Married Bad Boy

Married Bad Boy
The Part 65

Widya knew moments like this would come too and when the tense thing arrived she would say nothing, would do nothing, and would think nothing of it. He will just shut up, nod like a fool and pretend to understand when he really does not want to think about it at all.

Today suddenly Mahendra a.k.a His own father-in-law called him for reasons Widya already believed. No other and not for the sake of discussing the contract between himself and the President of the Pradipta Group. The agreement concerned Azri, her marriage, and her love for the man.

"I knew this would happen."

Mahendra's mutterings jolted Widya, distracting the woman from her strained hands resting on her thighs towards the serious look in front of her.

The man sitting behind the table sighed once more before continuing his delayed words, "Don't I tell you not to use your feelings in this task?"

Widya once again nodded, similar to a dazed person. However, this problem will never be easy for him, unlike work problems that he always handled every day and will not make him feel burdened like now.

"Do you know your mistake?"

"I know, Dad," Widya replied as decently as possible with a voice that sounded dull in her own ears.

Without waiting for Widya to continue, Mahendra said back, "Azri El Pradipta is clearly in love with you. I know the boy well" he said in a desperate tone as if it was a disgrace to be borne.

Widya widened her eyes, her lips twitching in response to a sudden chaotic feeling. Want his sense of yelling that falling in love is not a disgrace, and is it wrong if his self has feelings for his superior son?

"I don't want him to get caught up in that feeling. I'm asking you to change her, not make her fall in love with you."

I know that, inner Widya.

Breathing came back from Mahendra's nose. "Now prepare yourselves, perhaps I should terminate the contract."

Widya's eyes were rounded. His hysterical look was on Mahendra who calmly said that. His self was filled with a lot of fear. If the contract between her self and Azri must quickly end then what is her fate? No, he was worried about Azri's feelings.

Some time ago Azri had just been surprised by the fact that the mother he had been flattering high dared to deviate and be the cause of his father did not come when his wife was dying. As far as she knew, her mother was the most gentle and loving woman she knew in this world. Therefore, Azri was devastated. The hatred he had shown to his father during this time of his likeness was misdirected.

It took about a few days for himself to comfort Azri who had fallen. Mahendra did not know at all because Azri never showed it while in the office. However, Widya knew clearly how hurt Azri was whenever she caught her husband brooding alone in their apartment. If he had to leave, then what about Azri?

His mouth has opened want to say no, but what he said is precisely the sentence that he regretted most for life.

"I understand."

His throat was choked, Widya fought with herself so that her tears would not spill before Mahendra. Widya immediately parted and walked out of her father-in-law's room with a wounded heart. After this, he did not know what to face Azri with.

Azri almost knocked on her father's office door when she found Widya, his wife, coming out from behind the door. The first question that came to his mind was, what did Widya do there? Exactly what for?

"Darling," the word simply said.

Lately Azri is used to calling Widya with that name. However, the smile on his lips did not last long after he realized his wife's face was deathly pale, sad, and frustrated as if the whole world's troubles were borne by her.

"What's wrong?"

Widya flinched consciously. He opened his eyes several times and looked up directly at Azri's face. Had seen a hint of surprise from the look of his eyes, making Azri suspicious.

"Your face is pale." Azri touched Widya's cheek with her palm, then glanced behind the door she was about to visit. "Did that Old Man tell you something?"

"Huh? No." Widya immediately denied. He forced a smile and the fool knew Widya's smile was not sincere at all.

Azri could feel that something was wrong was happening. He squinted his eyes suspiciously.he was sure his father must have said something to Widya. However, for now he refuses to invite Widya to argue because it is to calm the atmosphere he responds to Widya's lies with a gentle smile.

"Don't take work too seriously. I don't want you to get sick. I'll pick you up later." Still with his hands touching Widya's cheeks, the man said.

"We're going to lunch together."

Of course a simple thing like Azri's palms warming her cheeks and the way the man spoke managed to make a reddish tinge appear on both of Widya's cheeks. But on the other hand, he was sad. The more Azri is being nice, the sooner the deadline for her togetherness with this man. Because of her, as long as the opportunity is still available to her. He will spend as much time as possible with Azri. Widya nods.

Azri smiled, he brought his face closer to kiss Widya's lips briefly. The girl blinked, especially since Azri was doing her in front of her father's secretary who was clearly watching the scene just now. Her cheeks are getting red.

Azri did not say anything after the attack that nearly dislodged his heart. The man immediately put his feet up with all his charisma and confidence as if he had not taken any impulsive actions.

"l-it's." Widya. He was confused as to what to say to the secretary sitting behind his desk. The secretary merely gave a meaningful smile, revealing a hint of envy.

Widya smiled clumsily then rushed away before she embarrassed herself even further.

***

Azri did not say anything when he gave a report on the development of the project with GN Group. He was still upset and reluctant to talk to his father, but he remained professional at work. He remained silent until his father finished examining his artificial report.

"Such like this we have to hold a meeting again with the President of Gn. Your proposal is very good and I'm sure President GN will accept it. What if in the afternoon you come to lunch together, President GN will be there and I make sure he is very happy to meet you," said his father with a bright face. Azri snorted before answering in a stern tone.

"No, I already have a lunch appointment with my wife."

Mahendra's jaw looks hardened hearing Azri's sentence.

Azri frowned realizing the reaction. Twenty-six more years he knew his father and he knew if his father had been like that, something wrong was going on and this time it was related to his wife.

"Why? Any problem with Widya?"

Mahendra realized his reaction was excessive, he cleared his throat then leaned his back on the back of the chair. "none. Of course, the GN President must have understood."

That was not the answer Azri wanted to hear. He was not a fool to be fooled and his father was currently trying to deflect the subject. His eyes narrowed.

"I don't know what you're hiding from me and what you're doing to my wife, but I'm sure. Sooner or later I'll know it" Azri recalled coldly, making Mahendra slightly jump.

"Is this how you talk to your father?" check it out, offended. He thought Azri would change after hearing the story about his late mother. The child is not affected at all.

Mahendra is heartbroken by that fact. He can't change Azri's heart to stop hating her.

Azri got up, ignoring his own father's words. "If I had known you were the cause of my wife's grief, I wouldn't have stayed silent."

After saying that spicy sentence, Azri moved from the room where she was. However, before his hand turned the doorknob, his father's voice came back.

"Don't you feel that your attitude is excessive? You hate your own father for a completely wrong reason. Even after you found out your mother betrayed you, you still hate me?"

Azri froze in her place, her hand still holding the doorknob. He hates this damn topic. Although she was disappointed in her own mother after knowing the story of her mother's betrayal of her own father, somehow her conscience still said her mother could not do evil.

Azri turned his gaze with an ice-cold look. He looked angry and resolute as he said, "I don't care about your story about my mother. But I'm sure my mother wasn't that low."

Mahendra widened his eyes. His mouth was so tight that he couldn't say anything.

"What about Widya Lovarza? What if your wife did the same thing to you?"

Receiving a similar attack, Azri froze again. He never thought about this one. However, he knows Widya is not a materialist who will take advantage of her. No, he knows his wife very well.

"My answer remains the same, I won't believe your words" Azri said without looking at her father. "After all, isn't she your woman of choice?"
