Seeing Angela

'Mistress!" Anton saluted when his superior wife arrived.

"How's the condition?" Madam Robert waved her hand as a sign of receiving Anton's salute.

"The operation is still ongoing Madam." replied Anton with a tired-looking face.

"Anton, you go home! Later tonight jamu can come again. We're gonna take care of papa!" lais's word.

"No young master. Let me be here!" pinta Anton's.

"Anton, listen to Lais! You need rest too. Look at that face of yours that I look like. You must be exhausted." Mrs Robert spoke.

"Van, you too. Go back to the office. While you handle the office. I will accompany my mother until the afternoon. Later in the afternoon, you come here. I'll go home and tell Aruna."

"good. My lady stay first." Revan told Mrs Robert.

"Tons!" Revan invites Anton to go home together.

"Ma!" Lais clasped Madam Robert's hand which looked worried.

"He's gonna be okay, kid?"

"May ma. Let's just pray."

Robert dropped his head on Lais' shoulder. Lais hugged her mother. They're waiting for Mr. Robert's operation in silence.

"Where are you going?" Anton stops his steps as Revan turns.

"To the canteen. Lais hasn't had lunch. I'll buy him food." replied Revan then continued his steps towards the cafeteria. Anton chasing.

"We should eat first, too. I haven't eaten either. Even this morning was just a breakfast of bread." Anton taught Revan's steps.

"Yes. I'm hungry too." Revan replied.

They ordered food as soon as they reached the cafeteria. Revan saw the cafeteria room looking for an empty seat.

"I'm out there!" He pointed to the empty chair he was referring to. Anton nodded.

Revan went to the chair and sat down waiting for Anton to bring their food. Revan again informed Nisa of Mr. Robert's condition and she told him that if he went home from the office he would go to the hospital in exchange for accompanying Mrs Robert with Lais. Revan also reminds Nisa not to tell Aruna first because Lais himself will tell her.

"Food is coming." Anton put the tray containing the food they ordered. Revan saved his phone and took his message food.

"Wrapped up?"

"Will be brought here when you're ready."

"Oh."

They eat quickly and calmly. Finished eating while having an order menu for Lais and Madame Robert, Revan and Anton chatted.

"Actually what happened until you could have a heart attack to collapse like this?"

"I certainly don't know either. Only the company's condition has not been so good lately." Anton replied.

Anton and Revam split up. Revan is back in the operating room. It's walking fast. In front of the operating room he saw Lais hugging her sleeping mother. Laia also closed her eyes.

Revan approached and whispered.

"Lais!"

Lais opened her eyes, rubbed a few times and opened her eyes perfectly.

"You? Why are you still here?" Laia spoke without changing her sitting position for fear of waking her mother.

"It's rice. You eat first. Belim.lunch, right? I also bought it for your mother. He was afraid he hadn't had lunch. Yes eat! I'm staying." Revan handed over the food he brought.

"Mama woke up? Sorry."

"No paoa. Mama has had enough rest. No word yet?" Mrs Robert stared at the door of the operating room that was still closed and the lights were still on sign the operation was still ongoing.

"Why long? Is the condition so bad?" muttered.

"They're inside trying to ma. Let's help prayer. I'm sure papa's strong." Lais took food from Revan. "Feed me ma!"

"You only. Mama doesn't taste." Mrs Robert pushed the food plan that Lais offered.

Lais opened the food box. He took a spoonful and returned it to Lady Robert.

"Ma, eat yes! Lais bribe. Please ma, don't make Lais worry. Mama loves Lais, right?"

Madam Robert looked into the eyes of the son.

"Hhhh!" Lais moves a spoonful of food.

Mrs Robery opened her mouth. Lais feeds food into the face of her mother.

"Mama eat alone. You eat too! I see there's another rice box. When did you buy it?" Madam Robert took the rice box from Lais' hand.

"Revan bought it."

Lais nodded confirming his mother's speech. She followed what her mother did because she was hungry.

Finish eating Lais take their used boxes of rice.

"Ma, I'm throwing this away first. Mama wait here."

Madam Robert nodded. Lais got up and took out their trash. He searched for the nearest trash can from the operating room. As he turned, he caught the shadow of the woman he seemed to know.

Is that him? Did he come to see papa?So he's free to roam? Or am I the one who saw it wrong? Ah already.

As Lais left, the door of the operating room opened.

"How is the doctor operating?" Mrs Robert greeted the doctor who had just come out of the operating room.

"You?"

"I'm his wife."

"Let's come with me!"

Mrs Robert followed the doctor who took care of her husband.

Lais arrives and is confused about not finding her mother.

Where's mama? Did he go to the restroom? I'll just wait here.

Lais sat back. He contacted Revan asking if he had met at the office. Lais also asked how the office was. Long enough he talked to Revan. When it was over, her mother did not come.

"So your attitude! Lais is here. I don't want him to see you!" hardik Mrs Robert. She fears that when Lais sees Angela, her childhood trauma will resurface.

"What?!?!" cry Mrs Robert. Angela's words she felt like lightning striking in the scorching afternoon.

"What I'm talking about is less clear. I pregnant. Robert's son." Angela repeated her words and gave emphasis.

"No way." Madam Robert's lips twitched. He took a few steps back.

"It's up to you not to believe. I'd like to meet your son and ask for a share of the company for his future sister!" Angela pointed at her still flat stomach.

The brazen female fox. If not in the hospital, I would have scratched your pretentious beauty face.

Madam Robert was about to reply to Angela when from afar she saw Lais stepping towards them.

"Angela! Please go. I promise I'll give you the rights of the child you bear. And Lais, she would agree with me. But if you don't leave now, I guarantee you and the boy won't get anything." Madam Robert said firmly. His eyes stared hard at Angela.

Damnit damnit!This woman is still so scary, and I know she never messed around with her words.

"Ok, I keep your promise.I'll call you soon." Angela then walked away.

"Whatever!"

Whatever I'm gonna do to protect Lais. Enough of the stupidity I used to do. I'm not gonna let Lais meet that damn woman.

The confused Lais looked for her mother, finally seeing the woman standing in front of the doctor's room. He also sees a woman talking to him but leaves before Lais gets to his mother's place.

Isn't she the woman I saw earlier.Why did she meet mama?

Lasi accelerated his pace.

"Ma! Mama's okay?" His voice was full of worry.

"No son, mama's fine."

"Why is my mom here?"

"The doctor asked my mom to follow him. So this is where mom is now?"

"What did doctor ma say?"

"He said the operation was successful. But papa's condition is still not out of his crisis. So papa still has to be treated in the ICCU room again."

"To whom?"

"Which one?" Madam Robert pretended not to understand who Lais was asking.

"The woman who talked to my mother."
