Chapter 30

"I want to talk!" the man pulled Elena's hand and pushed the girl onto the sofa. Elena confirmed the location of her seat and looked at the unknown man before her.

"Who are you?" ask Elena.

"No need to know who I am, I just want to take a closer look at Adam's wife" he chuckled to himself. Elena thinks that this guy must be Adam's rival.

"If you use me as a victim because of Adam or his company, you're a coward!" said Elena. The man looked at her and choked Elena's neck. Elena groaned because it was hard to breathe.

"I don't care!" he grinned with satisfaction. His phone rang, he let go of the hand that was strangling Elena's neck and walked slightly away. Elena immediately inhaled a lot of air. And while coughing Elena got up, she ran to the young man and pushed the man. The man fell down after hitting the table. He was in pain because he hit the corner of the table. The phone fell and the phone was still connected. Elena moved towards the phone and was about to grab it but her finger was stepped on by the man. Elena screamed in pain.

After getting his phone the man rushed out. Elena chased after him but the man was too fast, then he returned to his unit. He immediately reported the incident to apartment security. He tried to call Adam. Many times he called and there was no answer.

Shortly after the security came, he changed the password to enter and asked for a deadbolt from inside. He didn't want any more help when someone came in. That's frightening.

After the security forces left, he immediately locked the door. This made him very scared, who was that man? As if he was no stranger to his voice. But Elena couldn't remember it.

Elena went to the bathroom to refresh her body. After taking a shower, he saw his phone live. There's a message coming in from Adam's girlfriend.

Adam slept with me

Elena just sent a thumb emoticon to the girl. Honestly, his power was drained and he really did not want his emotions to bother him again. If Adam slept there, he would. She can what? Adam could not be called, apparently he was busy there.

Elena slammed her body into the bed. To be honest he felt angry, not because of jealousy but because he felt threatened and Adam could not be contacted. He was angry that someone could come in. He was angry with the security system. Everything feels so wrong. And tears flowed down his cheeks. She was afraid of being alone, but she had no full rights to Adam. You will know what it feels like when you have someone but you also have clear boundaries. It feels really chest tight.

Elena cried all night. And the next morning the mood was no better as mama Renata and papa Kim were walking towards her house. Until now Adam has not returned a message or called him. Elena rushed to take a shower and put on her clothes and made her breakfast.

Shortly after, Mama Renata rang the bell. Elena immediately opened the door and took Mama Renata in.

"Mama herself? Isn't it the same papa Kim?" elena asked, tilting her head behind Renata's back.

"The office is busy, so your papa is in a hurry. Where's Adam? Is he still sleeping?" ask Renata. Elena was feeling a little nervous.

"Uhm... That's, Adam is on duty ma, let's have breakfast first," asked Elena who distracts Renata for her child. They ate breakfast and told a lot.

"When are you staying? Mom loves your cooking. You're good at cooking, apparently,"

"Let's Elena talk to Adam, thank God you like it" Elena said.

Elena's phone rang while Renata was eating. Elena walked away and picked up the phone from Adam.

"What's wrong?" elena asked a little.

"I'm the one who's why?"

"Why the hell? If you're busy already, I'll turn off the phone,"

"You're angry, it's up to you!" said Adam.

"Yes, and by the way your mama's here!"

"What?"

"You're not a bitch, are you?"

With all the persuasions Renata finally Elena was invited to her in-laws' house and stayed there before Adam got to her apartment. Elena didn't tell Adam, just like the man did to her. On the way, his phone vibrated. Elena didn't take it because she knew it was Adam. Fortunately he had to turn off the ringtone, otherwise Mama Renata would be suspicious.

Arriving at Renata's mother's house, he immediately entered the room reserved for her. Then he picked up his cell phone and heard Adam's anger.

"Where are you?" he finally asked after getting angry at Elena.

"At mama's house" answered Elena lazily.

"****! Wait for me there!" he snapped and then turned off the phone.

Soon Adam came with a dead red face. Fortunately, Mama Renata was not in the front room. Adam went straight to Elena's room.

He entered with hunting breath holding in anger. He saw Elena tidying up the clothes in the closet and turned her head when Adam came. He stood up and approached Adam, quickly Adam grabbed Elena's arm and gripped her firmly.

"sick! What the fuck are you?" Elena tried to escape.

"You? I didn't think you were that bad!"

"What do you mean?" elena asked who was grimacing because the grip of Adam's hand was making her sick even more.

"I know all, don't stop me from marrying you and then you just want to terrorize my woman" Adam said.

Elena doesn't understand anymore. Hasn't that woman been terrorizing him all this time?

"You're too stupid to see the situation" Elena said, trying to relax even though her arm was sore.

"Don't piss me off Elena, I hate cowards like you!"

"Oh yeah? Who is a coward? On behalf of the wedding?"

"Fake wedding! So don't expect more Elena!"

"What am I expecting? Who here expects so much?" Elena laughed cynically.

"God! You are! Don't try to fight me or..."
