"Oh, aren't you afraid of ambulances? Then I'll hang out along the corridor to the parking lot. Wanna?" threaten Albert with a wicked smile.

"Huh? What did he say just now?" inner Ella was shocked. Ella opened the blanket that covered her face. His eyes were staring at the wall. The young girl refused to see the handsome guy. “Npapain you here?” said Ella later.

“I was just gonna deliver this for you. I'm sure you didn't have time to eat breakfast and didn't bring money this morning. Mama you panicked earlier, until you do not want breakfast because you think.” Albert placed a packet of sweet-smelling bread, and a bottle of strawberry-flavored milk on the table. It was Ella's favorite milk. The man sat down on the chair, right in front of the bed, staring at Ella intently.

"Huh! Mama again, mama again. When did he worry about me sincerely?" grumbled Ella in heart.

“I didn't expect, when talking to your teacher, to get some big news. You must be sick because you didn't eat yesterday. When do you want to get to gini?” continue the man. Her fingers rubbed Ella's hair gently. Gadia quickly brushed it off.

Until a few seconds passed, Ella remained silent. He was still staring at the white wall before him. The girl was afraid that her defense would collapse, when she met the vision of her future stepfather.

“Let me drive home. You better rest at home.” Albert rubbed Ella's fine hair. The girl could smell the delicate fragrance of expensive perfume, from her sleeves.

Ella brushed Albert's hand off his hair. Her tears flowed slowly. “Why are you so considerate of me? Usually never?” Ella repeated the words she said last night.

“La, don't discuss it here. Not good if you hear the teacher,” rebuked Albert. “Yuk, I'll take you home. I promise not to tell your mama, if we get sick at school,”, Albert said.

“What did you say was the same teacher?” Ella did not comment on Albert's call.

“I didn't say anything. I only claim to be your guardian,” replied Albert. He was very patient with Ella who was childish.

"Guardian?" repeat the girl.

Ella could not hold back her tears. The wounds in his heart grew bigger. How could the person he liked even be his stepfather's future?

“I'm sorry, yes. But I still couldn't pull your words that night,” Albert said.

“Please, don't say those words again. You better shut up and pretend you don't care about me. So that my heart does not get hurt worse,” Ella said in a raucous voice.

Albert looked at his future daughter with a sad look. But destiny cannot be changed. However, Albert has proposed to Ghina to be his wife.

“Ya. I will not force you to go home. The bread is eaten before class. Do not let your pain get worse,” said Albert.

Ella did not answer Albert's words. The girl hid her face under the covers. Albert also understood his attitude.

“I go home first. Let me know as soon as possible, if there's anything,” Albert said. He stroked Ella's head from under the blanket.

Ella felt a warm but painful tremor when Albert touched her head. Her tears spilled back down. Albert left the UKS without speaking.

Ella hears Albert's footsteps coming out of the UKS. The girl opened her blanket, and saw Albert's back disappear behind the door. Ella was stunned by the prowess of her prospective stepfather, even though she only saw the back of her body.

“Why, anyway? Saucy but nyebelin? Why should my rival be my mother? If I fight it must be in the cap of insubordination" Ella said annoyedly.
