I walked on a very dark road. The atmosphere is not at all as usual.
I remember that I just came home from the factory where I worked. I was walking alone, but I realized I couldn't go the wrong way. Like I can walk with my eyes closed because I am very familiar with the path I always pass. But this road I don't know him at all.
Where am I really?
Crack crack!
The sound continued to sound because I thought I kept stepping on the dry twigs that were scattered below. I can't see clearly because it's so dark. I don't know what kind of place I am in right now.
I reached into the pocket, took the phone out of my pants pocket and then I turned on the flashlight button there as a light for me.
"Gee!!" I slipped. I screamed, shut my mouth tight. I cried without realizing it.
The forest!
That's one word that can describe this place.
This is truly a forest. A very scary forest.
I opened the lock screen, then looked for Fara's number to call her for help. Unfortunately, there is no signal here.
I squeezed my phone with a feeling I couldn't explain at all.
I turned around, hoping I would find a way out by walking down the road I had been on.
I walked alone for a long time, but never found a way out.
Stupid me! I don't even remember which side I came from, besides it's so dark here, it's so hard to find a way just by lighting from the phone I'm holding.
I sat hugging my legs, continuing to cry without a sound, my chest tight as it continued to cry. I'm too scared to be in a place like this alone. What am I supposed to do? I just wish no beast would find me here. Maybe I can just wait until morning to see and find a way or ask for help.
Right now this phone is my only friend. I hope this phone does not run out of power so I can still use it at least until morning.
I look up, I can't be here. If I can't get out now at least I should find a place I can use to rest. Maybe a tree can be a backrest for me to rest.
I walked slowly, looking for where there were trees. When I aimed the flashlight at a distance I found a small boy with the head of a plontos running around merrily alone. Could he be as tuyul as I've seen in a horror movie?
My reflexes are backtracking, I don't want to be seen by him, no matter who he is.
I walked back the other way, I was a little relieved that I found a big tree not far from where I was standing. Without a second thought I walked straight to the tree there.
Up near the tree I looked around, making sure there were no wild animals around.
After making sure it was safe, I sat leaning against the tree while hugging my legs.
"Hahh.." I heaved a heavy sigh. Trying to stop my crying.
"When will the morning come? I want to get out of here quick." My tears can't stop flowing. I was so scared and depressed.
I close my eyes. "Please protect me, O God."
When I opened my eyes I saw a pair of legs swinging back and forth over the big tree branch I was leaning against. Instantly I woke up standing, but my gaze could not be separated from that figure. Is that Kuntilanak?
"It's not safe here." Overshipped.
I returned to walk through the dark forest that was increasingly gripping.
A few feet away, I saw a girl wearing a long white dress and matching gloves. Its head is attached to the crown making it look more graceful. Is she a princess. From the style she wears I can guess maybe she is the princess of the ancient Dutch kingdom.
I smiled a little. Maybe I'm not alone here. I was about to run towards him but suddenly crossed my mind a question.
"Is he a human being? Or is he an astral being?"
Slowly the girl turned and caught me. I slipped and took two steps back. The girl looked at me with a hopeful look. I felt familiar with that look, like I had seen it.
Ah yes, the gaze of a pair of mothers and children in pink clothes. They also looked at me with that look.
I slightly turned my gaze to the right, and it turned out that I found the two figures I had just thought of, the mother and the child.
It's getting so wrong. This place is no ordinary forest. I don't want to know what this forest is but I don't want to be stuck here.
I turned around, stepped quickly away from there.
Again. I went back to finding a girl. But this girl had her face ruined. I watched the girl and,
"Aah!" I round my eyes. That girl was the girl who was in the back corner of my boarding room door last night. Is he here too?
Is this where astral beings gather? Or maybe the astral beings are stuck here and can't get out of here?
I dismissed strange thoughts I shouldn't have thought of. The most important thing now is to save myself. I don't want to wait until morning, or maybe I'll be done.
I keep walking straight. I think I'm walking straight, not knowing if it's actually turning.
I narrowed my eyes when I saw a large rock with a small hole underneath. Is that a..gua?
I was curious to walk closer. It turned out to be quite bright there, so I got closer. Hope it's safe there.
I arrived in front of the stone passageway which I thought was indeed a cave. I'm holding on to whether I'm going in or not. If I go in, what if it turns out to be a trap and I can't go out anymore? But if I don't get in here it's very dark.
I looked around. I think I'd be safer if I came in. So I lifted up one of my feet and stepped over the boundary of the dark and light shadow. As soon as all my limbs entered, I immediately gasped.
Brak!
The hallway is closed. I didn't expect this cave to have a door.
I approached the door, pounding it hard to get it back open, but it didn't shake a bit. The stone door was very strong.
"Damn! This is a trap!" Umpatchem.
There's no other choice. I could only enter down the narrow hallway with torches neatly attached to the walls of this cave. To be honest, I was quite curious as to what was inside this cave.
With an equally strong feeling of fear and curiosity, I continued to walk more into the cave area.
Glup!
I swallowed with difficulty.
There are so many strange creatures in there. In a very crowded, are these astral beings partying? Maybe if you add music from a dimly lit DJ this can already be said to be a night club. More precisely the night club of astral beings.
There was a long and pointed-eared man. There was a little boy who looked cute but his hands and nails were terrible. Some have wide mouths. And there are still many forms of them that I feel disgusted if you look at them for a long time. They seem to be having fun.
But wait a minute! I've stood here long enough, I thought I'd be caught by them, but so far I don't feel any danger from them. Did they not see me? Or maybe they can't see me?
I was honestly scared, but I wondered if they could see me or not. So I approached and infiltrated in their midst.
I feel like someone's nudging me on the shoulder, but that guy's not acting weird. Is it true they can't see me?
I wasn't sure about this yet, so I carefully poked one of the people not far from me. He didn't react to anything either.
"Hey, can you see me?" I asked hard enough but no one responded.
So is it true I can't be seen by them? Thank goodness, I feel safe in the meantime. But why was I brought here when they couldn't see me?
The longer the stench is smelled from various angles. I'm sure it stinks those weird creatures. I got out of there before I threw up.
I faintly saw a staircase made of stone completely. Stone carved, showing the impression of solid. I know I may be presumptuous, but I'm very curious now.
I'm sure I'm not here for no reason now. I'm gonna find out.
When I was about to climb the stairs, suddenly the ground where I stood shook, the longer it got tighter. I undo my intention of climbing the stairs, I choose to hide under the stairs and observe silently.
"Giant gorilla?" I was so surprised to see it. So I'm stuck in the cage now?
The giant carried something in his big hands. I narrowed my eyes, sharpened my gaze, finding out what the big gorilla was carrying.
The gorilla is getting closer to me.
"Oh my God, protect me. Don't let him see me." Inner praying.
The gorilla headed towards the stairs. I was surprised that what he brought was a human. Yeah, my gut feeling is that it's a human being just like me.
I lowered my head to be invisible to the gorilla. The gorilla climbed the two steps, and when I looked up I could see the man in the giant tote as if he was carrying a sack of rice. Unfeeling.
I round my wide eyes very unexpected with what I saw.
"Zaki!"
