Marrying an Imperfect Man

Marrying an Imperfect Man
Lunch

Lais stared out the car window. His mind was filled with questions about the arrival of his father who immediately asked the whereabouts of his mother. Did her mother really run away?Where's her mom now? What made her mother run away?

Questions filled Lais' mind.

"Ck." Lais clicked then let out a long breath.

"Why?" tanya Revan who had been secretly watching the movements of Lais. He saw that since leaving his apartment, Lais always looked out the window and occasionally took a deep breath and exhaled strongly.

Lais looked ahead and shook her head. Again he exhaled strongly, but this time from his mouth.

"Don't lie. I know you're restless. Are you thinking about your mom?" ask Revan.

Lais looked up and looked out the window again.

"Lais, if you're worried about her, why don't you tell people to look for her?"

"Papa must have spread his people to find mama. But there's no results, right? Then why would I do the same." declined Lais.

"Who knows that the person you sent could find traces of the Madam" Revan said.

Lais quiet. In his honest heart he was worried about the state of his mother, but he felt his disappointment made Lais reluctant to look for the existence of his mother.

Revan watches his friend who is back in silence.

"Aren't you curious about the lady?" tanyakanya.

Lais turned her head and gave a sharp look at Revan.

"OKs. Don't look at me like that."

Lais looked out again.

"I know about something!" revan whispers.

"Can you shut up!!" snapped Lais ketus.

Revan silent. But soon he returned to voice.

"Don't want to hear from me?"

"Shut up!!!" furious Lais.

"Okay...silence!..silence." Revan's voice was almost inaudible He then made a motion to lock his mouth and throw the key. Revan sat down and closed his eyes.

Seeing that Revan was no longer chatty, Lais glanced at him.

Not to keep on coaxing me to sleep

"Young master, are we stopping for lunch?" ask Mr. Munir.

"Mm." reply Lais assented.

Lais turned her head back towards Revan when she heard his smooth snoring.

Very quickly he fell asleep. His life was relaxed as if without burden. The life I always dreamed of.

"Go ahead sir! We'll find another place!" lais orders when Mr. Munir is about to turn to a restaurant that seems luxurious.

"Okay, Young Master." replied Mr. Munir. His heart became sad. He thought Lais could no longer afford to eat at the luxury restaurant he used to.

"Where is Young Master going to have lunch?" ask Mr. Munir.

"That's delicious and I've never been to sir." replied Lais. It means an ordinary shop. Because Lais has never eaten in an ordinary stall. He followed Revan's lead, leaned back and closed his eyes.

"The place you've never been. All the fancy restos he's been to. What's that supposed?" mister Munir muttered in his heart. "I know." Pak Munir's wrinkled face was immediately cheerful when he remembered his subscription stall if he was traveling alone without his employer.

Shortly afterwards, Mr. Munir turned his car into a simple but clean restaurant.

"May be in accordance with what Mr. Lais would like." he prayed. He then turned his body back.

"Sir we've arrived." Mr. Munir woke Lais and Revan. The real Lais had yet to fall asleep, instantly opening her eyes.

"Where is this sir?" tanyakanya.

"This is my restaurant, sir. The place is clean and the food is good." Mr. Munir smacked.

Lais opened the door and went down, followed by Mr. Munir.

"Mr Revan?" ask Mr. Munir because Lais didn't wake Revan.

"Leave it." answered Lais.

Who told you to sleep.

"But sir?" ask Mr. Munir. "Okay sir" he replied as Lais's eyes looked at him giving the order to obey him.

Mr. Munir accompanied Lais into the restaurant. Like a guide, he showed everything in the restaurant and they were food that he thought was good. He also taught Lais how to order food and pay for it. Because this restaurant is different from the restaurant that stayed sitting and the waiter came. Here, they must queue while carrying a tray containing empty plates.

Lais listened to Mr. Munir's rant while looking at the long queue in front of him.

"Where to take the tray and the plate?" tanyanya flat.

"There, sir. Maruli!"

Lais followed Mr. Munir. He saw a pile of trays and plates. He noticed the people cleaning the dishes with the stone wipes put on the tub.

Lais mimicked what the man was doing. He cleaned his plate and put it on the tray and began to queue

"Master! Let me be the one who digress. You just wait while sitting on the chair. Tian just said the food you want to eat."

"No need." answered Lais short.

"Tapj sir is..."

"Mr just stand in line for yourself. I can."

"Good sir." Mr. Munir's heart was sad again. He picked up the tray and plate and lined up as he watched Lais from behind.

