Chapter 31

The door opened and Renata entered the room and was shocked to see Adam who had gone home without her knowing.

"Adam? When did you come?" ask her mother when she sees Adam sitting on the edge of the bed with a red face and Elena who is sitting away from Adam.

"Udah from earlier ma," he replied with a heavy breath because he was still holding back anger.

"Ooh my goodness, mama was wrong. Should've knocked on the door first. You just continue, you will soon eat yes," said Renata who is wrong with Adam's attitude. He turned and grabbed the door.

"Wait ma! Elena's coming!" elena exclaimed and rushed up and walked towards Renata.

"No matter what baby, you and your husband just take a break" he whispered meaningfully.

"No ma, Elen's hungry. Come with me" said Elena, who was actually afraid that Renata knew what was going on. The girl ran to the door and came out with Renata.

"Don't be shy, mom knows. If you still want to be in the room," Renata said with a smile. Elena looked down as if embarrassed, even though she did not want to be close to the man with the status of her husband.

"Said Adam you are very good at cooking, all your cooking is good" said Renata who sat at the dinner table followed by Elena.

"Only home cooking ma, Elen is not very good at cooking," Elena humbled to see the various dishes before her.

"Let's eat, where's Adam? How not to get out?" ask Renata.

"Uhm... Maybe in a minute" said Elena. When they had just eaten one mouthful, Adam came out carrying a suitcase and draped his jacket.

'Is Adam going? Is he still angry?' elena looked at the suitcase not far from the dining table.

"You want to go, Dam?" ask Renata.

"Yes ma, papa this morning gave me a task to see the project in another area," replied Adam grabbing his plate and eating. Elena just looked at him. Things like this did not want him, not because they would be far apart but the quarrel and misunderstanding was very disturbing. And Elena also wanted to tell me about the man who entered their apartment. Elena was very scared and when they had business competition, Elena did not want to be involved. But before all he told me, Adam was angry and they avoided each other.

Renata sees something different between the two of them. But he did not want to interfere in the household affairs of his son. They're all grown up and Renata believes her son will solve this. Now he's just pretending he doesn't know.

Adam finished quickly and immediately said goodbye. Elena escorts Adam to the front of the house and Renata deliberately busies herself in the kitchen giving them a chance to solve the problem before Adam leaves.

"I'm leaving,"

"Yes,"

Just words full of talk and drama. Elena hated that but her annoyance discouraged her from talking much. Adam also felt annoyed, as if Elena did not feel guilty after what she did to Emili until the girl's condition dropped and had to be treated. The doctor said it was because of stress and a lot of thoughts. Pregnant women should not be depressed or have too many thoughts. That causes the condition of the mother and fetus is very vulnerable.

"I want it when I get home, you're already in the apartment. We're going to solve and straighten this out!" said Adam who put his suitcase in the trunk of the car.

"I don't want to be disputed right now!"

"I'm going to the apartment when you get back," Elena relented.

"Ok, I'm leaving" the man circled his car, sat at the wheel and took his car out of the yard. Elena stared at Adam's car until it was no longer visible. Elena took a deep breath and then she immediately entered.

Elena felt her stomach wrapped around her and she immediately went to the kitchen to make a warm tea for herself. Then he rested in his room. Turns out he got a monthly guest, it's worth it he's very sensitive and irritable.

That night, Elena and Renata were wearing face masks while talking a lot in Renata's room.

"What problem do you have? Not that my mom would interfere too much. But mom wants to see you get along. Maybe Adam was being obnoxious, he was being wayward as well. But I'm sure he's a loyal man who loves you" Renata said.

"There's no big deal ma, just a little misunderstanding,"

"The habit, indeed in the household of communication, honesty, openness all must be lived. So there's no misunderstanding" Renata said. Elena nodded, she could not make a sound yet while she was sticking the thick liquid of Renata's concoction mask onto her face.

Elena wanted to say that Adam was not a loyal man, as well as about honesty and all the advice from Renata was impossible. Elena wanted to tell me how terror Adam's lover, as well as the man who broke into their apartment. But Elena was afraid that it would become a bigger problem. And Elena understood how sorry Mama Renata was for her son. Maybe one day, if Elena can't bear the heartache anymore, she'll talk honestly to Mama Renata about all this.

"When Adam comes home we'll talk, he said," Elena said.

"Good, I hope things get better. And mama wants to have a grandchild soon" Renata said with a smile towards Elena. Fortunately, he had put on his mask so that he could not see his face flushed with embarrassment.

"We're not rushing ma," Elena said.

"No, you better have kids soon. Mama misses the sound of baby crying, have you come this month?" asked Renata with a smile.

"Last noon ma," said Elena.

"Good! Means later after completion, Adam has gone home it's the right time for conception," said Renata teasing Elena.

"Mamaa... Shame ah," Elena's smile made Renata relieved. Because all day the girl was moody. But tonight she can smile and laugh with Renata. Renata was a little relieved to be able to make Elena smile again, she loved the girl very much and did not want her daughter-in-law to feel sad.

Elena also felt that Renata loved her very much. He feels guilty because his son and daughter-in-law lied to Renata's mother, lying in the name of marriage. One day Elena will apologize to Renata's mother. He knew for sure Mama Renata would be very sad and hurt if he knew this marriage because of a mutually beneficial business

After cleansing her face, Elena returned to her room because papa Kim had already returned and wanted to rest. Elena lay on her back on her soft bed. Her mind drifted away towards Hans figure as well she was not hypocritical that she thought of her husband.

When Adam returns, they will solve their problems and Elena will apologize to Adam because he was carried away by emotions and sensi because of the coming month. He felt a little guilty about Adam.

Cellphone's ringing. Someone called. Elena saw who the caller was. He sat down to see what the name on his phone was. He didn't believe this, did he pick it up or let it go?
