PART 33 - ZAKI IS COMING

Papa and Amanda are so happy to see that I'm sober. Moreover, I was immediately healthy as before. I said I wanted to go home. After I convinced my family that I was okay, Papa finally took care of my return. And yes, now I am in my home, in my hometown.

"Your friend, Fara, called Mama when you were in a coma for three days. Your friends are afraid you're okay so they're taking the initiative to contact Mama." Obviously Mama when I asked why suddenly I could be in my hometown.

"Ssttt.." I covered my mouth with my index finger, asking Amanda to turn down her voice. I know Amanda must be very surprised but I don't want to make my parents anxious if they know the truth.

"Since when, brother? Did they hurt Brother?" Amanda was very worried.

I'm nodding. "Honestly I'm scared, Dek. They keep chasing me and Zaki."

"Zaki?" Amanda wants to ask who Zaki is.

"He's my friend. My boss at work."

Ah yeah, how's Zaki doing now? Is he awake? Or was he still asleep like before when we experienced that incident?

Yeah, I finally figured out what Zaki meant before, that the doctor wouldn't find the disease.

"They tortured us, Dek. Zaki and I were whipped, hit by an iron ball, beaten, until they burned us."

Amanda rounded her eyes and closed her mouth as a look of shock from what I said. "Is that painful, brother? Is Ayri's sister so tormented?"

I shed tears. Yes, it's painful and torturous but I can't blind Amanda any more.

I tried to get rid of the pain in my stomach. I have to look fine to support the sentence I'm about to say.

"Now everything's fine, Dek."

Hearing that Amanda immediately grabbed me from the side.

"We almost burned. Good thing someone came to save us in time."

"someone? Who is it, brother?"

"I don't know exactly who he is, Dek. All I know is her name Elsa. And he's a good ghost. He and his friend showed us a way out."

Zaki ran up to me and he immediately hugged me. I was so happy to see Zaki doing well, I returned his embrace.

"Ehem, who is this?" Mama's voice startled me, I immediately pushed Zaki slightly away.

"It's Zaki, Ma. He's the director at Ayri's place of work." I clearly.

"Hallo, Aunt. Sorry I was presumptuous, I was just too happy because Ayri was fine." Zaki said politely. Mama nodded, not seeming to mind it.

"Please sit down." Said Mama.

Zaki sat down next to Papa, and I sat back down at my place.

Amanda patted me on the shoulder slowly. "She's Zaki the sister told me about?" Ask Amanda slowly. I'm nodding.

"What brings you here, son Zaki?" Ask your mom directly to the point.

"Om, Auntie, I'm not here aimlessly. I'm here because I want to get Ayri back there."

"Job problems?" Ask Mama again.

"Yes, one of them."

"Another reason?"

Zaki looked at me, and for a while we looked at each other.

"Eh." Tegur Mama blatantly.

"I'm sure Ayri hasn't told you anything yet." Said Zaki.

"Tell me what?" Ask Mama

"Did something happen?" Added Papa.

"We are disturbed by subtle creatures." Clearly Zaki without further ado.

Mama and Papa were surprised. Amanda glanced at me because I told her first.

I originally wanted to keep this a secret from Mama and Papa, but in the end Zaki came and said it this quickly. But I'm sure Zaki must have had a good reason for this, until he was willing to follow me all the way here.

"You, what do you mean?" Ask Mama a little.

"Tante, I can't tell you everything in detail. I'll just say the outline."

Zaki took a pause to catch his heavy-sounding breath.

"In Ayri's residence, precisely the room that Ayri occupied, there was the main gate of the kingdom of Magical. That's where the access in and out of the fine creatures." Clearly Zaki.

"What?" I was surprised because I didn't know about it. Is it true what Zaki said just now?

"What's? So is Ayri in danger?" Tanya Papa represents Mama and Amanda. They look more shocked now.

Suddenly, Mama cried, then approached me and hugged me.

"Ma.." I cried, I couldn't bear to see Mama crying like this.

"Ayri just got back, I don't want Ayri to go anymore."

So this is why Zaki always says that we have a bond. That we are connected. That we will always be close.

"Ma, Pa, sorry. Ayri has to go back there. If Ayri does not return Ayri is afraid they will pursue Ayri until here. The ones they were after were Ayri and Zaki. Wherever Ayri goes they can find Ayri, Ma."

"You can't go, baby. Mama's scared."

"Ayri knows Mama must be worried about Ayri. But Zaki's right. We have to work together. Ayri does not want to be selfish. Ayri doesn't want you to get hurt because of Ayri."

"Papa believed in Ayri." Papa cut off Mama who's gonna talk again.

"Can you guarantee Ayri's safe there?" Ask Papa to Zaki.

"When Ayri gets hurt I will also get hurt. If Ayri doesn't come back then I'll never come back. That's our bond."

"If so I hold your words. A true man is a man who can keep his promises and keep his words."

"I understand, Om.

"Ma, uh,"
