Marrying an Imperfect Man

Marrying an Imperfect Man
Reverie Mr. Munir

Mr. Munir stood at the end of the room watching the busyness that was taking place. The EO people Lais hired were decorating the mansion.

"Sir Ne, how come you're dumb? Help-help there!" reprimand Bu Ira while coming to her husband.

"Pak Ne is tired ma'am." said Mr. Munir. He moved out of his place and sat down in the chair nearby. Mr. Munir straightened his legs and lashed his thighs.

"Why?" ask Mom Ira softly. He sat down next to Munir.

"Since returning home from the hospital, Mr. Ne was like something was thought of. Is this about the wedding plan, Mama Nah? Mr Ne is not willing to let go of Mak Nah?"

Ms. Ira looked at her husband with a worried heart. She was afraid that her husband still had feelings for Mak Nah. Although he had proposed to live polygamy, but it was because of his guilt towards Mak Nah. He also felt pain when he had to share.

Mr. Munir took a deep breath.

"Not willing to let go. But you feel guilty. Si Nah, although finally married later but she immediately became a mother. Bukne can imagine her burden. Moreover, from what I know, Nah's face is similar to Malik's late wife. Will Nah not live in the shadow of that woman?" said Mr. Munir at length.

Mom Ira smiled faintly.

"Sir. If Pakne is sincere, then Pakne's job is only to pray for Mak Nah. May what pakne worries not happen." Gently Bu Ira tried to calm her husband's turmoil.

Ms. Ira was not unaware that there was a jealous tone in Mr. Munir's words. The reason the man had conveyed was only to cover up his true feelings. But Ms. Ira was heartened to let her husband overcome his own turmoil.

"Pakne, I'm going to the twins' room first. Want to see if they're ready." said Miss Ira.

Mr. Munir just nodded. His face still looked gloomy like it was carrying a heavy burden.

After Bu Ira left, Mr. Munir breathed heavily.

"Well, why when you know you can let go of your feelings for me, this heart is not willing. Am I greedy." Inner Mr. Munir.

He again took a deep breath while remembering his conversation with Mak Nah when he was asked by Lais to help take care of the return of Seruni because Mr. Malik was getting work that could not be left behind.

"Well, are you really going to marry that guy?" ask Munir when you get a chance.

They were at Mr. Malik's house.

Mak Nah answered. He was busy moving Seruni's things.

"Mom! Tonight I'll accompany Seruni, right?" Seruni came while hugging a frame.

Mak Nah smiled. He stroked Seruni's hair.

"Mother will accompany you until you come." replied Mak Nah gently.

Seruni then turned the frame he held and turned it. Mr. Munir was shocked when he saw the face of the woman in the frame held by Seruni.

"He who?" ask Mr. Munir spontaneously.

He can't be Sutinah right? Is it that deep their relationship until Malik dares to keep his picture of Sutinah."

Seruni did not answer Mr. Munir's question. He even raised a photo of his mother in front of Mak Nah.

"This is a picture of my mother always with me. From tonight I want my mother to be with me. Not just a photo" said Seruni ambiguous to make Mr. Munir become convinced that the woman in the photo is Mak Nah.

"So right. They exchanged photos. Then Sutinah must have saved the man's photo."

Mak Nah took a photo held by Seruni. She rubbed Riana's face with a smile.

Sorry if I went into your family. Good intentions. I will take good care of your son.

"Hem." Mr. berdehem. His heart was upset to see that Mak Nah and Seruni ignored his existence.

"Well, can we talk for a second?" said Mr. Munir with a tone more to command than to ask.

"Seruni went back to the room first huh. Mom will follow. I'll have a chat with Mr. Lais' driver."

Mr. Munir glanced in annoyance when Mak Nah called him Lais' driver.

You really don't admit me, Nah.

Seruni nodded and then headed towards her room.

"Their relationship is that close. Until we exchange photos of everything." cynical Mr. Munir.

Mak Nah furrowed her brows hearing Mr. Munir's cynical remarks. But he soon realized that Mr. Munir must have misunderstood.

Mak Nah laughed softly.

Mr. Munir melengos.

The photo must have been a picture of Sutinah when she was in her thirties.

"It's Riana. Almarhumah Mr. Malik's wife." replied Mak Nah sad.

Mr. Munir was shocked to mix in.

"I understand now why Seruni called you mother. That's because your face looks a lot like his mother's. So you want to marry Malik just for the sake of Seruni right? Not because you love that guy?" ask Mr. Munir expectantly. Mama is his first love. There is a sense of unwillingness if owned by others.

Again, just a thin smile.

"Married it can't be just because of one party. Because when I marry Mr. Malik, then I must really accept not only Seruni but also Mr. Malik. Because we will become one family, no way I will consider him a stranger forever." said Mak Nah then smiled.

Mr. Munir swallowed. He felt something on his chest.

"Well, but his wife." said Mr. Munir hanging.

"Why wife? Look me? What if we look alike?"

"I'm afraid he's seen his wife in you so he doesn't really accept you for who you are. Sorry don't get me wrong, I'm just worried about you."

Mak smiled back.

"For me it doesn't matter. If he still remembers his wife, he is a faithful man. Even though he was left dead, he was still faithful. Isn't that amazing? Not like someone." insinuated Mak Nah.

Mr. Munir bowed because what Mak Nah said was very telling.

"Don't worry about me. It's not your job to worry about me. Just look at Ira. She's a good woman. Don't you hurt him let alone take me to hurt him. I will not be ready forever. Let the past be the past. Living for the future. And my future is Mr. Malik."

Mr. Munir is getting stifled.

"Go home! I'll take a taxi later. It's not good if we're just two cars."

"But Mr. Lais' message.."

"Say that I asked!"

It seems like there's no point in me here and Nah will definitely be chuckling with her wishes.

"Sir Ne!!" bu Ira's loud call resuscitated Mr. Munir from his daydream.

"Aa..What's up, Miss Ne?" Mr. Munir stuttered in shock.

Ms. Ira shook her head.

"Until my mouth calls you sir, why the hell? Just daydream." Ma'am Ira said with a sullen face.

Mr. Munir got up from his seat. He hugged Ira.

"Maybe my battery needs to be charged by Bu Ne. Yuk...!" rayu Mr. Munir.

"Isa. Mr. Lais calls Mr. Ne. Asked to pick up clothes at his boutique. Cepetan, the clothing will be worn tonight." Ira's mother unraveled Mr. Munir's embrace and pushed the man's body away.

With a shaky move, Mr. Munir executed Lais' orders.
