The house sounds so boisterous from the front porch. The laughter and screams of small creatures seemed to call the old man who was still crossing the porch of the house. The smiles of the two were engraved, the longing that was bursting was clearly implied on the ripples of their faces.
Harris' hand impatiently pushed the door slowly. Impressed to break down and let the main door open wide. His long steps crossed the living room quickly. Even Kira couldn't even align her steps with her husband.
The song of this hard man immediately softened looking at the six pieces of his heart getting along playing in the middle room which was conjured into a playing area. Messy but very beautiful. A smile so sweet is full of happiness.
"Sadly Mama.." Kira's voice was made as usual as possible, but a group of children who were busy with the toy turned almost in unison. Even his three nannies stood hastily welcoming their masters and mistresses. Bend for a moment before paying attention to the foster child.
Jen runs ahead of the troupe to crash into a connecting Papa that exceeds her biological father. Channeling the yearning that gathered despite not twenty-four hours they parted.
"Why don't you tell me it was the same Jen?" Jen's little hands coiled around her, her head looking up at her smiling papa. Between wanting to be angry but seeing her papa smile, Jen's annoyance changed a spoiled whimper.
"Papa took care of a little important business and involved Mama..." Harris lowered his body in line with Jen. "I'm sorry, Papa?"
"He-em," Jen's head nod was so steady, once again hugging her Papa warmly.
Harris rolled towards Kira, so easily Jen fell over with her Papa. Then reward the princess who made him fall this dear with a kiss on the cheek and the tip of his head. Harris' long index finger flicked the tip of Jen's nose that was not so sharp.
Kira who has been successfully achieved by Jeje just sniffed his shoulders, let alone Ranu pushed Jeje away from his Mama.
"Sister Je, move...Nanu first.." Ranu's small hands that are not comparable to Jeje's larger legs only produce small claps that make amused.
"Jeje didn't act when Mama left?" Kira asked after immersing a kiss on her son's forehead. Cupping Jeje's cheeks that grinned wide because the answer was predictable.
Kira releases her hand and grabs Ranu in her cradle. Ranu's bulging body made Kira grimace restrained. His strength had not been fully accumulated, but he did not dare to show in front of his children.
"Don't ask Jeje, she's gonna be pissing!" Jen's chirps are embracing her Papa with Agiel in her arms. Azziel who did not get a hug, wobbly waiting for his turn.
Jeje's menacing, sharp gaze turned towards Jen, but the girl didn't care. Under her Papa's protection, Jen feels safe.
All of this did not escape Kira's attention. Excel who was hugging his mother understood what the woman who had troubled her had given him life.
"Grandfather can control Jeje Ma, Mama take it easy," pats on his back, making Kira smile beside his eldest son's head.
"Mama trusts you" whispered Kira. Actually, that's not what concerns Kira, but Jen's overly spoiled attitude to her Papa that worries her. Harris was too soft on Jen that could have gotten Jen off the hook. Kira didn't want that to happen.
"Mama's son must be a good and understanding child. No trouble for anyone, right?" Kira patted Excel's cheek gently. Excel is already a teenager, his height almost matches his. High for a teenager his age. No wonder Excel is now the target of girls his age. In addition, Excel is quite charming with a sharp nose and sharp eyes. Whether it's just Kira's feelings or Excel's learning from Harris, the two men's attitudes are almost similar. Cold and stiff. For Kira, Excel is worse.
Excel's expensive nods and smiles look faint, making Kira sigh. "Have you been unhappy all this time, Cel?" The inner whisper of Kira. Not now, Kira needs to talk to Excel later.
Azziel pulled out big legs to get a turn. Ranu who was taken down forcibly by Kira scowled and turned towards his Papa who was already sitting on the long sofa with Agiel writhing spoiled in his Papa chest. Both of them were in a very fierce war.
"Azziel misses Mama? Azziel naughty not as long as Grandpa?" There was no answer, Azziel lay down on his mother's chest, spoiled.
Dribbling Excel, Kira walks while rubbing her son's head. There was a deep sense of guilt for his biggest son. The burden of divorce of his parents. The most understanding of the suffering of his mother, when he was young.
"I'm sorry Mama, Cel. Mama's less time for you!" Kira's heart screams are born in the corner of her eyes.
"In exchange for Papa and Mama for leaving you too long, Papa will make one request from each of you. But, Papa didn't grant any strange and age-appropriate requests!" A soft voice without leaving the slightest firmness, making a smile on the lips of the three children. While the other three did not care so much because they did not really understand.
"Now we're content playing, while Papa's not working," Harris slumped off the couch, blending in with his kids. While Kira still notices Excel in silence.
"Sir Excel, may I have a minute please?" Pinta Kira standing up. Feeling called, Excel got up to follow his mother. Harris was astonished and curious, though he let his wife and son go. Maybe there is a problem, he thought.
"What can you help, Ma?" Excel offers a view of the entire room. Yeah, Kira brought Excel to her room.
Kira turned to face Excel with an indecipherable look. Afraid that all this time he's been burdening his son.
"Is your sister happy?"
Excel's forehead is crinkled deep, the fine strokes making him even more handsome. "What's your talk?"
"Darling, Mama sees you rarely smile and look moody. What the hell all this time, Brother wasn't happy?" Kira approaches Excel, looking into the eyes that still imply surprise.
"Ma..." Excel grabbed his mother's hand, led her to the bed and sat her down. Excel gathers in front of the woman who gave birth to him.
"Excuse Excel if Excel's attitude makes you think no-no. Excel is happy with you, as long as your smile is always painted. For Excel, Mama's happiness is everything."
"But baby, Mama thinks you're too stiff and indifferent. Is there anything else you're hiding from your mom?"
"There is, Ma. I think Mama paid too much attention to me. Excel used to be like this, right?"
"Yes, but...."
"Ma, doesn't Excel always tell you anything about Excel?" Highlight Excel eyes full of confidence. "Don't think I'm unhappy, I'm always happy even if we're still struggling. Mom is the source of Excel's happiness."
Unable to hold haru, Kira hit Excel. Kira's cry was full of gratitude. His life was full of grace even though to achieve this, his life path had to be full of wounds and bloody.
On the doorstep, Harris deployed her small army to shower their Mama lovingly. Since entering the room, Harris heard all the conversations of her son and mother. Undeniably deep down, he felt proud. Proud of such a stoic and mature son. His successor. Who will replace Harris Dirgantara, must be strong and sturdy. Like a mountain that does not waver even though a storm shakes it.
