Me Vs Flocking Mommy

Me Vs Flocking Mommy
Chapter 24. Longs

"Wine! Maira and Naya didn't see it, did they? Why are mama and Albert here?"

Ella raised both eyes. The beautiful girl saw a woman she was very familiar with, holding the hand of a well-dressed young man. The couple looked very cheerful.

Ella bit her lip. His heart was sore as it was sliced, but his tears could not come out. "Well, is mama here? Not working at Al's? Mama looks happier than usual" said Ella bitterly.

"You sick, La? Is it not because of the delay in the cafe?" ask Naya.

"Or because you haven't had lunch?" ask Maira anyway.

"I'm okay, guys. Let's find another shop, yuk. It says expensive." Ella invites her friend to stay away from the store.

"But here is complete. Just one store, we can buy everything" Maira said.

"Let's go! I don't want to be here. I don't have enough money to buy it" Ella said, upset. From one of the car mirrors parked nearby, Ella could see Albert and his mother walking closer and closer.

"Oh, o-okay." Maira and Naya are shocked, hearing Ella snap at him. They also followed the beautiful teenager, looking for other sewing equipment stores.

...🥀🥀🥀...

"Thank God... Everyone finally bought them. When are we working on this?" maira said with a breath of ngosan. They had toured more than six shophouses, in search of the handicraft materials they needed.

"What is it that is ok? Go home from school" Ella said. He bought his two friends a bottle of cold tea with his salary. He felt guilty for forcing his two friends out of the first store.

"Well, you're not working tomorrow, La?" ask Naya.

"Maybe we can work at the cafe, while I take care of the cashier. I'll ask Daniel first. If you can, we make it there anyway," Ella said.

"Oh, you can too" said Maira. "Yaudah, now find a snack, yuk. I want to eat spicy siomay," take the chubby-cheeked teenager.

"I'll go home, man," just refuse.

"Loh, why? I treat, deh. Come on, we rarely play with gini" said Maira.

"I'm a little tired. Take a break," said Ella.

"Yahh... why? Rarely do Maira treat us," said Naya.

"Yes, that's it. Tomorrow we will be at school" Maira said. He saw that Ella's face was indeed a bit pale.

A few moments later. "I'm home first, yeah." Ella waved her hand, while entering the angkot.

"Ra, that's not an angkot at Ella's house, is it? Where's he going?" ask Naya.

"Yes, huh? Don't know either. But from then on he looked strange. I think I'm avoiding something like that" Maira replied.

"The eyes are wet too. Like a nahan nangis. What exactly happened to him, anyway?" naya again.

...🥀🥀🥀...

"Lho, is mama here?" inner Ella. The girl immediately hid behind an acacia tree.

The high school boy was confused to see his mother in papa's grave. After separating from her two friends, Ella did not go home. He went to the tomb of the father to release all fatigue in the heart.

"Wasn't she the same mother as Albert? Now where's Al?" muttered Ella again. Ella looked around the cemetery. He did not see his employer or his car.

"I'm sorry, honey. I can't take good care of our son. He was always alone in facing everything." Ella heard her mother crying. The girl further sharpened her hearing, without moving from hiding.

"I'm also very scared. Those bank guys always meet me. I. miss you..." Ghina continued to speak before Avel Erlangga's tombstone.

"Mama still misses papa. Why did you choose Al?" Ella asked herself.

"What am I supposed to do, baby? Why are you leaving so fast? I miss you. Can you come into my dream just once?" Ghina's cry was heartbreaking.

"Mama..."

Ella, who was standing behind the acacia tree, wept. His heart ached, seeing his mother who harbored a great longing for his late father.

"I hate to see Mama walk with Albert like that. I couldn't stand to see him cry either. Pa, am I being too mean to mama?" ella whispered as if she were talking to the father.

"But I deserve to be happy too, right? Is there no hope for me to accept Albert's love?" continued Ella.

Ella looked at the mother from a distance. The young widow seemed not to want to move from the side of the last bed of the husband. "Tomorrow I'm here again, Pa. It seems like your longing for papa has not subsided yet" Ella said and then stepped away from the funeral.
