Les Laches
Among The Broken Souls

Hera clenched her forehead as she opened the door. The sound of the remix music accompanies the sound of Nicki Minaj who kicked her Va Va Voom single deafening Hera. The girl had just arrived at her home after spending some time at the gym. The lights of the room that are turned off make various forms of glow-in-dark stickers that decorate the entire surface of the walls of the room glow brightly. Although, of course, such illumination was not enough to make Hera's eyes get used to the darkness around her. However, without turning on the lights, Hera already knew who the perpetrator who made her room transformed into a dance floor at the nightclub.

With a little limp step due to hit the end of the sofa, which somehow since when to move from its original location in the middle of the room, Hera approached the socket and unplugged the speaker cable stuck there. Instantly, the peace he craved returned to the air.

Unfortunately, it did not last long as a loud shout calling out his name invaded his hearing mercilessly.

“Can't see what kind of people?!” namel Marita, the perpetrator responsible for the mess in the room.

Hera pressed the room light switch that was near the outlet while throwing the cable in her hand onto the floor.

“Can't you if you want to be normal? Make a real party. Real human beings. Don't party yourself like a freak. In the room anyway. This is where people rest!” Hera ranting back.

“So you remember that this is a place for people to rest? You see, last night you seemed to forget the memory of the time Alvin took to the room. Because of you, I have to sleep in the guest room!” marita's reply was unacceptable.

“Yes who told you to be asked to move to the room instead insistent want to watch in the middle room.”

“Heh! Don't you see anyone else watching? The villain wants to catch–”

“I don't care. Anyway you are wrong.”

Hera threw a bag of her used clothes on the sofa that shifted almost two meters from where it was originally. He was still amazed at the physical strength of his sister who could move the sofa heavy enough alone, before waltzing into the bathroom.

“Don't forget to move the sofa again!” Not forgetting that he shouted his last word before closing the door.

Marita could only growl in annoyance before carrying out Hera's orders while inwardly swearing to return asking Tina to give her own room. A request that would be rejected outright by his mother, of course.

Hera never dared to sleep alone. That's what keeps Marita stuck in the same room with her brother.

Hera is also a phobia of darkness. Acutely. That is the reason why the entire walls of the room, even the walls of his house are decorated with various glow in dark stickers. Making their home buildings display a luxurious impression on the outside, it becomes like a playgroup school classroom inside.

Since they were small, Marita “forced” slept together with her brother. In the past, little Marita did not mind that arrangement. However, as he grew older, he increasingly needed his own personal space.

Indeed, Hera is not the type of brother who likes to interfere with his interests and touch Marita's personal belongings. It's just that, sometimes Hera can become really spoiled and bossy to him.

A few minutes later, Hera came out of the bathroom clad in a towel. Marita who was playing Candy Crush on her phone watched her brother's behavior who even pegged in front of the glass dresser instead of immediately replacing the towel with a full outfit.

“Ra? Sane?” ask Marita who finally could not bear to see Hera again.

“Udah muscled yet anyway?” ask Hera back to ignore the humiliation thrown by her sister.

“The only one who is muscular is your tongue. If no one can say anything!” reply Marita origin, make Hera immediately turned and lunged at Marita's body that was tucked on the mattress.

Marita who was late in moving finally only resigned when Hera's body landed on her back. Fortunately, his brother's body was flattened so that his back would only sprain due to the sudden attack.

“I have been desperately trying to gym for months so I can get a body like Safira. Don't talk carelessly if you haven't seen carefully!” said Hera while climbing Marita's head.

“Please, Ra. If you want to make the target body goal is like Kak Tian. Okelah six pack Kak Safira emang make envious, but Kak Tian's assets are more..” Marita thought for a moment to think of the most appropriate word to describe the physical one of her brother's friends.

“More.” Finally, only that word was able to be removed from his brain which was not good at stringing those words.

Hera thunts pissed. Not because Marita called Tian and Sapphira, also his other friends with the title “Kak”–padah he was only called a name without any frills–but again he was compared to Tian.

“Tian is a distance, Ta. I have to implant it so I can have a body like him.” Hera muttered softly.

“You think by lowering your standard body goal to level Kak Safira, you so think you do not need implants?” Marita grinned ignorantly. “Mim–”

Uncompleted Marita finished her words, a pillow was pounded hard on the top of her head. His gaze blurred for a moment thanks to the impact. Unfortunately, when he was intending to avenge Hera's behavior, the girl had already fled towards her walk-in closet. Leaving the murky Marita alone.

After wearing full clothes, Hera came out of her closet and grabbed her phone from the bag she had thrown on the sofa. When he changed his clothes, he remembered the phone call from Safira last night. Because Hera was already sleepy after Alvin died last night, she forgot to call her best friend back.

Hera pressed the call button on Safira's ID, but immediately the operator stated that the girl's number was outside the service area. Hera's feeling was immediately unpleasant. He intended to contact Afgar because somehow his premonition said that if something happened to his best friend last night, then it must be related to Afgar. Unfortunately, the young man did not answer his phone either.

Hera's getting restless. He turned towards Marita. He asked his brother to take him to Sapphira's house. However, an incoming call stopped his intentions. Seeing the name plastered there, Hera did not dare to delay for long to answer her phone. As much as he could, he tried to get rid of his anxiety for Sapphira because the person who called him was clearly experiencing something more worrying.

Hera quickly adjusted her breath before replying, “Halo, Vin?”

Marita who saw the eternal on Hera's face could only pay attention in silence. Lately, she felt a difference from her brother. Hera, who usually likes to confide in him, now has more problems of her own.

Marita also often saw her brother daydreaming on his own, but did not want to confess when asked. He finally concluded that the problem he was saving was not his own problem. And the name that Hera had just mentioned must have been a figure related to all that.
