Mentari for Dawn

Mentari for Dawn
CHAPTER 67 - Revealing Feelings

"You know, when I heard about your accident, I was really scared. My mind was so scared that I couldn't think clearly. I feel dejavu with what happened to my first wife and child. I'm so afraid that you and your son will experience the same thing. Leaving me forever. I don't think I'd be able to do that until it happens again. Because I feel like I love you both so much. And I'm afraid of losing you"

Lirih Fajar looked at Tari deeply. Dawn held Dance's hand and kissed her for a while.

Dance slowly begins to gain consciousness, hear and feel what is around her.

"Since when did this begin. But I'm sure that I love you my wife. And I love you too, my son. You two are everything to me" Dawn kissed the belly of a distended dance.

"What did you say just now?" Lirih Dari with a weak voice and eyes that have not been wide open.

Dawn flinched and straightened his body looking at his wife. Although a sigh, but a feeling of relief and pleasure enveloped her because Dari finally realized.

"Ta-Dance? Are you conscious? Alhamdulillahot. You're doing okay, right? Where does it hurt? Tell me. Let me call the doctor" Dawn asked attentively.

"Did I not hear wrong? You said you loved me? Are you serious about what you say?" Instead of answering her husband's questions that worried her, Dari questioned the man's words. The words he wished for were reality and wanted to hear them again.

"I-i.... I'm...." Dawn stuttering. He was so nervous to answer.

The attitude of Dawn made Tari draw a disappointed breath. His feeling that seemed to fly floated, instantly like a fall by a landslide. Her hope of hearing the man say love to her was instantly gone.

Seems like he was hoping that Dawn would say such words to him, that he would hallucinate or dream? I don't know, what he just heard must not be real. He can't expect too much.

"Mmm, I-I'm sorry for my question. Maybe just now I was just hallucinating, because I was still not fully aware" said Tari so stammering, until he turned his face away.

The woman's attitude made Dawn smile with anxiety. It seemed like he could understand what his wife was feeling. "What were you hallucinating? L'm.... Say love to you?" The Temptation of Dawn that made Tari gasp and stared at him wide.

"Mmmm.... I-i...."

"What if what I said earlier is the truth? How'd you respond?" Lirih Fajar looked at his wife intensely. Trying to find out how Dance feels through the look in her eyes.

"I-i..." The Dawn Question makes Dance a scene. Confused what to answer. Just as confused as she was whether her husband's words were real, or just a joke.

"What if I told you that I love my wife so much? My wife is currently pregnant with my child. Can you accept that feeling? Or the.... I still don't have a place in your heart?" Reveal Dawn who is still trying to get the answer through the spotlight of Dance's eyes.

Dawn's statement made Tari even more surprised that he did not believe what he heard. Did Dawn really love him? Since when? Or is that man just in love with his baby?

Choked dance. Somehow he had to express his feelings at this moment. After his love was snatched away by slander, now he got it back.

"You've been getting that place for a long time. Ever since we got married, I've felt more feelings for you. But at that moment I felt that I did not have that place in your heart. Because of that place, it still belongs to Brother Zahra. The woman you once acknowledged as your wife. That's why I'm silent. Because I know myself. I'm just a dirty woman, whom you married by force. Not because of love, like when you married your first wife" Lirih Tari who was thrown away with a sad pensive look looked at her husband.

Dawn caressed his wife's face. "Everything doesn't have to start with the same story, right? My relationship with Shreya then and with you now, certainly has a different story. But the feeling I used to feel for Shreya, now I feel it for you. And so was the feeling I had for Zahra and her baby, who I thought was the little angel and angel God sent, to tragically replace my dead wife and child.

But it turns out I was wrong. They're not mine. And they were not sent to be mine. And now that feeling has evaporated, because of the presence of women and babies that I believe were indeed sent to replace my wife and child. And they both are mine. I love you, and our child" he said with a deep look and tone. Making Dance even more intense.

"You don't want to hug your husband?" The Dawn that made Tari smile with the feeling of haru, sumringah, shame and nervous being one. She hugged her husband with a matchless feeling of happiness. A feeling that seemed to make him forget about his body that was still in pain.

Gerald opened his eyes and blinked at him slowly while moaning. He stared at the white sky above him, with pain and dizziness that seemed to creep through his head.

"Gerald? Are you still kissing, baby?" A familiar soft voice shocked Gerald. He turned his head and found his mother sitting next to where he was lying.

Gerald looked around him. He was a little surprised to find himself lying on a mini-bed. And he was in a spacious and luxurious room, which looked like a hospital room.

"Ma! Mama wake! Ma, Gerald was conscious" Astrid got up from the couch, and woke up Oma Violet who was sleeping on the couch.

Surprised, the elderly woman woke up and immediately approached Gerald with her sigh. "Gerald, Oma's grandson. Thank God, you are finally dying, baby. Oma is so relieved. How are you feeling now? Which part hurts? Let Oma call the doctor" Oma Violet asked attentively.

"Oma, Mama, where am I?" Tanya Gerald looked at her body which was filled with health support tools such as infusion tubes, oxygen and others. Even his head was injured and wrapped in bandages. His body hurts all.

"You're in the hospital, baby" Astrid replied.

"Ru-hospital? What the hell happened to me?" Gerald looked at his mother.

"You had an accident last night. You still remind me?" Answer Oma Violet.

"Accident?" Gerald digested the words of his omana with a glaring gaze. Trying to remember what happened to him.
