Ghina recalled the time her husband had just died. Ella's condition was not good at the time. The girl always blamed herself, who went to school that morning.
For days Ella was in her father's study, sitting alone. Nothing he did there. He just sat quietly by the window. Look at the sky and the grassy yard. Look at the sun from sunrise to sunset again. A teddy bear, a birthday gift from his father, became his friend there.
For more than two weeks, Ella did not attend school. The smart girl was also threatened not to go to class. Ella seemed to no longer care about her future.
Ghina was forced to take over all her husband's roles, including earning a living. The woman left early in the morning, and went home late at night after her baby slept with the lights on. Ella fell asleep from exhaustion waiting for her mother to come home. It is not uncommon for Ghina to have to go home in secret, to avoid the men who collect debts from her. It was then that skewed gossip among the neighbors sprang up. They thought Ghina was playing with a lot of men.
One morning Ghina was surprised not to play. Without the wind without rain, her little girl wore a uniform and smiled sweetly. "Ma, get me some fried rice, dong. I want school. Later in the afternoon there will also be scout practice" said little Ella.
Ghina's tears spilled instantly. He did not expect his shy little girl to have returned to the ready. Ghina's spirit of life was almost gone, finally back.
"Wait, yeah. You sat there sweet. Mama wants to cook fried rice, omelet and fried nuggets for you" Ghina said cheerfully.
"The "little girl looked so strong and independent. He can do all the housework when I work. "But still, every time I go home, I always see him in the same place. She must have been very lonely and missed her father back then," Ghina inner as she wiped her tears.
"The poor girl. But her mother did not understand. His mother always thought he was tough. Not just his first love. Even until a moment ago... I. I feel jealous of him." Ghina shed tears again. Hands shaking.
"Darling, you haven't slept?" asked Albert who heard the sobs next to him. Clack! The man turned on the room lights. He then took out a piece of tissue to wipe his wife's tears.
"What else do you think? It's already one o'clock at night, you know," Albert said as he peeked at his wife's cheek.
"I'm definitely the worst mother in the world. Abandon my son, take my son's first love, and be jealous of him. What kind of mother am I?" isak Ghina's.
"Shhh, can't say that. You've been fighting hard for Ella all this time, haven't you? Now Ella has grown up to be a healthy and intelligent girl. Who if not you?" Albert held Ghina in his arms.
"But a-I ... I'm ashamed to pad myself. Even for a moment, I still felt jealous and selfish" Ghina said.
"Jealousy and selfishness are. The sign is that you really love me. Just don't overdo it" Albert said. Did Ella say anything to you?" ask the man.
Ghina shook her head. "He just sent me a message before Magrib. He said he had reached home" Ghina said.
"Honey, I was also worried when I saw Ella's cold attitude, when we exposed all her secrets. But in my opinion, he behaved so precisely because he had grown up. He understands that there is nothing more to be questioned between us" Albert explained.
"But is that possible? He should be mad at me, right?" Ghina.
"Why is he angry when everything is clear? Maybe it's true I was in his heart once. But now everything is different, right? He allowed us to get married because he loved you so much. He also thanked you for bringing back the father figure in his life" Albert said again.
"Is that so, huh?" ghina asked doubtfully.
"Hu 'um. Just like when he was a child, he felt bad because he lost his father. But then he got back up, right? Right now he is too. Ella's life is long, baby. He can still meet other better men in his life" Albert said.
"That's our job. Make sure he doesn't keep a wound alone" Albert said. "Don't get jealous too much, Ghina. My love for both of you was different. He was my sister once. Now my son" said Albert.
Ghina smile. "I'm lucky to have a husband like you" he said. His head slipped into the chest of the man's field.
"Ella is also lucky to have my father" Albert replied.
"Huh?" Ghina held back a laugh at the man's arrogance. "Hey, no one is going to like you" Ghina protested.
"Ela must have thought that way in her heart. He only had the prestige to reveal it," Albert said with great care.
"Choose, piety," said Ghina.
Albert just laughed. He was happy to see his wife's smile back. "I'm also lucky to have a wife like you" he said.
"Thank you, baby," whispered Ghina.
"There are no perfect parents in this world. I also have to learn to be a good father. There are still many opportunities for you to be a great mother" Albert said.
"Thank you, baby," Ghina said once again. "How do you feel about a child who doesn't want another sister?" ask Ghina.
"you reckon? Do we have to surprise Ella tonight? A little sister for a graduation present seemed okay too," Albert said with a mischievous smile. The fingers danced on the woman's shoulders to get closer to her body.
"Hiiisss, where are you going?" reject Ghina.
"Don't be shy, Ghina. Are we married?" Albert kissed Ghina's cheek gently.
A grrroowwl! Suddenly a voice from Ghina's perur messed things up. Albert who was almost acting wild, suddenly stopped his activities.
"That's your stomach? Are you hungry?" albert asked, holding back a laugh. "Ghina just held onto her stomach which kept ringing.
"When I eat, don't refuse. Want me to cook something?" said the man.
"Can you cook? I've never seen you hold a pot or a cauldron" Ghina said hesitantly.
"You doubt the ability of a Japanese restaurant boss?" said Albert. "Come to the kitchen. I cooked you something delicious.
Moments later a fragrant smell filled every corner of the luxurious kitchen. Oh my God, what do you think you're cooking? Apparently you're cooking Indomie?" Laughter Ghina. However, she did not thank her husband and ate with gourmand.
