Chapter 20

Adam opened his laptop and checked the incoming report. An hour later his eyes started to get heavy and feel sleepy. Finally he closed his laptop and immediately went to the room. But unfortunately because he was too tired and sleepy he went into Emili's room and lay there.

Emili who woke up from the movement beside her smiled looking at Adam. He knew Adam would never get away from him. Emili clasped their bodies, hugged Adam's arms and went back to sleep. The man slept so well that he didn't realize he was in the wrong room and Emili hugged him tightly.

The morning Adam's cell phone alarm woke him up. He did set an alarm before doing his job last night. Ada blinked her eyes and grabbed the phone to turn off the alarm. He put his hands on his chest and sat down. Adam realized. He glanced behind his back. Emili was sleeping. Adam saw his clothes, still intact. He was grateful that nothing happened. Adam restores his hair and goes to the bathroom.

The scent of soap and shampoo burst into Emili's room. The girl got up and sat leaning on the head of the bed. Smiling Adam came out of the bathroom clad in a towel.

"Wake up, have breakfast!" Adam took the clothes in the closet.

"How about breakfast in bed?" tanya Emili hugged Adam's waist wrapped in a towel.

"Mili, stop it! Come on breakfast, I'm in a hurry!" adam took off Emili's hand and put on his clothes immediately.

"Why have you changed now? Do you love your parents' chosen girl?" ask Emili.

"I haven't changed and I don't love him. It's purely business. I'm just tired and in a hurry. Take a shower, I wait in the dining room" Adam kissed Emili's forehead.

Adam was sitting in the dining room, breakfast was provided by the housekeeper. Adam took a sip of his coffee and opened a social media app on his phone.

"Bik, please remind Mili to take her vitamins. And watch the food" said Adam.

"Well, old aunt, wait for the greengrocer" the housekeeper came out after Adam nodded.

"Hey... Let's breakfast!" Emili was sitting at the dinner table right next to Adam.

"Come, eat a lot so that the baby is healthy and big quickly,"

"It looks like your papa is already impatient," said Emili smiling towards his slightly bulging stomach. Adam just glanced and put vitamins for pregnant women next to Emili's plate.

"Eat, take the vitamins. I work first" Adam said and immediately walked out. Her appetite was somehow suddenly gone. Emili got up and chased after Adam holding her from behind.

"Can't it be much longer?" ask Emili.

"I'm sorry I have to go to Mili's office, I'm in a hurry, '" Adam tried to let go of Emili's hand and he walked into the garage and pulled out his car. He waved at Emili and his car immediately rolled out of the house.

Just got out of the housing complex. His house assistant called and asked him to come back immediately because Emili was in pain. Adam turned his car around and went back home.

"Why him?" adam asked as he saw Emili grimacing in pain in the bathroom.

"Non Emili was vomiting" he replied. Adam helped Emili stand up and swept her into the room.

"Why is this so?" ask Adam to put a blanket on Emili.

"This habit den, if pregnant must be like this. Vomiting is common but non Emili was in pain I was afraid why-why. I'm sorry if I'm being intrusive" said her domestic assistant.

"It's okay, thanks bi," said Adam.

"Together den. Put the oil around his neck. Hopefully it will improve" the aunt suggested.

"Yes, I'll take a check-up soon. Look at the progress" said Adam.

"Good den,"

Adam immediately got ready to bring Emili who was lying weak. He'll take her to the doctor.

"No, I'm worried about why-why with you or the baby" Adam insisted.

"I can feel it, it's gonna get better,"

"No!" Adam immediately carried the weakly lying Emili and laid her down in the car. They're going to the hospital right away.

After arriving and the doctor immediately examined Emili. Adam was anxiously waiting. He does not know what to do and how to take care of someone who is pregnant.

"Father Adam, please come in. The doctor wants to talk" call a nurse.

"Thank you, sir" Adam came in and saw the doctor. Emili was still lying with her eyes closed. Either sleeping or it hurts a lot.

"So how's doc?" adam asked after sitting in front of the doctor.

"Please pay attention to his wife pa, sorry in advance. Please pay attention to rest and food intake. It seemed like Emili's mother did not get enough rest and ate very little, it made her body weak plus more... "

"What's the doctor?" adam asked curiously as the doctor paused.

"All right doc, thank you," Adam sent the doctor out. Then back into Emili's room. And saw he was fast asleep. It seems like Emili sets her mind to the fate of her and her baby. He called Lee and was immediately picked up on the first ring.

Cellphone's ringing. From Lee, Adam immediately picked him up.

"It's so bad, huh?" ask Lee. He does not yet know the details of Emili and Adam's current problems. But in general, he knows a little.

"Ok bye!" said Lee. Then disconnect the phone
