvin while handing over his luggage.

"O Allah bothered to bother everything. Thank you Mr. Alvin." said Mama while receiving Alvin's luggage.

Alvin and Haifa's parents had started talking and Haifa was in the kitchen preparing treats for her guests.

"Please drink sir." said Haifa while offering a cup of drink.

"Thank you." replied Alvin.

They resumed the conversation. Haifa is just a listener. The conversation looked relaxed but filled.

Until without feeling the sound of adzan maghrib must stop their chatter.

"Alhamdulillah maghrib. What if we both pray together at home?" take papa.

"Papa's tumben isn't going to the mosque" Haifa said.

"There will be a guest during papa's stay" replied papa.

"It's the same with Alvin to the mosque" Haifa said.

"Yes Om is what it should be. The man was chosen to pray in the mosque. Is that so om?"

"Alhamdulillah if you want Alvin also want to come to the mosque. Yaudah yuk later we're late." take papa again.

"Let's go." replied Alvin.

"Aina wait for Papa to the mosque first don't be naughty dear" said Alvin while rubbing Aina's head.

"Yes Papa."

Alvin and Papa both went to the mosque not far from the Haifa residence. Haifa prayed at home with Mama and Aina.

Finish praying isya papa and Alvin back home.

"Son Alvin always congregates in the mosque?"

"Not always om. Only as much as possible Alvin try especially maghrib, isya and dawn."

"Alhamdulillah."

Alvin and Papa Haifa return to the living room. They seem back to talking. Meanwhile Mama and Haifa were preparing dinner.

"Pa, the food is ready" said Haifa, who had just emerged from the dining room.

"Nah son Alvin happened to have his meal ready so we should have dinner first huh. We'll talk again."

"I'm sorry Alvin was so troublesome. Alvin's been too long since you're probably better off than Alvin."

"Oh no no. There is no history of visiting this house before eating. We eat first, later if you have eaten up to if you want to pay yes please if you still want to stay here yes please do nginap also please." said Papa.

"Papa." rebuked Haifa.

"Haha yes sorry to joke. Yuk yudah eat first. Don't refuse later om revoke the permission want?"

"Eh. Don't be so om." said Alvin spontaneously.

"Haha joke again. Tensely tense as it may be. I'm ah yuk eat first." said Papa as he walked towards the dining table.

Alvin followed behind Papa Haifa.

There was no conversation at the dinner table. Everyone is focused on food. There was only the sound of the clanking of spoons and forks being heard.

After eating, everyone still gathered at the table. Except for Haifa who was going back and forth in the kitchen to clean up their food scraps.

"Sorry om, aunt previously said there are things that Alvin wants to talk about first" said Alvin.

"Oh so for a minute, I'll call Haifa first" Papa said.

"Here first." call Papa.

"What's the matter, pa?"

"Sit down first." Mama ordered.

Haifa said she was sitting next to Mama.

"Look Om, Aunt and Haifa previously Alvin thanked him for accepting and allowing Alvin and Aina to meet and get acquainted with the Om family. Sorry to bother the Om family because of Alvin's arrival" Alvin said.

"We don't feel bothered anyway, just calm down for Alvin" said Papa.

Alvin replied with a smile.

"Om, Aunt. If allowed Alvin wants this introduction to be a more purposeful introduction. Alvin has good intentions to make Haifa Alvin's wife and Aina's mother. But maybe it's too fast a process."

"If Om and Aunty allow Haifa to be pleased. And if Haifa is not yet another man's betrothed. Tonight Alvin wants to start getting to know the family om and aunt especially Haifa with the process may be less appropriate if it is called ta'aruf because setau Alvin ta'aruf should not be this synthetically.
