LIKE I CAN'T SEE

LIKE I CAN'T SEE
BAG 14 EARLY MEET DODI

As usual, I ignored the words of those who were always humbling me. I continued my steps to go around looking around the school room.

"Hey, rancid. Have you dared to ignore me, huh?", cried Bagas.

Bugwigs. Just walking a few steps I was hit by someone with glasses who was in a hurry. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. Helpme! They're after me!", said the man.

"Who's after you? What's up?", I asked.

"Let me explain. Borrow your body to cover up", he told me to stand in front of him pretending to read a book.

I saw a bunch of kids my age looking for someone. What was he afraid of were those children? Then why should he be afraid?

"Have out! They've gone".

"Thank you for helping me. Hmmm, my name is Dodi", reach out her hand and I accept it with pleasure. At least my luck was better than in elementary school. At the beginning of the entrance I got a friend.

"I'm Jovan!", I reply.

"O yeah why are you with him? Is there a problem?", I asked later.

"I accidentally hit him in the cafeteria. I apologized to him but he told me to kneel at his feet. Then I ran", replied Dodi.

"Your fate is the same as mine. I was also always bullied by those rich people".

"Let's sit there we exchange stories", invite Dodi who began to get familiar because he felt the same fate.

They sit in the school yard. They exchanged their origin stories. Although Dodi's circumstances are luckier than Jovan's but the two can accept each other.

It didn't feel like the two were talking long enough. This is probably the second angel sent by God. There's Dodi after Jessy left. I don't think they were a class either.

I got lucky this time. Not in class with Bagas and his friend. Oh yes, I forgot. I'm just a scholarship boy. They are in class A. I can only enter B class.

"Jo, you sit next to me!", said Dodi.

The first day of school passed quickly. Because today is only a division of classes and textbooks. There's nothing special about Jovan.

In elementary school, maybe every day I could see Jessy. The first person to think I exist. So powerful that it's hard to forget.

"Jo, why daydream? Come home", take Dodi.

"Yes, he wants to go home too".

"O yeah you went to school up what Jo?".

"Half the journey by angkot the rest go down and walk" I answered.

"Yes, tomorrow I will accompany you to ride an angkot. Today I brought a bike so go home first sorry".

"Yes just relax. Careful. See you tomorrow" said Jovan.

Dodi is gone and no longer visible. While I'm still waiting for public transport. It's been twice, but I have to give in to put a mother and baby first.

"Oh-huh, the details of SD until now have not changed" said Bagas suddenly.

"You mean to change what? If you are poor, you are still poor", said Bagas friend. I ignored them. Let them settle for my taunting.

Five minutes of transport came. Again I gave my seat to middle-aged grandfather. I used to walk a long distance so it was fine for me to stand up.

Before long I reached my destination. The side of the highway that's near my house. He had to walk another four hundred meters. But that's the closest distance from the highway to my house.

One month, two months, up to three months I passed in this junior high school. I am grateful that my classmate treated me well even though only Dodi would be friends and greet me.

At the very least, my fate is not as bad as it used to be. Who is always insulted and gets a sharp look from a student of one class.

Only occasionally in the break time Bagas and a group of friends come to approach. They keep bothering me. And say insulting words. But again I ignored.

My heart is immune. And this opportunity I use to continue to hone my brain focus in the lesson. Because the fate of this scholarship depends on my ability.

It is true that this scholarship was recommended by someone for me. But that doesn't mean I'm holding hands. It is the same way that working people receive blind pay.

I have to prove that I didn't disappoint. And I deserve it. Speaking of scholarships, I remember my principal once promised to tell me who helped me.

For that after school I decided to stop by first in SD. O yes, my mother painstakingly collected her salary. So I can buy a bike. And that's what I use to go home to school.

School hours come. "In, later we split in the road A yes. I have to go to my SD first" I told Dodi.

"Alright" replied Dodi.

We headed to the parking lot together. It looks there Bagas and his gang. "Haha, even if you go to school already use a bicycle but still far away from us. Hey where, the others have used the car Lo still use a bicycle. You are a rancid!!", he said.

Dodi came forward to hit them. But soon I pulled his hand. Because there will be no point in serving them.

"Well what did you just do? Have the same guts Lo us?", said Bagas pointed to Dodi.

Once again I immediately pulled Dodi to go pick up the bike and leave those guys. They will never be content to insult people like me.

Like I said, we're gonna split up on A. "Be careful Jo, see you tomorrow", cried Dodi overtaking me and turning the direction.

I replied with a wave of hands to him. I walked straight to my SD first. Meet my principal. I wish he was still there.

I speed up my bike. Even if the principal is not at school, but I know where his house is. A little calm.

I parked my bike in the yard. I saw the principal locking the door leaving the room. "Mom, good afternoon" I said from behind.

"Jovan, good afternoon. Is there anything you want to need?", the principal unlocked it and told me to go into his room.

I'm happy at once with a pounding heartbeat. Looking forward to the name of the wingless angel who helped me at that time.

"Mom, I hope you don't forget something. Like Mom said at that time would tell me who helped me at that time", I said courageously. I also don't want to spend much of his time at home.

"Mom didn't forget Jo. But not now. The guy called Mom asking that you be patient and wait for graduation" said Ms. Kepsek who made me a little disappointed.
