Azri did not meet with Widya when the office hours ended. He knew from Bella that his wife had gone home for a reason. Azri did not bother about it at all. Along the way he thought of various plans for his wife, such as a romantic dinner.
The sound of the doorbell rang when Azri finished making dinner. She thought Widya was the last one to come home. When he returned to the apartment two hours ago, their apartment was empty and he did not know where Widya was going, as his wife had just returned. Even his phone cannot be contacted.
Wait, the doorbell? Azri realized the peculiarity. Widya already knows the password of the house so there is no need to ring the bell. He also realized the possibility that ringing the bell was not Widya but a foreign guest. With his head full of question marks he moved towards the door.
"Surprise!!"
Azri blinked his eyes when he opened the door he found Jhors and Ryan standing there. "What are you doing here?"
It's not unusual for his friends to visit his apartment these nights.
"We're wondering why you haven't shown up at the club lately. You've turned into a home-grown husband" Jhors commented with a meaningful smile.
"Like her I smell the smell of cooking. Jesus, you cook?" ryan exclaimed and then cringed inside without waiting for the owner of the house to welcome.
Azri could only sigh resignedly and let his friends in.
"What if I cook? Does that sound weird?" sewot Azri's. He doesn't like to be commented on about it. Is there a problem if a husband wants to make dinner for his wife?
Ryan and Jhors exclaimed in amazement at the row of dishes on the table. It was clear that every dish there was made wholeheartedly by Azri.
"No, it's just that rituals like this are only done by you if you are in love," Ryan said with a knotty smile.
"Yes, you've never been this sweet on a girl you only date once" Jhors added.
The words of his two friends made Azri aware of his strange behavior. He didn't realize it before, and Ryan and Jhors were right. Counting only twice he was willing to make food for a girl. That's today and a few years ago.
"Thank God you've forgotten him,” said Jhors and he immediately fell silent when he turned to Azri. The man again showed a sad look.
Ryan nudged her as a signal that the topic of Azri's past story was never revealed again.
"By the way, where did your wife go? I didn't see her." Ryan looked around.
Hearing Widya's name, the sad hue disappeared instantly and changed with an anxious look. Azri glanced at the clock with a huff. "He hasn't been back since afternoon."
"Did she go with Bella?"
"No, I've asked her but she herself doesn't know."
Azri just realized this. Widya has been looking strange ever since she left Leeh's boutique. Could something be happening right now? How'this?
"Let's call her cell phone" Jhors suggested.
Azri immediately snatched his cellphone which had been idle on the dining table. he did not try again after failing to contact her.
"Damn it, the phone's still off!"
Azri cursed because all he heard were the words of the operator who told Widya's phone was not active. This fact further aggravated his anxiety.
"How is this?" Azri walked back and forth in front of his friends who were confused thinking about this problem.
"Calm down." Ryan tells Azri to stop doing unnecessary things. “If you become Widya, where would you go?"
Azri forced her brain to think. If she became a conservative girl like Widya roughly which place would her first think of as a place of escape?
"Aah!" Azri jerks. "I know where!" exclaiming her.
"Where?" tanya Jhors and Ryan compact.
"The last place I'll visit if I'm frustrated."
"Yes, where is it?"
"Grandfather's house, of course," Azri said confidently.
