Mentari for Dawn

Mentari for Dawn
CHAPTER 57 - Open Each Other

"Honestly, I'm tired of all the problems that have happened in my life. Now I just want to get on with life, with the woman I married. And soon I will give birth to my son. So then.... Can we be friends now, not enemies like before? Open to each other in every way. With nothing to cover up?"

Dawn said seriously. Then he stretched out his hand in front of Dance who stared at that hand stunned.

"Mmmm.... I-i..." Dance was about to speak, yet she seemed doubtful and indecisive.

"Is there something you want to say?"

"Mmmm.... I-this is about Brother Zahra. Didn't you say that we should be open to each other in every way, with nothing to cover up anymore? Aren't you going to tell me about your relationship with Om Helmi's son-in-law? I-I've seen you look at Brother Zahra a few times with a different look.

I've also seen you deliriously say his name. Especially after that day, where I found pictures of Zahra in your study. And you're angry about it. Sorry before, I know this is your personal matter. So, I won't force you if you don't want to tell me. Forget it"

Doubtfully Tari expressed the problems that plagued her. He was ashamed of all his long words.

If he could, he was eager to retract his words that revealed how beautiful he was with the man's life. He was only afraid that Dawn would come back to be offended and angry with him.

But unexpectedly, Dawn's answer was different from her estimate.

"No. I've lost it, if we're gonna open up to each other. So I'll be consistent with what I say. I'll tell you everything, about my relationship with Zahra, and my late wife"

Dawn also told him everything about the beginning of the meeting with his wife, until the woman was killed in an accident and was pregnant. And the beginning of his meeting with Zahra, until finally he knew that the woman was his wife Rahul, his own friend.

"That's the story. When I found out that Zahra was Rahul's wife, my heart broke. Until I was so stressed, and finally looking for an impingement on drinks. Unknowingly, it happened that night. The night that I stained you, until you were pregnant like now" Dawn told me in a soft voice and a glaring gaze.

Dancing stunned to hear her husband's heartbreaking life story. Not only by family problems, but also by love problems that always make him disappointed and hurt. Pity and empathy hit him.

"I'm really sorry for what happened. I know this is very unfair to you. Suppose that on that night I could refrain from drinking, maybe none of this would have happened. If that night does not happen, maybe now you can continue your life with the man you love. Without having to deal with me" Fajar looked at Dari with a deep look of regret and guilt.

"We forget what happened. Think of it as the past, which no longer needs to be revealed. Didn't we agree to start this relationship?" Dari said with a soft and flat face.

Although to be honest, the harsh treatment he received when the man abused him to date still left him feeling traumatized. But maybe that is the rainstorm that must be passed to be able to enjoy the rainbow.

So she must be able to forget the dark event, and continue her life with her husband and prospective baby. After all, the man she loved had also betrayed and dumped her.

So there was no way he could continue his life with that brengs*k man. Especially now that the man's place has been replaced.

The clock shows at eleven o'clock at night when Dawn and Dance arrive home.

"Don't worry Mom. He just overslept. Probably exhausted. Especially it's night. I'll take him to the room" Fajar replied with a smile.

"Yes sir" Olive Ma'am nodded.

Dawn passed from before the middle-aged woman to Dance's room. Arriving there, he immediately laid his wife's body on a soft king size. The woman did not seem to move in her sleep.

After enveloping his wife's slumbering body, Fajar turned around and was about to step foot out of the room immediately. Suddenly, the woman blocked his hand.

"Pa, don't go. Don't leave the dance. Lonely dance" Dance spoke in a voice that sounded sad.

Dawn turned back to look at his wife. It turned out that the woman's eyes were still closed, a sign that she was still asleep. Apparently he was delirious.

Dawn tried to remove the clutches of her hands from Tari with one hand on the other. But the hand of the woman was so strong.

"Pa, I miss. Papa was the only parent I had, after Mama's departure"

Fajar felt as though he saw his wife delirious as that. It seems that behind the great anger and disappointment, the woman missed her father terribly.

Especially after she heard what the story was like from the mouth of Dance herself. How his relationship with his own father was destroyed by his mother and stepbrother, who had defamed him.

Dawn sat on the bed beside Dance. He looked at his wife's face with pity. It turned out that behind her stubbornness, this woman was so fragile and needed someone who could strengthen her.

While his mind was pensively thinking about the suffering of his wife's life, the woman pulled his arm. Until he fell into the arms of Dari, who immediately hugged him tightly.

This time Dawn could not do much to free herself from the clutches of the woman. He is also afraid that he will disturb the sleep of Dance if it is too hard to force him to release himself. Eventually he fell asleep in his wife's arms.

Dance fell asleep soundly while hugging the burly body that she thought was her papa. He really enjoyed his sleep. Enjoying the hug she missed so much. If this was a dream, he did not want to wake up from this beautiful dream. For a long time he had not felt a warm embrace from his papa.

Until finally he woke up and opened his eyes, which had been closed for seven more hours. His gaze immediately fell on the figure who was asleep beside him, and in his arms.

How surprised he was to find out that the figure was not his father. Except her husband was asleep. And they sleep in one bed hugging?!

"Ohhh!!" Dari woke up screaming in shock. His cry disturbed Dawn who was sleeping in her sleep, until the man jolted awake.

"What's wrong? You why?" With her eyes still heavy to open, Fajar asked anxiously looking at the seated Dance leaning on the head of the cot, with an expression that looked shock and tense.
