Chapter 32

Elena scratched her phone that was still ringing. Not picked up, huh? Her phone died because Elena never picked up. Before long her phone rang again, Elena took a breath first and shifted the green button, then placed it on the right ear.

"Hello?" said Elena.

"You okay? Mama told me you were sick" said Adam across the street. Elena was glad Adam was worried about her. But he still has the prestige to admit it.

"Well, I just have a stomachache,"

"There's medicine in the room, if you need it. If you still sick ask to take the driver to the doctor immediately,"

"Okay, but I'm good," said Elena.

"Okay, I'm closing. And sorry I was so emotional this afternoon,"

"It's okay. Later after you get home we talk,"

"Okay, night,"

"Night," Elena turned off her phone and took a breath. Too stiff but Elena was happy because Adam's anger had subsided. Just prepare to talk to Adam after he comes home from out of town.

That night Elena slept well and tomorrow she wants to visit her parents' house. Elena missed her mother and father.

Early the next morning he arrived at the house his parents were escorted by the driver of the Kim family, his father-in-law. Elena ran into the house. Both of her parents did not expect Elena to come that morning.

"Are you the same Adam?" ask mother.

"On duty out of town ma'am, at home alone Elena was bored," he replied.

"Sleeping here tonight yeah, we miss you too" said his mother.

"Yes ma'am, this is a little souvenir from the mother-in-law," said Elena gave two large bags to her mother.

"Their in-laws, "" said his father.

"Mama said hello and apologized for not being able to come here because there was an event" Elena said

"Yes, it's okay. Come on in, have you eaten? mom cooks the rice kale,"

"Wuaaah wants to ma'am," Elena's eyes sparkled at her mother's cooking. He really likes kale vegetables.

"So, how's your wedding going?" ask her mother while accompanying her child to eat.

"Good ma'am," said Elena with a mouthful of food.

"You happy? What about the family there? Are they good?" ask mother. Instantly Elena stopped her chewing and looked at her mother.

"Family good all ma'am, Elena's snick in there,"

"That doesn't mean it's fun here?"

"Mom, how come it's so with his son. I believe that wherever our family gets together, Elena should be happy,"

"Let's father," Elena smiled towards her father.

That morning Elena spent her time in the kitchen with her mother making various cakes ordered by her neighbors. From the past they did receive cake orders, although not too large but the results were enough for daily needs and to spend time.

After making the cake, Elena offered to deliver the order to her mother's subscription. After that he rested in the room he missed so much. Elena checked her phone and there was nothing there. Elena realized, what was she expecting? Again he reminded himself that he and Adam had no special relationship.

That night, the mother's father and Elena went for a walk in search of fresh air and spoiled her parents. They went to dinner at a restaurant and bought some clothes for his father and mother. But all that Elena took out of her last paycheck at her restaurant first. He was afraid of using Adam's money too much. He has to prepare his lectures and bimbel.

The next morning Elena had to say goodbye to return to her father-in-law's house. She also had to pick up her husband this afternoon who was returning from out of town as per the instructions given by her in-laws. So after breakfast, Elena left with the driver of her invitation. There was a sense of sadness when leaving both parents but he was happy a little bit of his longing was treated. Now it's time to go back to the complicated world of her marriage.

Elena reached her in-laws' house and handed over a little of her parents' care. But baby, Mama Renata hasn't come home yet. Elena immediately put some food in the refrigerator and took part in ART cooking in the kitchen. No activity makes it saturated.

All the ART there really likes Elena, in addition to her friendly son she wants to help cook and make fresh drinks. It didn't feel like her in-laws had arrived.

"No matter what, Elena was tired of no activities" Elena said.

"Yes, it's late afternoon. You get ready, we'll go get Adam" said Renata's mother.

"Yes ma," Elena rushed to her room changing clothes. Then she came out in a creamy knee-length dress and a tiny black sling bag.

"It's so pretty to pick up a husband," seduced mom Renata. Elena smiled shyly. They both immediately headed to the airport. Not without reason Renata invites Elena to pick up Adam. He wants both of them to get along and their households to get back well.

Arriving at the airport, the plane just got off. Elena and Renata's mom waited for the passengers to get off one by one. He could not wait to see his son's surprise when he saw his wife pick him up. Passengers had already passed through the exit but Adam's figure had not been seen.

Renata looks at his phone and calls Adam. On the second ring Adam picked up his phone.

"Yes ma? What's up?" ask Adam.

"What's wrong? You where? Why haven't you come out?" ask Renata.

"Oh, did mama pick me up?" ask Adam.

"Also your wife" replied Renata.

"Elena? Ma, I'm sorry Adam's return is delayed until tomorrow. The project here is problematic. There were many complaints from people around,"

"So? You still there?" ask Renata.

"Yes ma, sorry. Adam forgot to tell Mama and Elena,"

"Hmmh. okay, if so mom just go home,"

"Yes ma, sorry,"

Renata immediately turned off his phone. He was upset with his son, he felt Elena would be disappointed if he knew Adam would not come home.

"Why ma?" ask Elena.

"Adam did not come home today. It turned out that the project there was a problem, maybe tomorrow or the day after he came home" Renata said.

"That's it, yeah, we're home" Elena said. Renata nodded and they walked towards the parking lot.

Just as they were walking, Elena suddenly got hit by a woman who was walking hurriedly out.

"I'm sorry but it was the bump" Elena said. Renata stopped and looked at the two of them.

"You are the way! Don't accuse me!" abugn.

"But..."

"But but... Move aside! I'm going through!" He pushed Elena's shoulder. Elena was pushed back and hit Renata.

"Who? Aunty?" she asked the woman and she opened her sunglasses and mask for a while.

"Gee... The emili? What a coincidence, where are you from?" ask Renata.

"New from out of town aunt but I'm in a hurry. There are journalists on the same plane. He's looking for news" Emili said.

"Is that? We were in a hurry, too,"

"Eeeh aunt, may I come?"

"Yes, come on!" Emili walked beside Renata and ignored Elena.
