Marrying an Imperfect Man

Visits of Dr. Risa

Lais was checking and signing some important files on her desk. He looked up when Revan came and put the map in front of him.

"This what?" lais asked while taking one of the maps and opening it.

"I finished your assignment the other day. All the data you asked for is in that map." Revan then stepped towards the sofa and sat there. Lais held the map. He stood up and walked over to where Revan was sitting.

"Good work." praised Lais while sitting down. He put the map on the sofa table.

"What are you gonna do now?" revan asked as he picked up the snack on the table and ate it.

"I'm going to see Angela,"

"Uhuk." Revan chokes in shock at Lais' response. In a hurry he took the water and drank it.

"You sure?"

Lais nodded. "That's the only way I can tell her to stay away from my family. And as compensation, I'll return the assets that were supposed to be his." Lais explained his idea.

"You're sure he'll take it?"

Lais shrugged her shoulders, "Not really. But it's worth trying, right?"

"If he refuses?"

"We force him to accept it or I will bring up the old story and imprison him. Am I not a living witness." replied Lais.

"Will your father stay silent if you do that? Didn't he just cover it up, too."

Lais sighing. "This time I will not only fight Angela but also papa." he murmured.

"I'll support you. Whatever steps you take, I'm ready to help you. Don't forget there are still my friends who are also ready to help you." Revan patted Lais on the shoulder.

"I believe you." Lais smiles. "All we have to do now is find where papa's hiding Angela."

"Give it to me" said Revan confidently.

"Be careful! Don't underestimate papa's power." Lais warned Revan.

"Just calm. Can't we be underestimated, too?" Revan wants Lais to have the power they have.

Their conversation was interrupted by a knock at the door. Revan told the person who knocked at the door to come in. A woman who was Lais' secretary came in, though,

"Mr Revan, someone wants to meet with Mr. Lais" the woman told Revan. It's customary in that office to talk to Lais, then it has to go through Revan. Due to her trauma, Lais does not want to talk to strangers.

But now that Lais had recovered, she answered the secretary, "Who?"

The woman who became Lais' secretary was shocked. This was the first time his handsome yet cold boss had spoken to him. He became nervous and answered Lais' question stuttering. "E.e..the name..Risa, Sir."

Lais and Revan look at each other, "Risa?" they say simultaneously.

Revan immediately remembered Risa's question the other day which made Nisa sewot.

"Did you tell him that Mr. Lais exists?" ask Revan. The woman shook her head, "I just said I'd check it inside."

"Good! I'm going out to see him. You can go and have him wait in the special guest room." Revan told the woman.

"Okay, Mr. Revan." answered the woman and walked out.

"Are you going to see him?" revan asked Llais after her secretary was not in the room, "But my advice is not!" continued Revan.

"Why? He still hasn't answered my question. I wanted to ask him directly." said Lais.

"What questions?" Revan looked curiously.

Lais quietly petted whether she would tell Revan or not. Finally he decided to tell Revan.

"When I brought Aruna in, Risa said that I had to hold off for four months for the holidays."

Revan furrowed his brows, "Holiday? What holiday do you mean?"

"Holiday.yes.holiday." replied Lais. Then he continued in a soft voice, "Can't grow hair."

"What do you mean?Are you also asked to take a vacation? Didn't you also bring Nisa there to check."

"No! He just advised to be careful, do it slowly and not too often. No holidays." Revan explained.

"Why am I being told to take a holiday? Is it because of our baby twins that he's afraid I'll work hard?"

 Revan scratched his head not understanding the term hard work that Lais said. "What do twins have to do with working hard?" tanyakanya.

"Didn't you say you planted hair, if the baby had two heads. Work hard, right?" answer the original Lais who made Revan gawk.

"Let's go see him!" bring Lais. He stood up and left Revan still glued to his place. When Revan regained consciousness, he soon caught up with Lais.

In the guest room, Dr. Risa sits uneasily because she has waited long enough, but Lais does not see her.

"Hi Risa!"

Dr. Risa turned her head when she heard someone say hello to her, She saw Revan coming in and sitting on the sofa opposite to where he was sitting.

"Hi, Van." replied Dr. Risa while looking for Lais.

"Searching Lais?" guess Revan, though,

Dr. Risa nodded."Where's she?" tanyanya disappointed.

Revan observed the change in the face of Dr. Risa. "Ris, may I know why you're looking for Lais?" ask Revan.

Dr. Risa seemed to be thinking of looking for an answer for Revan. "We are friends from childhood. There's no harm in me seeing him."

"But why now?Why is it that when Lais needs a friend, you don't come?" ask Revan.

"Van! To be honest, I was scared. I'll be straight with you. I like Lais. But the disorder Lais suffered scared me. You know what his attitude is to women?" the pretext of Dr. Risa.

 Revan smiled wryly. "Continue now for what did you come? You want to ruin his happiness?"

dr. Risa is shocked by Revan's guess, "No, Van. I am happy if he is happy. It's just that I'm not sure about his wife." replied dr. Risa.

"Not sure?" ask Revan.

"Yes. I felt that the girl was just using Lais. You see Van, he's very young. He was a long way adrift with Lais. I'm afraid that someday he'll leave Lais when he doesn't need Lais."

 Revan chuckled at Risa's words, "You don't know Aruna, so it's only natural that you think so. Arun is the most sincere to Lais. Just so you know, to this day, he's never asked Lais anything but to be allowed to go to school until graduation."

dr. Risa is silent. He still doesn't believe Revan's words. Although rarely met, but he always monitors Lais' life through newspapers and news stories circulating. Lais's divorce did not escape her monitoring.

"Did most of Lais' wives cheat." he murmured.

"Undeniably, it's true. But Aruna is guaranteed not to cheat." Revan replied.

"You're so sure, Van. Imagine she is a young girl, seducing and even willing to be a man who deserves to be an om even her uncle. His motive was not treasure. If he gets what he wants, he'll leave Lais."

"That's your hope, isn't it?" guess Revan. "So if you hope so, why are you here? To provoke Lais into leaving Aruna?Why provoke Lais?Aren't you sure Aruna will leave her someday?Why don't you just wait when it comes?" cerca Revan's.

dr. Risa immediately got an invasion of questions from Revan. He was confused and misbehaved. He did not know that from a different place, Lais was watching and listening to their conversation.

"I.m.I.." Dr. Risa stuttered.

"Risa, I suggest that you don't disturb Lais' household. Your opinion of Aruna is wrong and Lais knows it. So it's free if you want to vilify Aruna in front of Lais. They love each other. So stay away before you get hurt" Revan said firmly.

Dr. Risa is silent. Inwardly he thought there was no point in forcing Lais to meet because Revan would definitely not allow it.

"Oh yes one more. What do you mean ask Lais for four months?"

"That's.it's.."

"That's what? You think you'll be able to seduce Lais when she needs it, don't you? You're dreaming. You don't know what she has. So bury your dream and get out of this office." drive Revan out.

Dr. Risa has already lost face in front of Revan. He immediately stood up and walked out of the room even out of Lais' office.
