Marrying My Ex-Husband's Boss

Marrying My Ex-Husband's Boss
Real Men Never Make Promises

Harris was sitting opposite Hadi Wijaya when her phone rang loudly. A little awkward, Harris walked away.

Harris's forehead creased as he looked at Assistant Toni who called. But he immediately answered her, afraid that it was something that concerned Reno. The shadow of death ambushed Harris, making the hand tremble and cold.

"Yes ..," said Harris, attaching a cell phone to his ear.

"I need to tell you something, sir."

"You did it, Toni! What do you think we're doing right now if we're not talking!" Harris snapped at the bald man so upset. Usually Assistant Toni never does that, always to the point and when does Toni behave this way with her?

Toni's assistant was silent for so long, that Harris couldn't wait to be made.

"Did I make you nervous? All right, you call Kira then! I know you're wrong with me too much, so you're acting this way!"

Harris prepared to turn off the call as Assistant Toni shouted frantically across the street.

"Wait, Mr ...! Sorry-sorry me!"

Harris put the phone back on, but Harris's face was already irritated and lazy.

"Mr Dirga emptied one floor in the hospital for Mrs Giza and her son. I think it's overrated."

"Isn't Papa always overreacting?" harris told an assistant who might have a big hand on every decision Papa made.

"It doesn't make sense, sir. Even here you buy an apartment unit not far from the hospital. I just handed over with the previous owner. More precisely, he wanted and offered an out-of-bounds price for the owner to sell."

Harris felt the worry of Assistant Toni. And of course, Harris was completely unaware of the production of her Papa, which was very secretive.

"What do you conclude then?" Harris just wanted to make sure he didn't get a surprise from Papa. He saves his own conjecture, and lets Assistant Toni reveal. It will be a weapon to turn things around.

"Mr Dirga has feelings for Mrs Giza—"

"I'm sure that's not what happened, Toni. Reno has been considered a child by Papa himself, so whatever Papa does is solely out of guilt."

"I saw from the way Mr. Giza looked at Mrs. Everything's different!"

"No!" Harris sat on a nearby chair, his hand tapping the arm of the chair with a strange feeling. "You must have misinterpreted it. Papa always does that to his loved ones."

"That's a different look to the one given to Madame Akira. I understand your papa as if the two palms recognize each other left and right."

Harris felt dizzy and complicated. "I'll call Papa then."

"I'm just worried, Mrs Giza is too late in her heartache. If you come with Mrs Giza, then not only Mrs Viona, but you and your family are in danger."

"I'm listening to you." Harris immediately turned off his phone, then dropped his back on the back of the chair.

"Papa you're old, still thinking about women. If you like, you should be like Aunt Mai, not Giza. Did papa curse Reno to die? Oh God!"

Harris muttered as he contacted the distant Papa overseas.

The call was answered after the second dial had not been heard.

"Have you missed, huh?" greet Dirgantara Senior cheerful.

"Papa's voice is like a man in love. Papa likes Giza, huh?" Harris accuses unceremoniously.

But alas, Dirga responded with a loud laugh.

"You kid know what the tone of voice is? You just don't know not beams." The air still laughed while talking. "Yes, love can come at any time. And actually I miss it now."

"Why should Giza, Pa?" Harris stood up with a chaotic feeling. Runyam once was the old man's business. Just look for trouble.

"Does Giza deserve to get love again?"

"Worthy, but not with Papa!" Harris protested loudly. "Imagine if until that happens, would Papa be accused of deliberately allowing Reno to die to take his wife?"

Dirgantara said seriously to respond. "What if otherwise ... Papa being a good angel who embraces the widow to be her queen? Doesn't Papa sound more noble in people's eyes?"

"Think of Reno's feelings, Pa!"

"Papa thought of Reno's feelings, so—"

"Pa, Giza is young."

Harris was frustrated. "Why is papa stubborn, anyway? Giza's the wife of the man Papa thinks is Papa's son? Is Papa not ashamed?"

Aerospace laughing. "Here you go, Papa has decided. You don't have to worry Papa. Do your job well, or you'll be Papa's down to gardener."

