Marrying My Ex-Husband's Boss

Marrying My Ex-Husband's Boss
If I Marry You

Viona tightened the black jacket she was wearing, her hands shaking violently. But he had no choice. Slowly, he opened the car door, and closed it again.

Viona raised the head covering that was fused with the jacket she was wearing. Then he started walking towards his house. His heart raced fiercely, thus making his body tremble. Afraid and anxious too.

Viona reached the end of the fence of her house which was hit by a dim light. Viona vines against the wall of the fence with her back, to see the terrace of her house that looks dark. Viona heaved a sigh of relief, upon seeing the terrace of her house empty. No one was there.

He straightened his body, and opened his head covering. Repeatedly he exhaled with relief, occasionally wiping his forehead. At least tonight I can sleep peacefully, he thought.

Viona stepped back a few steps before turning around, towards her car was. But...

"As long as I'm alive you can't avoid me, Viona!"

The relief on Viona's face subsided, instantly alternating shock and fear. His lips twitched, his body inching backwards.

"If that's all you can do to avoid me, then don't call me Martin, who is able to fool the Air," a hoarse voice boomed back as the look of that tyrannical face appeared in the light of the light. The hat he wore covered most of his face, adding to the impression of being mysterious and cruel.

"Stop bothering me, Martin! We're long over!" Viona exclaimed, though she trembled but she tried to stay against Martin.

The skinny man took a few steps forward, and leaned his face towards Viona. "I'll stop bothering you, just as long as you give up all your money! The money you made with me first!"

Viona turned away as she felt Martin's breath that gave off a strong aroma from the alcohol she consumed.

"You know where I am from Dela, don't you?" Viona pulled the corner of her lips full of ridicule, her tail glancing at the man who had acted like a loser by leaving her.

"You're still stupid, Tin. You trust Dela, who has spent my money! Borrowing me with a pile of debt! And now, he's pinning his mistake on me? Can't you see how I'm doing now? If the money's still on me, why would I live like a slave who has to humble himself in front of Harris, huh?"

In the dimness of Viona's sharp gaze was so creepy, raining towards Martin who was fixated on hearing Viona's words. Dela who showed him, Viona's whereabouts. Accusing Viona of having spent the property that originally belonged to Martin but above the name Viona.

"Did you forget, I'm a tall Viona! No begging for mercy, let alone the man who dumped me!"

Unknowingly Viona had shed tears, saying that, making her remember again with her slump first.

"Then all this, where did you get it? Where'd you sell yourself, huh?" Martin still refuses to believe that, for him, Viona's now well-deserved life remains suspicious.

Viona was inflamed, "Dear what you say, Martin!" Viona floated her index finger right at the tip of Martin's nose. "Pity Harris is what makes me what I am! Because he's the one I can be now!"

"You think I believe?" Martin smiled cynically. "You must have blackmailed Harris with the kid you were born with! Where is he now? I will do the same with you!"

Viona gasped, she was suddenly on high alert, "The child is not there! Listen, Martin! You should know, Dela lied to you! He's taken all my money and all the assets in my name!"

"Alright, Dela lied to me, but there's no harm if I ask for a little money from you! After all, you also enjoyed my money first, now is the time for you to pay it all back!"

Viona inched back a few steps, but Martin quickly caught up with her. His long steps did not make it difficult for him to catch Viona's arm.

"Let go, Tin! Or I'll scream!" Viona flicked her hand, but in vain. Martin's grip so powerfully pierced his arm.

"Give me your money, cheap!" Martin pulls Viona into his house. He ignored the groans of pain from the woman who had been with him.

"Braven you, Martin!" Viona hit her ass on the part of the hand that held her.

Johan watched and listened to all that, the distance was close enough to see how Viona was trying to protect her son.

As fast as lightning he darted towards the two who were already halfway to the house. Previously, he had contacted Doni, now that Doni and some of his colleagues were heading here. His job is to buy time until they get here.

"Take him off" Hardik Johan, who had reached the threshold of the fence.

As powerful as Viona turned her arm as Martin felt off guard and loosened his grip. He darted behind Johan who was walking closer.

"Well, apparently Dirgantara is still watching his girlfriend who has been dumped, yes!" Martin chuckled crisply.

"You're tired of living apparently!" Johan looked at Martin with hostility. Not just because he hurt Harris, but Viona and Nicky. Although it seems, Martin does not know Nicky.

Martin chuckled again, "You want to be a hero to your stupid boss? Or do you want to be called a savior by that woman?"

"As far as you want to say what! You have no right to disturb Viona! He's not yours anymore!" Replied Johan flat impressed cold.

Martin looked at Johan full of suspicion, this was not Johan's character. Johan never took the time to take down his enemy. Even if he was only alone, he would storm out as soon as possible. He must have a plan, Martin thought. Martin stepped to the side, avoiding Johan who kept looking at him warily.

"Well, this time I'll go, but remember I'll come again! You hear that, Viona?!"

Unavoidable, Martin ran as fast as lightning leaving Viona's courtyard. Johan tried to catch up but he realized he would not be able to achieve it. So he reached into the cell phone in his pocket to contact Doni.

"I'll be there soon" the voice on the phone echoed in Johan's ear.

"Target escapes, he uses a black sport bike, and is dressed all in black" Johan replied.

"I see it, we're going on a chase!" Doni instantly turned off the connection.

"Thank you, Jo!" Viona from behind.

Johan turned around while putting his phone back in his pocket. "When did this happen?"

Viona closed her lips, strengthening her heart to tell the truth. "About one this week."

Viona's hands clutched together, cold sweat flooding all over her body.

"So this is why you left Nicky and went home for the night?"

"I don't want Martin to know where his son is, he's gonna take him away from me!"

Viona lowered her head, her biggest fear being losing her son. His body trembled as the shadow flashed across his mind. "I'm scared, Jo!"

"Why didn't you tell me? At least I can take care of you two! You don't have to endure it yourself!" Johan stretched out his hand, shaking Viona's shoulder slowly.

Viona was silent, but the woman's tears had flooded with sobbing. Her lentic fingers rubbed rough wet cheeks.

Johan sighed, taking the little body of the woman into his arms. "What do you think if I marry you?"
