Chapter 34

Elena held her mouth. He doesn't believe what he sees. He shook his head hoping it was all a dream but this was really real. Her husband and Emili were hugging and they were kissing! Makes Elena nauseous and passes right away from there. He's fed up.

Elena walked to her room and packed her little clothes and sat on her bed and cried. Elena felt stupid. What did he expect from Adam? Hadn't she and Adam been married purely for business and profit? But seeing the two of them hugging and kissing somehow Elena's heart ached.

Elena wiped away her tears when she realized that Adam was not hers. But can't they do it not in this house? At Adam's parents' house? I don't know where they both thought.

Elena got up and went to the bathroom before Adam saw her crying. He did not want Adam or Emili to feel happy to see him sad. After feeling enough, he came out and saw Adam sitting on the bed playing with his phone.

"You packed?" adam asked with a soft face. If only he had not seen how the lips were******* Emili's lips of course he now felt flowery seeing how Adam looked at him.

"Yes, I'm going back to the apartment!" elena replied as she pulled her suitcase towards the door of the room.

"But I just got home, tomorrow we're going to the apartment" said Adam.

"Whatever, I'll go first!" Elena seemed to not care, she then came out while pulling her suitcase. Adam immediately followed Elena out, though tired he would persuade Elena to stay one more night in this house. He could not think of an answer if his parents asked.

"Wait on! Elena! Please, wait!" There's holding Elena's arm. Elena immediately pulled out her hand.

"What else?" ask Elena.

"We'll go home tomorrow?" adam's Pinta.

"I told you, it's up to you. I'm so excited and I'm going back to the apartment. Whether you want to be here or not!" Elena immediately turned around and left Adam running after her.

"Okay, I'm coming!" said Adam. They walked together and arrived at the dining table to see Mama Renata who was ready to wait for them to eat dinner.

"Who? Where are you going, baby?" ask Renata.

"You go back to your house" Elena replied.

"Why? Why suddenly? I'll be home tomorrow,"

"No ma, sorry!" Elena could not think of a proper answer.

"We'll have dinner here, after that we'll just go home" Adam said.

"Well, let's eat first!" bring Renata. Soon Emili came out of her room and said goodbye to everyone. And lastly he looked at Adam a long time ago, and so did Adam. Elena saw how Adam stared at Emili making his appetite evaporate. Is he jealous? I don't know, he didn't like Adam so soft on Emili while with him Adam was often angry and cynical. Elena felt Adam was unfair, thanks to him as well so that Adam could inherit various benefits from his father.

Emili came out carrying her stuff and passed from there. Elena pretended not to see and continued eating even a little.

After eating Elena immediately went and said goodbye to Adam's parents. Followed by Adam who followed him listlessly.

In the car the two were silent with no one intending to start a conversation. Even when they were already inside the unit, they were silent to each other.

"Why are our passwords being replaced?" ask Adam.

"Today I called the cause but you didn't pick it up" Elena replied, then went into the room and put down the suitcase without any intention of opening it.

"Sorry, I'm in a meeting. What's going on?"

"Yesterday..."

"Yes sir?" ask Elena.

"Sorry mom, I just want to make sure that everything is safe. Did someone come back yesterday?" ask the officer.

"Don't know sir, I was staying at my parents' house yesterday" Elena replied.

"Oh so, if you don't mind later can come with me to the room to see who the person who entered yesterday. Maybe I know him" said the officer.

"Well, I'm going there now," said Elena, curious about the person. I hope his face is visible.

"Whose people?" ask Adam. Elena simply took a breath and ignored him. Elena immediately followed the officer to the security room. Although tired, Adam followed the two of them. He wondered what was happening.

Arriving at the security room, they saw CCTV footage that was in many places. It was seen a man in black and wearing a hat entered the apartment and even knew the password to get into his unit. Elena was getting curious, how the person knew the unit's password and it looked like the man knew where the CCTV was located so he could avoid it. His face is completely invisible.

Shortly after the video was seen as the man ran outside. Just get there.

"Mother is not familiar with the physical characteristics of the person?" ask officer. Elena shook her head.

"How did he get in?" muttered Elena.

"I'm sorry we're so upset, we're sorry for not being able to keep the security here,"

"It's okay sir, I feel familiar with his posture. But I forgot who it was," Elena sneered at her temple.

"Slow down ma'am, later if you remember do not forget to contact us,"

"Okay sir, thank you. I'm back in the unit yeah,"

"Well ma'am, sorry to interrupt the timing," the officer said with a regretful look.

"It's okay, once again thank you sir, I say goodbye" Elena passed from the room without waiting for Adam.

"What is this really about?" ask Adam.

"Let me explain!" Elena was lazy to tell a long story because her body was a little tired. And seeing as Adam needs a break too.

Arriving at her unit, Elena immediately walked into her room and lay down. He was tired and his mood was a mess. Didn't want to come back here because he had been entered by a stranger, but at his father-in-law's house he didn't want to. All wrong.

Elena closed her eyes and felt a smooth movement on the bed. Elena opened her eyes and saw Adam sitting and waiting for his explanation.

"What's the matter exactly?"

"Yesterday a stranger came into our unit,"

"Then?"

"Either what he was looking for, and he also threatened me to even strangle my neck. I don't know what his clear intentions are I feel a little more loss of life,"

"really? I'm sorry I was busy and didn't pick up your phone,"

"And even after that you have no intention of calling back!" said Elena. Adam fell silent, it was true what Elena said. Actually he was lazy to pick up the phone from Elena because he was with Emili. But he couldn't have said it all.