"Pa—astaga!" Harris looked inside his phone, the call had already been turned off unilaterally. The man became very frustrated.

Harris called Toni's assistant and reported what her father had done while there.

"It's old not a lot of worship, even women's nyari." Harris murmured when he returned to meet Hadi Wijaya who was now with Jeje.

Jeje actually accidentally met the coach who was familiar at the greeting HW. So he with his pajamas sleep looks in contrast to HW who is so dashing with his formal clothes.

"Think of the benefits you get if you join us, Jay! I'm sure your papa will support your choice." Coach HW looks friendly patting Jeje's shoulder.

"Oh, yes ... Uncle has a deposit from Uncle's daughter." HW gasps at the made-up while taking the magenta colored diary book with cute pictures framing it.

"She idolized you, but because she was too shy, so she asked Uncle for your autograph here."

Jeje has not been able to say anything because her head is full of offers HW has made to her. Even he didn't understand what HW was talking about just now.

"Yes, here .. the first page. Also write his name and words that make his confidence rise." HW pointed the first sheet with a helo kitty-headed pen.

Jeje absentmindedly signed the sheet at random. "Whose Uncle's name is?"

Jeje affixed the dot at the end of the signature, then stared at HW at a glance.

"Claire Amore .. make a cute and fat, yes, Jay!"

Jeje was stunned for a moment. He thought, HW boy. Did Coach call his son a woman?

Jeje wrote Claire's name according to what was in her head. Claire Amor's.

"Girls love football too, Uncle? Shouldn't have asked for the signature of a Korean actor or singer, huh?"

Jeje simply wrote the word 'be yourself' under Claire's name with little flowers as sweetener. To be honest, he didn't know what to write.

Jeje raised her face when HW did not answer her. "Claire likes balls?" reset Jeje.

"Not—ya, Uncle means yes. Claire likes balls, but she hides them from everyone. He was too soft and shy to cheer on the field. So he went with Uncle so as not to be too 'looking' .. You know what Uncle means?"

HW plays both sides of his fingers on the side of the head like making two quotes. Jeje nodded in understanding, then they both laughed.

"Hurry up, you guys are familiar?" Harris walked over without leaving a trace of her previous annoyance. The man smiled. Jeje seems to know Hadi Wijaya well.

"My son is the same age as Jay .. we only understand each other between men." Hadi Wijaya looked awkward and embarrassed at Harris's words just now.

Hadi Wijaya who openings anyone can enter and adjacent to a man as great as Harris Dirgantara is something extraordinary. It could be said achievement.

Harris smiled in response. The sharp eyes of the man stared at Hadi Wijaya for a moment. The man looked natural. Harris had no room for suspicion.

"I leave all the decisions in the hands of Jay, Coach .. I hope whatever Jay's decision, Coach is ready to accept with an airy heart."

When Harris' gaze moved to Jeje, Jeje became confused. For a second he was glued, then his gaze fell on the paper on the table.

Quickly, Jeje attributed Hadi Wijaya's arrival to the headline on the paper. He immediately smiled.

"I still have to finish my school, Coach. Even my club asked me to join the senior team after graduating High School. And I think I'm still an amateur for that lucrative offer. Let me forge myself and repay the kindness of my club now, Coach. Sorry, I let Coach down."

Jeje stood up with difficulty, then bowed as a sign of sincere apology. Jeje has decided so. He had to fulfill his promise to the Papa, just pursuing his goal.

"Well, I'm sure, upbringing can never be betrayed. I salute Jay's steadfastness that you taught me, sir. I'm amazed at you." Hadi Wijaya was not disappointed. He even patted Jeje's shoulder.

"I'm looking forward to you joining my club someday."

Harris was not proud of the compliment. He was always careful with every flattery that came. Can not be complacent, because there will be the meaning of each flattering praise. Harris did not want to fall and crumble because of the sweet flattery on the lips.

They both drove Hadi Wijaya to leave the magnificent residence of the Aerospace Family. The two embrace each other on the shoulders accompanied by a proud pat on Jeje's shoulder.

"True men never break a promise." Harris turned to Jeje who was smiling in embarrassment at the sentence.
