Afgar hurriedly got up from his sleeping position as his housekeeper knocked on his bedroom door and reported Tian's arrival. Before leaving, he took the time to press the confirmation button for the purchase of airline tickets online to London.
Afgar went down the stairs to his living room and looked at Tian who rose from his sitting position when he saw the appearance of Afgar. As usual, looking at the girl always managed to make Afgar's heart beat faster than usual. In fact, Tian's appearance with sleeveless dress patterned checkered it was often seen by Afgar. Only, his hair that was used to being tied to the back was now unraveled freely. It was as if trying to cover up the depression on his haphazard-looking face.
“There is wrong?” asked Afgar while touching Tian's cheek.
He could indeed estimate the problem that made Tian look unable to hide his immortality. However, unknown facts about how much the girl cried all night made Afgar really worried.
Unfortunately, the girl simply responded to his question with a weak slit while shying away from Afgar's touch.
“Where are you going?” ask Tian back.
Afgar immediately understood that the girl's question was related to the message he sent last night.
“Bristol,” Afgar replied as he gestured for Tian to sit down.
“London?” Tian's eyes were rounded.
Afgar nodded.
Tian sighed softly. “That's far. Are you and Safira really-can't—”
“I'm tired, Ti. I don't want to be confused about our relationship anymore. I'm sick of our relationship being rated ‘not worth’. What the hell are we doing, Ti? We cheated? Our closeness crossed the line? Why is our relationship always viewed as wrong?” Afgar cupped both hands on his face.
Slowly, Tian's fingers touched Afgar's shoulder and rubbed it gently.
“Ti, than you and Meda ended up like me and Sapphira, you better stay away from me too.” Afgar said again in a loud voice.
“And left you to go through all this alone? I can't, Gar. You are the one who is always there for me. This time, I should be there for you,” Tian quickly.
“Don't assume everything I do for you is simply because I want to get the same treatment. I'm sincere with you, Ti. Friend should have done all that,” Afgar replied as he lowered his hand and looked at Tian with his wet eyes. “You do not need to reply to anything if it will all make your relationship with your loved ones broken.”
“You are also the person I love, Gar.”
Afgar's heart was full of hearing Tian's words, although he knew very well that the “sayang” referred to by the girl was certainly different in meaning to the “sayang” he expected. Even so, Afgar believes that if he continues to fight to win the heart of Tian, it is not impossible that “sayang” taste will change its shape.
“But, what about your relationship with Meda?” ask Afgar.
He deliberately brought the name Meda to make Tian inevitably make a choice. In times like these, it was clear Tian's choice would fall upon him. By constantly herding Tian's sympathy towards him, Meda would be increasingly subordinated in Tian's life.
“He's still emotional. So, let him do it first as he pleases. I will wait until he can understand,” Tian replied with a face that was more moody than before.
Afgar's question made Tian's heart like it was squeezed. Tian is forced back into the scene last night when he threatens that the relationship between himself and Meda will end if the young man still does not want to change his view on Tian and Afgar's relationship. There were no tears coming from the corner of her eyes.
Quickly, Afgar grabbed Tian's body into his arms. Reflex, Tian tries to pull over Afgar's embrace. His subconscious believes that one of the reasons for his heated quarrel with Meda was because he let Afgar hug him last night.
However, as Afgar tightened his embrace, Tian finally stopped revolting. He tried to persuade his feelings to stop evading, because it was tantamount to admit Meda's opinion that his closeness with Afgar had more meaning. Therefore, he tried to remove the bias of Meda's opinion from his head and let Afgar calm himself with his actions.
By the time Afgar finally let go of his embrace, Tian had long since stopped crying. To him, his tears would not change anything. What has to change is the people who make this relationship problem complicated, namely Meda and Tian. Tian himself felt he was trying his hardest to prove that there was nothing to worry about regarding his relationship with Afgar. So all that remains is Meda's decision to believe or remain in doubt.
“Why do you want to Bristol?” tian asked to break the silence long enough to surround the atmosphere in the living room of the Afgar house.
“I told you. I want to calm down,” replied Afgar.
“Pacifying yourself doesn't need to go that far. If you go to Bristol the impression is even you like people want to isolate themselves.”
“Mauku is that. I want to take a break from the people who are approaching just to schedule my life and max their point of view to me.” Afgar smiled wryly.
Tian knew Afgar was talking about Sapphira, but the depiction that Afgar spoke of made him remember Meda. Just like that the young man, approached just to set up and impose his point of view on Tian.
However, unlike Afgar, it did not make Tian immediately want to stay away from Meda. He was even more motivated to prove that Meda's worries would never be proven, even though Tian remained close to Afgar.
Tian knew his own feelings. He knew that Meda was the owner of his heart. Only one situation would make him stop loving the young man. Treacheries. And, Tian was sure that it would never be done by Meda.
It was just that for now Tian decided not to chase after Meda. Tian deliberately silenced Meda in order to give her time to temper her emotions and start thinking clearly. Even better if the residence this time makes Meda the first to take a stance to invite to make up first.
“You want to come with me to Bristol?” Afgar's unexpected question sent Tian jolting from his daydream.
“I don't want to, but at home there's only Lydia the same Joan. I have to nemenin them both,” Tian replied solemnly.
Afgar nodded in understanding.
Tian hurriedly added as Afgar said nothing more. “I help nyiapin need to make it there alone, huh? I can get you shopping. Ah, or you need me to help compile a list of destinations to visit in Bristol.”
Afgar laughed a little. “Then that's so anyway, I can browse, Ti.”
“So don't want this?” Tian asked with his eyebrows raised.
“Ya. Please help, Brother,” Afgar said as he lowered his head slightly towards Tian.
The girl nodded with satisfaction. Again, he had activities that made his mind not only filled with Meda.
