LIKE I CAN'T SEE
BAG 4 PAPA RENEGED ON THE PROMISE

This afternoon Jessy was seen still waiting for her papa to come to pick her up. He was forced to cancel an appointment with the driver of the house because his father was going to pick him up.

It's been over an hour. The school was empty. All the students have been taken by their parents. Only he remained who was still sitting in front of the school gate.

"Non, haven't you been picked up yet? The school gate already wants you the key", said the security guard approached.

Jessy just shook her head. He feels frustrated. For the umpteenth time his father broke a promise. And just always apologized to his tribe and promised not to repeat again every time he met Jessy.

Finally the green car stopped in front of him. This is Axel papa Bagas's car his upperclassman. It just so happens that their house is a housing complex. And Axel knew papa Jessy very well. Because he is his business partner.

"Jessy, let's get in the car. Take her home".

There is no other option Jessy directly climbed into Axel's car. "Did no one pick you up today?", he asked later.

"No Om. Papa reneged on the promise", Jessy bowed.

"Maybe your father is busy. So forget to pick you up", Axel rubbed the tops of my head gently trying to cheer up.

Jessy opened the car door when she got to her house. Don't forget to say thank you to Axel.

"Either. Tomorrow just ask Bagas to accompany you if you are waiting for an invitation. So that you can be with Bagas if no one picks up", a message from Axel's nag.

Jessy just nodded. Surely you have to ask Bagas to accompany. Seeing the child alone has made nausea stomach contents. His behavior that was so conciliatory that always boasted of his parents' property really made him lazy.

Arriving in the house. ART House has welcomed the son of his employer. Someone took over the bag. Some take off their shoes and others make fresh drinks.

Jessy was silent. Not as usual who asked me where my mom was. The answer will always be the same as he hears. My mom and dad are not home yet.

After taking off his shoes. He just shut himself in the room. ART took her lunch to the room. "Non, eat first. No, it must be hungry and tired right?", he said putting food on the room table.

"Why would my aunt stop working? Who accompanied Jessy to sleep if Jessy was sick?", one of the ARTs that treated her from a baby suddenly yesterday afternoon will resign. Because her parents are sick. And because he was the eldest of his brothers, it was the youth who would take care of his parents.

"There are still two more ARTs that accompany Non Jessy. Non Jessy doesn't have to be sad", hugging Jessy into her lap. During this time the ART is the closest to him.

"There are a lot of people in this house. But like aunty, loving Jessy is just an aunt".

"Non Jessy can't be like that. Mom and Dad loved Non Jessy. More than the affection your aunt gave you for Non".

"If they were dear. It would be impossible to get divorced bi".

ART was tightly hugging Jessy's tiny body. He knew how hurt Jessy was right now. The little and little girl who should be cheerful but she grew up in the grief and distress arising from the parents.

"Before aunt left, tomorrow Jessy introduced her best friend Jessy bi. His name is Brother Jovan".

The boy suddenly cheerfully remembers Jovan's name. "Really?", asked ART.

"Now Non Jessy ate first then", he said then saw the girl had improved a little from her sadness.

"Mommy!!", he said to his mother in the kitchen. It looks like mak Silah is cooking water for drinking needs.

"Have a bath. Mother has prepared water behind the house", their house does not have a bathroom. Water in the can from drawing the neighbor's well. And put it behind the house made a makeshift room.

"Thank you Mak. Next time let Jovan get his own water. Isn't it Jovan's job to get Mom some water?".

"That's it. Much the same. You must be tired" Mak Silah told me.

In all its limitations Mak Silah always tried to meet my needs. He didn't want me to help him much. Because I think my job is to learn and learn.

"Mom, let's eat" I said after we both finished cleaning ourselves alternately.

Yesterday clothes are used again as long as they have been washed is common. We don't have clothes to change every day.

Tonight my dinner menu with Mak Silah is vegetable lodeh with salted fish leftover yesterday. What a great pleasure for today. The results of this afternoon I did not exchange with sembako or side dishes. Unless I exchange money for my school administration.

Little by little the results of Mak Silah work and the results of me looking for tutut on the set aside for tuition. Because then the burden of my school fees will not be so swollen later on.

Especially this is the first week approaching the test. I have to pay off the rest of the arrears immediately. So I can take the exam later.

Being able to pay the arrears and take the exam alone was more than enough for me. For that I will not have the grandiose desire to continue to junior high school.

In the sense of being full. Mak and I cleaned up the dirty dishes. As usual the place just now to eat for Mak Silah's bed.

"Good night Mak" I said later. Makilah always answered.

Morning came too. I got out of my sleep. Take over mom's job to cook drinking water.

"How come you woke up first not to wake up Mom to Nak?".

"No papa Mak. Jovan accidentally woke up and couldn't sleep anymore" I replied.

"Owalah Son. If you wake up, you should learn. No need in the kitchen. The tests are getting closer".

"Hehe Yes Mak".

The sun is starting to light up. The clock shows at six in the morning. I'm ready with my uniform and my bag.

"Mom, Jovan left yes", I said farewell to Mother.

I came out of the house with a cheerful heart. Traverse the narrow streets and alleys until finally find the highway. That's the road I go through every day when I go to and go to school.

Arriving at the school yard. I saw Jessy get off the same car as Bagas. I pretended I didn't see him and went to class.

Jessy was about to call out to me but was instantly speechless. He seems to understand the current situation. I was never wanted in front of Bagas and his friends.
