Chapter 23

Adam looked back and saw a man smiling at him. The tall man looked at him sharply even though his smiling lips made Adam a little afraid. Who's the guy?

"May I sit down?" tanyanya pointed at the sofa beside Adam. Adam nodded and shifted a little.

"You're Adam?"

"How is... "

"I'm Aldo, your future sister-in-law,"

"Oh hi... I'm sorry I didn't recognize you and Elena never told me... "

"Did he never tell you?"

"Yes, that's. We don't know each other yet. We're still in the process of approaching,"

"I don't agree with this marriage yet" Aldo said.

"Why is that? Relax, I'm gonna make Elena comfortable and happy,"

"Hopefully, but remember! If my sister's doing anything, get ready!" aldo's Threat.

"Please, brother" replied Adam with a smile.

Before long Elena came out wearing a hanbok for the bride.

"Sister! How's it?" elena asked as she turned around.

"Good, beautiful you!"

"Makeup!" Adam added.

"It's a well, tired of changing things up," said Elena.

"Yes" replied Aldo.

"Shirt is the same recipe?" ask Adam.

"Udah just now," Elena said with a smile.

"But I haven't seen, yet" protested Adam.

"Udaaah, just calm down. My sister's choice must be okay. Yes, we want to walk first. I brought her," Aldo said pointing to the dressing room, where Elena was changing her clothes.

"Flame... But... "

"Why?" ask Aldo.

"I'm coming!" said Adam.

"No, it's my day and my sister's special before I go back out of town,"

"But... "

"You'd better accompany someone who needs someone like you,"

"What do you mean?" Adam was provoked by emotion.

"What's wrong?" ask Elena who just came back from the dressing room.

"Sister just ask permission to take you, we both walk. You don't mind, do you?" aldo asked who was suppressing the conversation.

"Please!" adam said with a forced smile. Although he was very happy if not with Elena, but the attitude of his future sister-in-law made his mood messy and wanted to cancel the marriage. But shut down because they remember their agreement.

Adam's out after Elena and Aldo. It turns out Elena didn't drag another bride. He remembers how troublesome Vergie and Sarah had been to choose bridal attire, not to mention invitation letters, decorations and everything involving Lee as well as Adam. But it all seems easy to Elena. He will not remain silent if their marriage is passed simply.

He entered the car as Aldo's car exited the parking lot. Adam did not care, then immediately drove his car in the opposite direction to meet Emili who was in better condition. He picked the girl up from the hospital and took her home.

Emili smiled happily as she saw Adam enter her room. He had all his equipment ready to go back home. Adam immediately tote a bag containing Emili's equipment and took Emili out of the room.

"I'm sorry it's been a long time to keep you waiting, I had a little business just now" said Adam.

"No problem, let's go home! I'm bored here by myself" Emili said as she walked out.

"You don't go anymore, stay here yes" said Emili.

"Yes, but I can't take long. Papa's gonna go,"

"How are you preparing for your wedding?" ask

"That's it, not too much trouble" Adam replied.

"Are you happy?" ask Emili.

"So, it's hard to explain,"

"Do you love her?"

"Don't talk about it again, please... I just want to calm down. Office and home are just as complicated today,"

"I'm sorry... Remember your house here. Me and our son are always there for you" whispered Emili. Hearing that felt Adam's feelings faint. He feels a little calm. At least there was nothing heavy he was thinking about here.

"Thank you. Take a break and please don't eat weird food and drink dangerous drinks anymore,"

"It won't keep you here and tell me when you're far away,"

"Alright, I will try to inform you on the sidelines of my work, I will spare" said Adam

"Thank you. And don't leave until I wake up" said Emili.

"All right, you go to sleep. I will accompany you for a while," said Adam, Emili nodded and closed her eyes. His dizziness had not lessened and Adam's nodding of his head made him comfortable.

After Emili fell asleep, Adam came out. He cleaned his car and looked for other activities so that he did not feel bored. After that, Adam sat in front of his laptop screen and did some work that was still not completed. Without realizing it, lunchtime was past. He finished his job and left. Emili just came out of the room to the dining table. Adam took her and sat Emili down at the dinner table. The atmosphere at lunch was warm.

"Awhile...!" Emili ran to the bathroom and vomited some of her food. Adam came and rubbed Emili's back. After getting better, Emili walked to the dinner table and took her medicine and vitamins.

"Is it better?" ask Adam. Emili nodded. Nausea drugs given by doctors are very effective in overcoming nausea.

"Yes, just a little nauseous. It will go away after taking the medicine" Emili said.

"Eat again?" bargain Adam.

"No, I'm nauseous seeing food. I'm going to go back" said Emili.

"I'm with you" said Adam. They walked to the back of the house.

"I'm tired Dam, tired every day no work,"

"I understand but is there anything you can do?" said Adam.

"So now it feels boring" said Emili.

"Patience! Until the baby is born,"

"Yes, when is your wedding? Can I take my friend to stay here?" ask Emili.

"Still next month, can be as long as they're women" Adam said.

"Yes, there might be two of them,"

"You don't feel lonely" said Adam.

"But remember, not to forget me at night,"

"No, you know we were married only by agreement,"

"Yes, who knows if you'd like to see him,"

"No, she's not as pretty as you are" Adam teased. Makes Emili smile happily.

That afternoon they spent time chatting about many things. Adam tried to make Emili happy and comfortable, because his physical condition is weak during pregnancy.

Emili was very happy, finally Adam could subdue and no longer suspect him or scold him. His life is now calm, money flows without work and he can indulge with Adam. He used to feel that the baby was an unlucky carrier but after being told by his girlfriend he could make his fortune, then Emili went back to keeping really the baby in his stomach. He will make Adam bound to him. So he doesn't have to bother looking for money. The money will flow by itself. Emili smiled happily imagining her life ahead. And he no longer wished for his irresponsible ex and ran away. To date, he does not know the news. And Emili didn't want to know anything about her ex who was just using her at the time.
