Mentari for Dawn

Mentari for Dawn
CHAPTER 89 - Meeting the Restaurant

That afternoon Moza invited Gerald to meet, because he wanted to talk about something that he thought was very important.

Actually Gerald was lazy and tired of dealing with the girl. Right now he is in a complicated situation.

But Moza kept pushing and forcing her. Until Gerald agrees to meet at the restaurant. They reserve private space so they can talk more privacy.

"Would you invite me to meet? Isn't our business long over?" Gerald asked coldly.

"You think I'd like to meet you, if nothing really mattered and disturbed my mind?" Reply Moza ketus.

"you mean? About what?"

"On Dance and Dawn" Moza replied furious.

"You know Dawn too?" Gerald asked with a frowning forehead. He was a little surprised to hear Moza mention the name of Dawn.

"Yes of course. He's my magistrate's superior" Moza replied quickly.

"So?" Gerald asked casually.

"So the man whom you made the result of your depraved deeds against Dance is Dawn? Your own step-sister?"

"Where do you know that Dawn and I are half-brothers?" Gerald asked in surprise.

"That's not an important thing to discuss. What's clear now is, what do you mean by making someone else a scapegoat for what you did?"

"Then what do you care? Why are you so angry, Fajar is responsible for marrying Tari? What good is your loss?" Gerald asked back casually.

Moza was silent to the question. He doesn't know what to answer. The girl's expression made Gerald stare. It seemed like he started reading and understanding what the girl in front of him was feeling. Because he's not a fool.

"Wait first. Don't tell me you're in love with my step-sister?" Gerald looked Moza in the eye. Moza was still silent not answering, nor returning the man's gaze before her.

"Moza, are you quiet? Is everything I think about right?" Gerald was more and more stunned by what he saw.

Why is this problem so complicated? When she started to like Dance and wanted to snatch it from Dawn, Moza also liked Dawn. Either it's a punishment for him and Moza, or a stroke of luck for him.

"If so why? And now because of your crazy plan that got them both married, I can no longer get Dawn" Moza replied with a huff. His face that had been slightly lowered, now looked at Gerald sharply and furiously. He could no longer stand to be silent.

There's no point in covering up his feelings for Gerald, who will understand everything.

"But I never gave you the idea of involving others in our plans. Making others as scapegoats to account for your actions against Tari. I never even knew that person was Dawn" Ketus Moza, who was increasingly upset to see Gerald's calm and relaxed attitude.

"Then what do you want? You want to take Dawn and get them divorced?" Asked Gerald who was still in his leisure attitude unaffected by Moza's explosive emotions.

"What do you mean, ask that?" Moza looked at Gerald and frowned. His voice tone that was a little harsh earlier, was now starting to decline.

"Actually I could have helped you, to separate them?" Gerald said sneakyly as he folded his hands over his chest.

"Wait first. This time what else are you planning to do to help me? I'm sure, there's no way you don't have a purpose" Moza looked at Gerald with suspicion.

"I don't have time to give you useless explanations. You want to, come on. If not, yes whatever. I still have a lot of business" said Gerald, still at ease, before he got up and walked out of the room.

"Gerald! Gerald wait!" Shouted Moza as he went after Gerald, because he was still not satisfied with their conversation which he said was not over.

While in a different room but still in the same restaurant, Tari and Tristan seemed to be talking seriously at one table.

In the midst of the crowd of other table dwellers, but the atmosphere of silence was very pronounced between the father and the child. Where both are still wrapped in feelings of sadness, and disappointment respectively.

"Thank you very much, son, because you want to come here with Papa. You knew? Papa misses you so much. Missed the old dance. Good, meek, loving and obedient Papa. Can maintain the dignity and honor of his family. And always looked at her with a smile. Not with anger. Papa knows maybe you are disappointed by the attitude of papa who kicked you out of the house. But all that Papa did, because papa was in a state of turmoil. Papa is overcome with emotion. Papa was so angry and embarrassed when he saw that video...."

Lirih Tristan looked at her daughter with a bitter look. He was unable to continue his words. She really hopes that Tari will understand her words and feelings. And he can change for the better. And their relationship could melt away like it used to. Because he misses his daughter so much.

Dance returned the sad look of her papa. Although he was disappointed that his father was still under the influence of the two snake women, he could also see the man's sadness and longing for him.

Perhaps he was also guilty of always replying to his father's anger with anger as well. Their relationship is getting hotter. Perhaps if he spoke well and gently, his father could understand and be devastated.

Dance held her papa's hand gently. Tristan is shocked and stunned to see and feel the warm touch of his daughter.

"And Papa is so sure that I'm like the one in the video? Am I not papa's daughter? And you've known me since I was born? Shouldn't Papa be able to see, when I lie, and when I speak the truth? If according to Papa I have humiliated my father and family, with my immoral behavior, to make Papa embarrassed, angry and disappointed, do you think I am not angry and disappointed, too, with Papa's attitude towards me? Did Papa find out, the truth about the accusations given to me? Even Papa didn't give me a chance to defend myself. Papa hit me and kicked me out. Does Papa think Papa didn't hurt me?"

Lirih Tari with tears that can not be dammed again, to wet her cheeks.

Tari's words and sobs left Tristan dumbfounded and filled. Was Dance really not as bad as she thought? Is it true that he has been unfair to his own daughter, by not giving her a chance to defend herself?

Has he become an evil parent because he does not know his own child? Especially now that her heart was saying that Dance was not lying.

"Gerald! Gerald wait a minute! Our conversation is not over yet" Moza's screaming voice chasing Gerald made both Tari and Tristan surprised. Spontaneously they immediately turned their eyes to the voice that had disturbed the silence between them.
