Chapter 10

"Stop that! Enough already!" adam said when he saw the footage from the mini camera in one of the not-so-big restaurants, his name wasn't even too famous either. Maybe his future wife would go in there and do it... Aaah Adam could not even continue his words in the heart.

"Are we giving this to your mom?" asked Lee who was relaxing in Adam's office enjoying a cup of milk coffee.

"Don't let me talk to my parents. If I can't, I'll just give it up" Adam said. Lee nodded. Soon his phone rang.

Mrs Kim Calling...

"Hello ma?"

"..... "

"Okay, just send me the address," Adam turned off his phone and just threw it on the table.

"Why again?" ask Lee.

"Lunch, shirt fittings, aaaarrrrrgghhhh!" Adam screamed in frustration.

"It's time to talk" Lee said.

"Oh yes, it will be with Mili. Okay, thanks Lee! Tomorrow I'll buy it," Adam grabbed his suit and went outside.

"Main go! I'm a guest here! Hey!" shouted Lee.

"Guests? Consider it your own home!" reply Adam chuckles. Lee nodded slowly.

That afternoon Adam met his mother at one of the restaurants, Mili had not yet arrived. I don't know where he is, lately it's often disappeared.

"Mama herself?" ask Adam.

"A little while Emili comes, sit down,"

"Ma, can I have a one-on-one talk with mom, before..."

"Good day! Sorry late!" Emili came in a hurry.

"Where are you from?" ask Adam.

"From the shoot, not far from here" replied Emili.

"Just talk later, let's eat first. Mama's hungry," Renata starts eating.

"Hmmmph-g... Sorry, toilet first," Emili ran out of the room to the toilet.

"Why that girl? follow your future wife there!" said Renata.

Adam followed and stood not far from the ladies' room. He saw how Emili was vomiting. Before long Emili washed her face and came out of the toilet.

"Are you okay?" ask Adam.

"It's okay, I just catch a cold plus a diet,"

"Thanks, but I want to look perfect at our wedding" Mili said.

"Come, let's go back" Adam asked Mili.

That afternoon, during lunch they discussed about clothes, more precisely mama Renata and Mili while Adam just nodded or shook his head. Adam was actually tired of their opinions that had no meeting point. Even the lunch hour had passed they still had no deal.

Finally even Mili who paid first because there is still a schedule to fill the event in one of the malls. They had to delay their activities.

"Why are you, Dam? I don't think it's your wedding, this is your wedding" Renata said.

"Adam hesitates ma,"

"But you don't hesitate to take her to the apartment,"

"Ma, let's talk about that. Yes I was wrong to bring him there, I was wrong to have slept with him but the more here I doubt Mili,"

"Why?"

"It looks like Mili is cheating," Adam replied quickly. Instantly Renata fell silent and looked at Adam intently. His eyes narrowed slightly making Adam's guts shrivel

"If you don't want to marry her, she says Dam's honest, you don't have to slander her just because you don't want her to be sped up,"

"No ma, but if it proves true I can refuse to marry her right?"

"It may be, but if it's not proven your father will punish you,"

"Ready ma" said Adam.

Adam and his mother returned to the office complaining all the way about the disagreement between him and his future son-in-law. It's hard to get a deal. Actually he did not want to be involved much in their party but Emili asked for his opinion but still Emili did not like the input from him. If the edges of his opinion do not match the wishes of Emili he will let Emili determine with the help of Adam. But Adam rejected it outright on the grounds that his office is currently busy.

Arrive in the office yard, before they get off. Renata held Adam's hand as Adam was about to open the door.

"Dam, you said you wanted to have a four-eye talk with mama, what was that? Mom just remembered now,"

"Adam wanted to go to Mom, but the time wasn't right. Later if Adam is sure, we talk again yes," Adam asked.

"Okay, let me know soon" Renata agreed to her son's decision. Then they immediately went down and headed for a different room.

Adam went into his room and saw some files coming in and arranged on his desk. It seems like all day he has to concentrate fully.

Adam saw the reports one by one reading them carefully, circling the important parts and crossing out some mistakes. He did not want some of his projects to fail just because they were less thorough. It can cause loss.

Late in the afternoon, Lee sent a message and some photos. Adam opened the photo one by one. Friendly photos between Mili and the same man in the video he got. Who's the guy? In the past he did not want to know Emili's business to walk with who and how he was out there. But ever since his mother decided to marry them Adam was a little jealous. Is he in love with Emili? But one side of his heart doubted the girl and had not yet found the comfortable or euphoric feeling that made her drift, making him long if he did not meet, which made him shadowy.

Or is this just some sort of wedding scare? Wouldn't everyone usually do something sacred there would be a trial? But even so, it was as if he was just running on the spot. It was hard to convince her heart that she really loved Mili. Maybe you're swearing, smearing, or whatever Adam's attitude is. Oi... They do it because they want to. Equally need. Don't talk about sin and norms. They must be wrong. Is correct.

Then do you see how Adam will also be responsible even though he is not completely sure about his heart? He's a jerk, but he'll keep his promise and take responsibility. He admitted his mistake. And he will learn to fix everything. And then finally he self-doubted.

He must make sure he truly will his heart. He did not want their marriage only because of the approval of his mother, only limited to the legitimate religion and state but his heart was doubtful. They will both be hurt. Of course Emili or himself will be hurt in the future to blame each other, hurt each other because there is no love that grows between them.

That's why Adam had to postpone his wedding. He had to convince his heart as well the truth about Emili with the man whose picture Lee had sent earlier this afternoon. He must seek the truth of his relationship with Emili as well as the man. That way he can determine whether they are eligible for marriage or canceled.