The appearance of his young master was now different. Lais, who daily wears formal clothes, now only wears t-shirts and jeans.

Lais observed food she had never encountered before.

"What would you eat?" ask waiter.

Lais looked up. He saw a young man smiling kindly at him.

"Good!"

The young man then put rice and other food on Lais' plate.

"This is the best-selling?" lais asked in astonishment while observing the food on her plate.

"Yes, sir. The crowd ordered this." the young man explained.

Lais brought her food to the table. A moment later Mr. Munir sat down to join him.

"Why, Master?" asked Mr. Munir when he saw Lais just looking at his meal.

"What is satay?" asked Lais who was astonished to see the fat satay.

"That's.sate brutu sir." replied Mr. Munir who felt amused because Lais chose a food that he did not know what it was.

"Brutu?!"lais asked as she furrowed her brows. His eyes looked questioningly at Mr. Amir.

"The brand.mmm.the chicken, sir." replied Mr. Munir hesitated.

Lais's face changed. Slowly he pushed his plate away. He then glanced at Mr. Munir's plate.

"If that?" tanyakanya.

"It's liwet rice, sir."

"What's white like a lump of milk?"

"Oh.this is the egg white that is whipped until foaming, then steamed like it. I know less too. This is an egg." said Mr. Munir.

Lais is full of taste. Mr. Munir then handed Lais his plate of food.

"If you like it, just eat it!" said Mr. Munir gently.

"Mr?" ask Lais. He thought Mr. Munir would answer that he would eat his sate bahenol.

"I..mm.mm will be queuing again." replied Mr. Munir staring strangely at Lais' plate.

"Don't you want this?" show Lais.

Mr. Munir nodded slowly.

"But the servant's word is best-selling and delicious." murmured Lais.

"Taste for each one, sir. For others delicious, for me not necessarily. And again, I did not like the brutu from the first."

Lais understands. Then he stood up.

"Gentleman where are you going?" ask Mr. Munir.

"You need to wait again." replied Lais.

"Master sit down. Let me queue up. My food was for you, if you will. If not, you just say what you want to eat." Mr. Munir took Lais by the hand and forced him to sit down.

"Master please. Let me queue instead of you choosing the wrong food again." pinta Pak Munir.

"All right." Lais relented and let Mr. Munir in line.

As Lais was sitting waiting for Mr. Munir, Revan came. He sat in the front seat of Lais.

"Why not wake me up?" spray Revan.

"Make what?Hungry will wake up alone." replied Lais.

"Well good" said Revan commenting on the dishes on his front plate. He didn't answer Lais.

"It's your food?" ask Revan

Lais shakes.

"Mister Munir's?Oh, where's Mr Munir going?"

"That!" point at Laia with her eyes. Revan followed Lais's eyes. He saw Mr. Munir was struggling while carrying a tray. Seeing Mr. Munir waiting in line for food, Revan concluded that the food on the plate did not have Mr. Munir

"thank you. It turns out you're a great friend." praise Revan for making Lais' eyebrows wrinkle.

Revan without hesitation directly ate the sate bahenol that originally belonged to Lais greedily.

"Mmm.enak." praise Revan with his mouth full.

Lais narrowed her eyes looking amusedly at Revan.

"It's sir." Mr. Munir came and put a plate of food in front of Lais. "Mr Renan?!" mister Munir exclaimed when he saw Revan ravenously eating.

"Mm.kenaoa sir. Not a father, right?"

"I.i.iya anyway. But..."

Lais coded Mr. Munir with his eyes so that Mr. Munir would not tell Revan.

"But why, sir?" ask Revan.

"Oh.ngak. It'sit's nothing. Please continue." replied Mr. Munir and sat down

Just like Lais, Mr. Munir stared amusedly. While Laia enjoyed the food without seeing Revan.

"Wow.apparently the taste of the cuisine at the restaurant inj amazing" said Revan praised after finishing the meal.

Lais kept away her plate that still had leftovers.

"Not good, sir?" asked Mr. Munir worried because he chose food for Lais.

"Enak." answered Lais.

Munir silently stared at Lais' plate.

"Sir Munir. Lais cannot eat in large quantities. Not like us." Revan said as he looked at Mr. Munir's worries.

"Oo.but sir, sorry I just suggested. You better finish every meal you eat. Because in every food there is blessing."

"That's it, sir." replied Lais. "But ..I was full just by watching him eat" Lais pointed to Revan.

Now Mr. Munir understands. Missing page***** dined when Revan saw the gluttonous feeding.
